Stocks Jump as Dow, S&P 500 Post November Gains With Late Rally
The stock market rose Friday in a shortened Black Friday session, ending a volatile November and caping off a strong Thanksgiving week.
The Dow rose 0.6%, the S&P 500 climbed 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.7% in a half-day of trading on Wall Street.
In a remarkable comeback, the Dow closed 0.3% higher for the November. It was down 3.8% just eight days ago.
