European and Asian Stocks Mostly Lower as Global Sentiment Takes a Hit
European and Asian equities were mostly lower on Monday amid a wider risk-off tone in markets to start the month of December.
London’s FTSE 100 fell less than 0.1% in early trading with the Paris CAC 40 slipping 0.3%. Frankfurt’s DAX shed 0.7% with the pan-European Stoxx 600 retreating 0.2%
Global sentiment will continue to be influenced by shifting expectations over whether the Federal Reserve will cut U.S. interest rates in December.
