Seagull invests AED15m to expand HVAC manufacturing in Ras Al Khaimah
Seagull, a UAE-born specialist in HVAC solutions, has expanded its manufacturing footprint with a new state-of-the-art facility in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), marking an investment of AED15 million.
Located in RAKEZ’s Al Ghail Industrial Zone, the fully operational plant spans 17,045 square metres and is housed within a pre-built manufacturing facility designed to prioritise operational efficiency and workforce wellbeing.
Seagull said further enhancements are underway as it works to set new benchmarks for world-class industrial workplaces.
The facility has a monthly production capacity of 50,000 square metres of galvanised iron (GI) coils, key components used in HVAC ducting and climate-control systems, and will serve major regional markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar.
Seagull currently employs 180 staff, with headcount expected to rise to around 300 by mid-2026 as production scales up and new product lines are introduced.

The expansion marks the next phase of Seagull’s growth strategy in Ras Al Khaimah, with plans to double factory floor space and expand staff accommodation by 2026 to support rising demand.
“Ras Al Khaimah has proven to be a highly strategic base for our operations, offering a cost-effective and growth-oriented environment,” said Taimor Khan, Chief Financial Officer of Seagull.
“The RAKEZ team’s professionalism and guidance were instrumental in facilitating our expansion, providing clarity, efficiency and access to the right infrastructure.”
RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad said the investment reflects growing confidence in the emirate’s industrial ecosystem. “Seagull’s expansion underscores the strength of Ras Al Khaimah’s business-friendly environment,” he said, adding that RAKEZ remains focused on supporting manufacturers with world-class infrastructure, streamlined processes and long-term partnerships.
Through the new facility, Seagull aims to strengthen the UAE’s HVAC manufacturing sector while contributing to Ras Al Khaimah’s expanding industrial landscape.
