Gate Launches GateAI, a Fact-Driven AI Market Assistant

Gate, one of the leading global crypto asset trading platforms, has officially launched GateAI, a new AI-powered market intelligence assistant. The product is positioned as the industry’s first AI investment support tool built with fact-driven principles at its core, aiming to help users interpret market movements more efficiently in an increasingly information-dense environment. 

GateAI has been fully integrated into Gate App version 8.2.0 and above, and can be accessed via the floating icon on the homepage, the sidebar shortcuts, as well as key usage scenarios, including homepage token search, spot candlestick charts, and the community feed.

GateAI is developed around the engineering philosophy of “verify first, then generate.” Rather than delivering conclusive judgments, the assistant organizes and explains market-related responses based on existing data and publicly available information. When users submit queries, GateAI summarizes key factors such as price movements and relevant market information, helping users understand what is happening through simple questions and natural dialogue. In cases where data is insufficient or information remains uncertain, GateAI will explicitly indicate that conclusions cannot be confirmed, avoiding speculative content. At a time when many AI products prioritize generation speed, this design approach, which places verifiability and caution first, reflects the platform’s long-term focus on risk management and user protection.

From a product positioning perspective, the current version of GateAI emphasizes a beginner-friendly experience. By lowering comprehension barriers and structuring essential information, it helps new market participants build a foundational understanding and gradually become familiar with the trading environment and key decision factors.

In terms of functional design, GateAI follows a “decision support, pathway guidance, and execution coordination” framework. Based on users’ explicit intentions, it provides structured informational support and actionable pathway references, such as market factor breakdowns, risk range indications, and operational process guidance. In scenarios involving account assets, position changes, and profit-and-loss performance, the system analyzes both outcomes and processes to help users understand key influencing factors, thereby reducing cognitive costs in complex trading environments.

Looking further ahead, GateAI is positioned not merely as a standalone feature, but as a comprehensive intelligent assistant spanning information comprehension, risk awareness, and trading coordination. With user authorization, it will continue to explore deeper integration with trading workflows, aiming to help users at different experience levels make more efficient judgments and execute decisions in complex market conditions.

In addition, GateAI initially adopted a unified usage quota model. Over time, tiered access plans will be introduced in alignment with the platform’s VIP system, offering advanced capabilities and dedicated support to higher-tier users.
