The S&P 500 was down 0.1%. The Dow was up just 64 points, or 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite’s gain was cut to 0.2%.
The stock market has been dealing with a case of bad breadth all morning, but things deteriorated even more shortly after 11 a.m. ET. Roughly 186 stocks in the S&P 500 were rising; the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF was down 0.3%.
