Westfield Dammam launches in Saudi Arabia as Cenomi Centers rebrands Nakheel Dammam Mall
Cenomi Centers has officially rebranded Nakheel Dammam Mall as Westfield Dammam, marking the first asset in its portfolio to adopt the globally recognised Westfield name.
The move strengthens the mall’s position as a leading retail and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia, with 292 stores and more than 58,000sq m of gross leasable area.
The company said the rebranding will enhance customer experience and build on an already strong international standard of shopping, dining and entertainment.
The shift is also expected to attract global brands to enter Westfield Dammam—or the Eastern Province—for the first time in the coming months.
According to Cenomi Centers, existing and prospective tenants have shown strong enthusiasm, with rising momentum in lease renewals and notable excitement among customers.
This rebranding marks the first deployment of the Westfield brand under the strategic franchising partnership signed in May between Cenomi Centers and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), the global owner and operator of Westfield shopping centres.
Under the agreement, Cenomi Centers secured exclusive rights to the Westfield brand in Saudi Arabia, in addition to access to URW’s global network, leasing expertise, marketing capabilities and retail-media platforms.

The company said this will support the creation of next-generation retail and lifestyle experiences aligned with the Kingdom’s evolving consumer expectations.
Alison Rehill-Erguven, CEO, Cenomi Centers, said: “We are incredibly proud to unveil Westfield Dammam, the first of our destinations to carry the globally recognised Westfield name. This milestone represents the beginning of an exciting new era for retail in Saudi Arabia, as we bring the very best international brands and experiences to our customers.
“Together with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, we will set new standards for shopping and leisure, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions.”
Anne-Sophie Sancerre, Chief Customer and Retail Officer, URW, said: “Vibrant, unique customer experiences are at the heart of the Westfield brand, and we are excited to work with Cenomi Centers to bring that to shoppers in Saudi Arabia while supporting the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 ambitions.
“Together with Cenomi, we look forward to creating next-generation destinations that resonate deeply with Saudi customers while expanding the platform of Westfield-branded centers for retailers and brands globally.”
Cenomi Centers confirmed that the Dammam rebranding is the first step in a broader transformation of its asset portfolio. In 2026, the company will launch two new flagship destinations—Westfield Jeddah and Westfield Riyadh—each planned to combine signature Westfield architecture with leading global retail brands.
