Tesla has launched its most affordable electric vehicle in Saudi Arabia, introducing the Model 3 Standard as part of a broader push to accelerate electric vehicle adoption across the Kingdom.

Since its initial introduction, Model 3 has played a central role in shifting electric vehicles from niche products to mainstream acceptance, reshaping the global automotive industry.

Tesla said the Saudi launch of the Model 3 Standard is designed to extend that transition to a wider audience.

The latest addition to the Model 3 lineup builds on the core qualities of the vehicle, including strong range and efficiency, sports-car-like performance and handling, advanced technology and software, top-tier safety and everyday usability.

With a focus on lower running costs and efficiency, Model 3 Standard delivers a refined in-car experience for all passengers.

Tesla said its manufacturing experience—built on more than 7 million electric vehicles produced globally and capacity across its Gigafactories—allows the company to benefit from economies of scale and offer the Model 3 Standard as a competitive market proposition.

As with all Tesla vehicles, Model 3 Standard includes the company’s full suite of signature features, such as remote mobile app access, Trip Planner with real-time Supercharger availability, Phone Key, Remote Climate Control, Sentry Mode and Dog Mode, alongside built-in gaming and entertainment options.

The vehicle offers 594 litres of rear trunk space with five passengers, expanding to 1,659 litres with the second row folded, plus an 88-litre front trunk. It also supports towing of up to 1,000 kg.

Model 3 Standard incorporates the latest updates to the Model 3 lineup introduced earlier this year, including a new front-facing camera with washer and heating, a redesigned indicator stalk, and standard adaptive headlights that selectively dim high-beam pixels to reduce glare for other road users.

Model 3 Standard is now available to order in Saudi Arabia at SR154,990 ($41,330), with deliveries set to begin in June 2026.

Tesla also confirmed pricing for the wider Model 3 lineup in Saudi Arabia:
