Japan Exports Growth Streak Continues, Boosting Rate Hike Hopes

TOKYO—Japan’s exports rose for a third straight month in November, further supporting expectations for an interest-rate hike this week.

Outbound shipments from Japan increased 6.1% from a year earlier, government data showed Wednesday. The result was higher than October’s 3.6% rise and the 4.8% forecast compiled by data provider LSEG.
