8 Most Rewatchable Fantasy Shows of All Time, Ranked
One of the most important jobs of any fantasy story, irrespective of medium, is to provide its audience with an escape from the real world into one of great wonders. So, it’s no surprise that we keep returning to our favorite fantasy shows time and again, finding a much-needed escape from the pains of reality in their wondrous stories. This is also why the best fantasy shows also lend themselves to repeated watching, giving viewers a familiar yet fantastical place they can return to whenever they need.
From iconic classics to more modern fare, these shows take audiences on entertaining and mindbending journeys alongside relatable characters, sometimes even delivering some much-needed lessons about the real world along the way. Now, without further ado, here’s our ranked selection of the most rewatchable fantasy shows of all time, including some of the greatest ever made.
8
‘Carnival Row’ (2019–2023)
A fantasy drama series set in a steampunk, Victorian-inspired world, Carnival Row was created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham, and is based on Beacham’s unproduced film spec script, A Killing on Carnival Row. Orlando Bloom stars as Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate, a detective investigating murders connected to mythological beings who have arrived in human society as refugees, encountering his lost love, the faerie Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne), in the process. Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma, Jared Harris, and more star in other significant roles.
Both seasons of Carnival Row were generally panned by reviewers, who criticized it for its overstuffed story that attempts to combine themes of class politics, sexism, elitism, race, immigration, and more. While that may have been more ambition than a show could rightly be expected to fulfill, the series is still a vibrant and beautiful watch that lends itself to rewatching, and though the critics may have hated it, audiences received it much better. Whatever flaws the series may have in its narrative are more than excused by the sheer wonder of its complexly crafted world, and it’s an enjoyable fantasy series that’s worth returning to.
7
‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ (1997–2003)
Based on the 1992 film, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a supernatural drama series that’s easily one of the most iconic fantasy shows of all time. The series stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers, a young woman chosen by fate to battle the forces of darkness as the latest in a long line of Vampire Slayers, following her adventures and attempts to balance monster hunting with her normal life. The show also stars Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Stewart Head, David Boreanaz, and more in key roles.
While the show has become somewhat controversial in recent years due to accusations of workplace harassment by creator Joss Whedon, there’s no denying the fact that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the greatest fantasy shows ever to hit television. Acclaimed by both critics and audiences during its original broadcast, the series is an evergreen favorite and a pop culture landmark that continues to entertain new generations of fans today. And even though some elements of the show certainly haven’t aged well, it’s still a generally fun watch every time you revisit it.
6
‘Supernatural’ (2005–2020)
A fantasy adventure-drama procedural, Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke and stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as the monster-hunting Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean. The story begins when their father disappears during a hunting trip, forcing the brothers to travel the country in search of him and face off against various supernatural threats along the way. Besides Padalecki and Ackles, the series also stars Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alona Tal, Jim Beaver, and more in supporting roles.
With a whopping 15 seasons to its name, Supernatural is the longest-running American live-action fantasy show ever made. Of course, with so many seasons, the series has had its share of problems, but it’s an entertaining series overall that continues to enjoy the adoration of a huge global fan base. The first five seasons are decidedly the best, but every season makes for a fun rewatch, especially if you’re a fan.
5
‘What We Do in the Shadows’ (2019–2024)
Created by Jemaine Clement, What We Do in the Shadows is a horror comedy mockumentary show based on Clement and Taika Waititi’s 2014 film. The series follows four vampires who live together on Staten Island as roommates, exploring their various clashes with other supernatural beings, the unfamiliar modern world, and each other. The show stars Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch, and Kristen Schaal in main roles.
What We Do in the Shadows premiered on FX in 2019 to positive reviews, earning praise for its performances, writing, and humor. And it’s only gotten better since then, delivering six successful seasons over the course of its run that are all wildly entertaining and endlessly rewatchable. It’s a hilarious series with great characters and an absurd narrative (in a good way). The show has also received several accolades, including 35 nominations for Emmy Awards, four of which are for Outstanding Comedy Series.
4
‘Stranger Things’ (2016–2025)
One of the most successful shows of recent years, Stranger Things is a genre-bending coming-of-age adventure series created by the Duffer Brothers. Set in the 1980s in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, the show follows a group of young children who investigate strange paranormal events that are plaguing the town, eventually unearthing a connection to secret government experiments involving an alternate dimension. The series’ ensemble cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, and more.
Consisting of five seasons released over a nearly 10-year period, Stranger Things was extremely successful during its original run, though there were excruciating waits between seasons. Now that it’s ended, the series makes for an excellent rewatch for fans, and an uninterrupted binge for newcomers to the franchise. Almost universally acclaimed and hugely popular, the show is an entertaining, nostalgic mystery-adventure that blends fantasy, drama, sci-fi, and horror to create an immersive, enjoyable journey.
3
‘The Magicians’ (2015–2020)
Developed by Sera Gamble and John McNamara, The Magicians is a fantasy show adapted from Lev Grossman’s titular trilogy of books, exploring the world of Brakebills University for Magical Pedagogy. Essentially a more mature Harry Potter, the series follows a graduate student who enrolls at the university and learns that his favorite childhood book series is based on real and dangerous truths. Simultaneously, his friend, who was denied entry to the school, finds her own path, creating even more danger. Jason Ralph and Stella Maeve lead the cast, which includes Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, Rick Worthy, Jade Tailor, Brittany Curran, and Trevor Einhorn in key roles.
A hit Syfy fantasy show, The Magicians was widely acclaimed by critics and fans throughout its five-season run, earning praise for its maturity, weirdness, and unique approach to magic. All five seasons were nominated for Saturn Awards, and the show is widely acknowledged by fantasy fans as one of the best series ever made in the genre. It’s a visually stunning and brilliantly performed show with likable characters, mindbending adventures, and a dark sense of humor.
2
‘His Dark Materials’ (2019–2022)
Written by Jack Thorne and adapted from Philip Pullman’s book series, His Dark Materials is a fantasy drama set across multiple worlds of a multiverse, linked by an invisible cosmic substance called Dust. On one of these worlds, where souls manifest outside the body as animal companions and a corrupt theocracy rules all, a young girl named Lyra (Dafne Keene) sets out to find her missing friend, uncovering a complex conspiracy involving Dust and discovering her own destiny in the process. Ruth Wilson, Jame McAcoy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anne-Marie Duff, Clarke Peters, James Cosmo, and more star in supporting roles.
The novels that inspired His Dark Materials are among the most thematically complex and intricately crafted fantasy series of all time, and the show masterfully adapts its source material for the screen as a gorgeous visual journey. Widely praised by critics and fans for its visual effects, music, performances, and story, the series is an immersive watch full of strange and fascinating phenomena that you could return to time and time again. It’s easily one of the best fantasy shows of the 21st century so far, and worth watching multiple times just to soak in all the details.
1
‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ (2005–2008)
Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated fantasy action series set in a world where certain people can control each of the four classical elements: water, earth, fire, and air. After the Fire Nation wages war against the other nations, 12-year-old Aang, the current Avatar with the power to wield all four elements, sets out on a journey to stop their plan for world domination. Zach Tyler Eisen leads the voice cast as Aang, with Mae Whitman, Jack De Sena, Dante Basco, Jessie Flower, Dee Bradley Baker, Mako, Greg Baldwin, Grey Griffin, and Mark Hamill voicing key characters.
Arguably the most enduringly popular shows ever to air on Nickelodeon, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a hit animated series that combines anime influences and a Chinese-inspired world with classic cartoon action. Universally acclaimed for its animation, themes, performances, and story, the series commands an international fan following and is easily among the most popular fantasy shows of all time. The series continues to be a perennial comfort watch for its fans, and it has inspired a massive franchise that includes comics, novels, a sequel series, and a live-action remake.

Bonnie Blue Plans to Auction Off Baby’s Name Amid Pregnancy
Adult content creator Bonnie Blue is thinking of ways to include her fans in her pregnancy.
“I would like to auction off the baby’s name, I think that would be quite fun,” Blue, 26, exclusively told Us Weekly, sharing that she doesn’t have a name picked out yet. “I think I want to get my fans involved in a gender reveal. They’re going to be involved along the way.”
She continued, “But I want to be very careful [about] not sexualizing the child. So it’s trying to get the right balance of getting people involved, but not having the baby sexualized. Pregnancy can be sexualized. That’s fine, because that’s referring to me, but there’ll be a very strict line, especially once the baby’s here, of what’s shown and how much is shown.”
Blue (real name Tia Billinger) explained that she’s “always thinking of new ideas” and thought involving her fans in choosing the baby’s name would “obviously [be] a fun one.”
“I’m yet to decide anymore,” she said. “Spring break was a big one that I’ve just finished, so that was the priority. And spring break is coming to an end now, so I’ll be thinking of what’s next shortly after.”
After having unprotected sex with 400 men in her so-called “breeding mission,” Blue claimed in February that she is pregnant. When asked if she had a message for the men who participated in her event, Blue told Us, “Good luck, I guess.”
“I was very transparent of what the event was about, what I’d like the outcome to be,” she said, “and they’ve got the option if they’d like to be involved, once I find out who the [dad] is, or if they don’t want to be, then I’m more than happy to be a single mom.”
Blue shared that she’s “making sure the baby’s healthy” and is not focused on establishing paternity.
“As any pregnant woman would agree, it’s the main priority during a pregnancy,” she said of the baby’s health. “In terms of finding out the dad, that’s another day’s problem.”
While some have theorized that Blue’s pregnancy is a stunt, the adult content creator told Us she’s not bothered.
“It’s not my job to convince them I am actually pregnant,” Blue said of the haters. “The more doubts, the more comments, the more views, and it will stay that way. I saw a comment say, ‘Even if I’m seen having a baby, they’ll think it’s a doll.’ So enjoy watching me carrying a doll around this year because I am pregnant, but I am not fazed at all if people don’t believe me.”
While promising “lots of Spring Break content” will be shared soon, Blue said her commitment to creating content “just shows I’ve been able to continue doing what I do despite being pregnant or not pregnant.”

Cardi B Tackles Hair Care With New Grow-Good Line
Cardi B is already an immensely successful multihyphenate, but despite having a ton of things on her plate, she’s set to add one more — a highly anticipated haircare line that was years in the making.
In a recent interview, the Grammy winner opened up about venturing into the crowded haircare space, balancing her career with motherhood, and more.
Cardi B Isn’t Slowing Down Anytime Soon And Wants To ‘Do Everything Now’

Speaking exclusively with Allure, Cardi B got candid about seizing the moment by doing “everything now,” so she can rest later and enjoy the fruits of her labor that has been highly intensive since she burst on the music scene in 2017.
When asked if rest is on her agenda in the near future, Cardi responded with her famed blunt honesty. “No, I can’t. Not this year,” she said while noting her “100 gazillion meetings” that consistently keep her very busy.
“I just want to do everything now,” the multi-platinum rapper told the outlet. “I told myself I needed two years of being uncomfortable so I could be comfortable. Things just change every single f-king day. And it’s like, This is your moment. This is the time to do it.”
Cardi B Preps Grow-Good Haircare Line For Release Amid Sell-Out ‘Little Miss Drama’ Tour

Cardi knows that anything she does will be scrutinized heavily, as she admitted that the stakes for Grow-Good, her haircare line launching in April, may be higher than releasing music.
“People are gonna buy my sh-t just off my name, but are you gonna come back?,” she hypothetically asked during the interview. “It’s about coming back.”
“A bad song is not gonna f-k up your life,” Cardi said candidly. “Imagine you put some sh-t into your hair, and you damage it, and I’m responsible?!”
Grow-Good launches with two shampoos (Wash Cycle Shampoo, Wash Cycle+ Shampoo,) two conditioners (Soft Serve Conditioner, Soft Serve+ Conditioner,) the Get Rich Hydrating Hair Mask, and the Everything Serum.
Cardi Welcomed Stefon Diggs’ Mom To Tour Stop Despite The Couple Calling It Quits

On March 4, Stephanie Diggs, mother of Stefon Diggs, made it clear that there is no bad blood between her and Cardi B despite the rapper and her son recently ending their relationship after welcoming a baby boy in September 2025.
Stephanie attended the Houston tour stop, which also featured a guest appearance by Megan Thee Stallion, and shared the night out via photos on Instagram.
During the NFL season, Stephanie and Cardi were frequently seen at the New England Patriots games together supporting Diggs.
The Rapper And NFL Player Ended Their Relationship Following Drama-Filled Super Bowl Weekend

Cardi B was Stefon Diggs’ biggest cheerleader during the NFL season, as the superstar was heralded as the latest celebrity WAG.
She appeared at multiple NFL games to support him, and fans were excited to see them together at the Super Bowl, where she performed as part of Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
However, drama behind the scenes led to the pair parting ways.
The day after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Seattle Seahawks, PEOPLE confirmed that Diggs and Cardi unfollowed each other on Instagram. The rapper then confirmed the split when she addressed it for the first time on February 15, while on tour.
On February 25, an inside source gave US Weekly insight into what led to the breakup between the two.
“They are always so up and down. This isn’t the first time they have broken up,” the source said.
“Cardi is single and putting herself out there again,” they continued. “She feels free. He betrayed her so many times. Her friends have been trying to show her that he is not right for her and that she deserved better.”
Cardi Previously Addressed The Former Patriots Star While On Stage

At the San Francisco stop of the ‘Little Miss Drama’ tour, Cardi sent Diggs a subliminal message while on stage.
“I’m too sexy to be lonely and too grown to be played with n-gga. Who are you playing with, motherf-cker?” she said without mentioning his name.
“None of them b-tches f-cking with me,” Cardi added. Prior to that nod to their former relationship, she began her song “Pretty & Petty,” which is a diss against Bia, by making it clear that just because she and Diggs are done doesn’t mean Bia can take shots at him.

Mormon Wives’ Jessi Returns to Social Media Since Divorce
Jessi Ngatikaura returned to social media after her estranged husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 33, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, March 24, to share that she was listening to Taylor Swift’s song “Fresh Out the Slammer” from her Tortured Poet’s Department album. The track is about being free after ending a relationship.
Jessi chose to highlight the lyric, “But it’s gonna be alright. I did my time,” in her social media upload.
Last week, Jordan, 31, filed for divorce from Jessi after five years of marriage. (The pair share kids Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 2.)
“This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart,” Jordan told Us Weekly in a statement on Thursday, March 19. “I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”
He continued, “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”
The timing of Jessi’s post comes after TMZ and Page Six both reported that Jordan’s temporary restraining order (TRO) was denied. (Page Six was the first to break the news.)
One day after filing for divorce, Jordan submitted a TRO request. No additional details regarding the request, including the alleged reason for the filing, were revealed at the time.
Jessi and Jordan’s relationship has been a focus on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. In the second season, Jessi was accused of infidelity. She later revealed that she had an emotional affair with Hulu star Marciano Brunette after they met while filming Vanderpump Villa.
“I wouldn’t say I was in love with him. It only lasted about two weeks, so it was quick. But I will say I confided in him a lot,” Jessi exclusively told Us ahead of the season 3 premiere in November 2025. “The dynamic with Jordan that I had had in my marriage, I hadn’t really talked to anyone about it. My family and friends had been aware because they’d seen things, but I tried to be like, ‘Everything’s fine.’”
Jessi claimed that she and Brunette grew close after she opened up about her marriage woes.
“I did feel a connection to him in that sense because he was there for me and he made me feel special,” she said. “Jordan would put me down a lot. Marciano told me how pretty and cool and fun I was. I felt like there was a connection there because he was giving me something I was lacking. But I wouldn’t say I was in love with him.”

With Just 2 Episodes Left, ‘High Potential’ Drops a Game-Changing Reveal for Its Biggest Mystery Ever
High Potential is now nearing the end of its second season, with just two episodes left after this week’s episode, “Change of Plans.” As such, each episode brings the show closer to solving the mystery of what happened to Roman Sinquerra. This week’s episode brings back Willa Quinn (Jennifer Jason Leigh), the notorious fixer who ordered Roman’s abduction 16 years earlier. As she makes Selena’s (Judy Reyes) investigation much more difficult, the Major Crimes team investigates the murder of a tagger, and Captain Wagner (Steve Howey) deals with a request from his powerful father.
This week’s episode is a strong installment that finally delivers a major piece of information about what happened to Roman. It also continues to show the complex growing feelings between Morgan (Kaitlin Olson) and Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), while throwing a wrench into the Roman investigation. “Change of Plans” gives some excellent setup for the last two episodes of the season, spelling an exciting and suspenseful conclusion to Season 2 ahead.
In ‘High Potential’ Season 2, Episode 16, Major Crimes Investigates the Murder of a Tagger
A graffiti tagger named Tyler Villanueva, known by the tag name of D’Fnkt, is found dead and draped over the side of an unconventionally-shaped building called Encase. Morgan and Karadec learn that Tyler had just tagged the inside of the building before he was killed. He had been tagging over someone else’s complete piece, so they suspect that Tyler was killed because of it. Morgan reaches out to her old friend Nicole (June Carryl), a professor and former tagger knew both Morgan and Roman back in the day. Nicole tells Morgan and Karadec that Tyler tagged over the work of a tagger named Cyclops. Daphne (Javicia Leslie) and Oz (Deniz Akdeniz) then find Cyclops, whose real name is Anton.
Anton tells them that he and Tyler had called a truce because they’d both been anonymously paid to tag the building together. Morgan and Karadec bring in the architect, Gerald Lee (Alex Quijano), to ask him questions. Lee tells them that he wasn’t going to get to finish Encase, and it was going to be torn down by developers. The graffiti brought the property’s value down just in time for a private sale by a man named Brad Latmore. As it turns out, Latmore paid Tyler and Anton to tag the building so that he could buy it. When he didn’t pay Tyler right away, Tyler tagged his garage. Latmore ultimately paid them both in full, though, and it’s clear that he is not the killer. Morgan and Karadec go to check out the building again. It’s very hot in there, and the building has been filled with propane tanks and a glove full of gasoline that could cause an explosion at any second.
Karadec sends Morgan out of the building. There is a small explosion, but the building is still intact, and Karadec is all right except for a head injury. Later, Major Crimes realizes that someone tried to burn down the building, and Tyler caught them while he was there tagging, so they killed him. Wagner steps in to help with the case in Karadec’s absence, and he and Morgan get a look at a model of Encase that leads Morgan to realize that the building was built poorly. Encase is positioned so that the concrete side of the building gets the most light, making the building hot, and risking a structural collapse. The glass side was supposed to face that way, but the original clients made a last-minute change and messed it up. Morgan realizes that Lee tried to burn down just that side of the building so that he could redesign it, and he killed Tyler for catching him in the act. After the arrest, Nicole goes to thank Morgan, and she brings her a Frida Kahlo book for Ava (Amirah J) that Roman gave Nicole back in the day.
‘High Potential’ Season 2, Episode 16 Furthers Complicates the Morgan and Karadec Love Triangle
Karadec and Lucia (Susan Kelechi Watson) have a dinner planned for that night. Lucia just bought a house in LA, and she and Karadec have already spoken about him potentially moving in with her soon, so they’re going to celebrate. When Karadec tells Morgan, she is thrown off, and she clearly feels conflicted about this news. Later, when Karadec gets hurt in the Encase explosion, Morgan is terrified for him. Lucia goes to visit Karadec at the hospital, where he initially mistakes her for Morgan when he’s first coming to, and Morgan is being very demanding and attentive throughout his recovery.
It’s especially clear in these moments with the three of them just how in sync Morgan and Karadec are, and how Lucia can see it as well. Still, Lucia and Morgan are both kind to one another, and they’re just worried about Karadec. Later, while Morgan is finishing up the investigation into Tyler’s murder, Lucia is still at the hospital with Karadec. Karadec gets food from the restaurant they were supposed to go to delivered to the hospital for the two of them. Over dinner with Lucia, he tells her that he loves her, and she says it back. As for Morgan, she makes sure to include Karadec in the victory by taking a piece of evidence to the hospital to show him.
‘High Potential’ Season 2, Episode 16 Reveals One Person Behind Roman’s Abduction
This episode starts off with Willa Quinn in LA now, lurking around to make sure that Selena can’t get any information out of Eric Hayworth (John Pyper-Ferguson). Willa shows up to the station, where Selena meets with her. Willa wants to silence Hayworth, and she pretends to offer to help Selena with Roman’s case in exchange. Selena tells Willa that there are coded messages on the Blackberry from Roman’s backpack that match the day and time he disappeared. Willa pretends to be oblivious, but Selena can tell that she is afraid. Later, Wagner meets with his father to talk. Wagner Sr. tells Wagner that he’s launched a panel to look into corruption, and he wants Morgan to join. Wagner knows that Morgan won’t want the job, but he also knows better than to fight his dad on this one.
Wagner offers the job to Morgan, and she, expectedly, declines it. Later, when he pushes the issue again, she calls him out and he tells her the truth. Wagner very well may be innocent after all, but his father definitely isn’t. Later, Willa gets Hayworth moved to an FBI facility for his possible knowledge related to the murder of Lila Flynn, the FBI agent whom Roman was informing to, and who was killed around the time he was abducted. Then, Willa meets up with Wagner Sr. As it turns out, she’d asked him to move Morgan away from Major Crimes in the first place. Willa then tells Wagner Sr. that they’re in this together, and that he’ll go down if she does. This confirms that Wagner Sr. was directly involved in what happened to Roman, and that he was likely the one who hired her to get rid of Roman. It would have been a better reveal if he’d been introduced sooner, but it’s still a strong twist that will likely make for an explosive end to the season.
High Potential airs Tuesdays at 9:00 P.M. EST on ABC.

The Man Without Fear Returns in a Brutally Solid Start
Editor’s Note: The below contains spoilers for the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premiere. In 2025, Charlie Cox‘s fan-favorite street-level Marvel hero was brought back into the MCU fold with Daredevil: Born Again, which picked up where Matt Murdock’s story left off in the critically acclaimed Netflix series. However, it wasn’t always that way, and when both fans and those close to the project expressed their concerns about the apparent lack of continuity, it led to a massive creative overhaul. The result was far more connections to the original show that fans no doubt appreciated, but also a few narrative inconsistencies across Season 1. Still, with gripping performances, intense action scenes, and a refreshing level of grit rarely seen in the MCU, Daredevil: Born Again quickly earned a second season, which has finally premiered with its first episode on Disney+.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 concluded with both attorney Matt Murdock (Cox) and recently elected New York mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) reembracing their cast-aside roles as Daredevil and the Kingpin, respectively. Fisk has assembled a task force of violent, corrupt police officers to round up the city’s vigilantes, prompting Daredevil and his longtime companion, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), to kickstart a resistance movement against the nefarious villain. With New York’s very soul on the line, Matt and Karen are making some excellent progress, but Fisk, as per usual, has some tricks up his sleeve.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Has Bad News for Karen/Frank Shippers
Daredevil: Born Again‘s Season 2 premiere wastes zero time getting right to the action, with Daredevil investigating a heavily guarded cargo ship that appears to be smuggling weapons for Fisk. Our favorite Man Without Fear is also rocking a brand-new costume, with some much darker shades of red and black making for a stealthier look despite the more bombastic DD on his chest. It’s a nice change of pace from Season 1, which primarily saw Matt flirting with the idea of returning to his Daredevil persona before finally embracing his destiny as Hell’s Kitchen’s greatest Defender.
After a predictably brutal and entertaining (albeit somewhat choppily edited) fist fight with some guards, Matt finds evidence that the ship is being used to smuggle weapons, possibly for Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force (or AVTF for short), but not before the ship’s captain and first mate rig the ship to sink. Matt escapes, leaving Mayor Fisk to see the damage, enraged to learn that the captain and first mate have disappeared. As a result, Fisk orders his new right-hand man, Buck (Arty Froushan), and the AVTF to tie up these loose ends as soon as possible.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Gets Major Last-Minute Release Schedule Change
The new series begins soon on Disney+.
After escaping the ship, Matt returns to his home base to find his longtime friend Karen Page training, but the passionate kiss the two share seemingly confirms that they’re a lot more than friends now. For the first time since Season 2 of the original Netflix series, Matt and Karen have evidently rekindled their complicated romance, which is bad news for all the fans rooting for Karen and Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) to end up together. Some may also be disappointed that this rekindling seemingly happened in between seasons, but it’s still nice to see the two fan-favorite characters together again.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’s Supporting Characters Already Have a Lot More To Do
Perhaps a lot of it was due to the much-publicized creative overhaul, but one of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1’s larger issues was not knowing what to do with its supporting characters. That doesn’t appear to be the case thus far for Season 2, as the MCU show is already taking some steps in the right direction, starting with arguably Season 1’s most divisive character, Dr. Heather Glenn (Margarita Levieva). Now fully under Fisk’s employ, Heather appears to be haunted by Season 1’s events, particularly her role in gunning down the artistic serial killer Muse (Hunter Doohan). As traumatizing as the experience was, Heather is very clearly entering her villain era, even fabricating medical documents for Jack Duquesne (Tony Dalton), AKA the Swordsman, to further Fisk’s anti-vigilante agenda.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 also introduces a brand-new wildcard into the mix with Mr. Charles (Matthew Lillard), who appears to be far more of a threat than anyone could have predicted. While nobody seems to know who this individual is or where he came from, he’s got friends in high places, yet he seems to be on Fisk’s side (at least, for now) since his employers are the ones who requested that weapons shipment. This is evident when Fisk is being chastised by the attorney general for his fascist and clearly illegal methods to reign in New York’s vigilantes, only for him to get a call from Charles’ associate “Ms. De Fontaine” (guaranteed to be none other than Julia Louis Dreyfus’ cutthroat Thunderbolts* antagonist).
Meanwhile, independent journalist BB Urich (Genneya Walton) is also back, now helping Daniel Blake (Michael Gandolfini) make AVTF propaganda videos. In actuality, BB is working undercover to expose Fisk as the monster he is, working alongside Karen to help prove that Fisk was the one who murdered her uncle, Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall), all the way back in Netflix’s Daredevil Season 1. There’s even some sort of Fisk caricature that is interrupting BB’s propaganda in an attempt to show what the mayor is really up to. While that’s going on, Matt’s legal partner, Kirsten McDuffie (Nikki M. James), is dealing with an increasingly corrupt legal system, while PI Cherry (Clark Johnson) is trying to find some dirt on those missing sailors, though his digging hasn’t gone unnoticed by Fisk’s team.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2’s Premiere Teases an Unlikely Alliance
In a sequence that eerily mirrors the ruthless and controversial tactics of the Trump administration’s ICE agents (as recently seen in The Pitt), Fisk’s AVTF uses violence and intimidation to achieve its goals, once again showing the TV-MA series isn’t afraid to delve into modern cultural and political issues. The corrupt cops, led by Officer Powell (Hamish Allan-Headley), have already tracked down and taken care of the ship’s captain, but the first mate is still at large. This leads a crew of AVTF agents to Cherry’s apartment, where they begin to relentlessly torture the former NYPD detective, leading Daredevil to swoop in and save him.
However, things take a grim turn when Cherry begins to have a heart attack, and not only does the pounding heartbeat overwhelm Matt’s senses, but it also gives him grim flashbacks to the death of his best friend, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), in Season 1. Matt is so distracted to the point where the AVTF agents not only overtake him, but also even unmask him, revealing the secret identity of Daredevil. The big reveal doesn’t last, as the agents are quickly slain by an unknown assailant, whose identity is revealed to be none other than Bullseye (Wilson Bethel).
Even though Benjamin Poindexter shot Matt while trying to kill Fisk not too long ago, murdered Foggy, and is seemingly secretly still working with Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer), Bullseye saving his archnemesis seems to indicate the early beginnings of an uneasy alliance between the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen and the Man Without Mercy. Working with a good-intentioned vigilante like the Punisher, who thinks killing is necessary, is one thing, but working with a vindictive assassin who finds deep-seated pleasure in the deaths of others may push our hero into truly uncharted territory, and one that charts a very exciting direction for the MCU saga.

Pros & Cons
- The fight scenes (particularly the final fight) are as brutal and visceral as ever.
- The supporting characters are already being given a lot more to do.
- The teased Daredevil/Bullseye team-up is a very fun direction.
- Seeing “Karedevil” reborn is great…
- …but it’s a shame that Matt and Karen’s romantic build up happened offscreen.
- Wilson Fisk hasn’t been given a whole lot to do (yet).

Inside Timothée Chalamet’s Relationship With Kylie Jenner’s Kids
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s relationship continues to make waves, with the actor even earning a soft spot with Jenner’s children.
The duo, who have sustained their relationship for three years, remain vocal about their love for each other, constantly portraying a public display of affection.
While Jenner and her sisters have warmly embraced Timothée, it appears the dynamic may be different with his own family, as his sister recently gave Jenner a rather cold greeting at an event.
Timothée Chalamet Builds A Bond With Kylie Jenner’s Kids

The love within Jenner’s family appears to be blossoming, as an insider shared details about how Timothée is connecting with her children, per US Magazine.
“Timothée has also become a part of her kids’ lives and is really great with them,” the insider revealed about Jenner’s children, Stormi, 8, and Aire, 4, showing that he has not only found love with their mother but is also forming a bond with her kids.
The source further explained how fond the children are of Timothée, noting that Jenner took her time before introducing him to them.
“They kept that part of life separate for a while, but Kylie slowly let him in, and now he’s spent a good amount of time with them,” the insider added, emphasizing that despite being together for three years, the couple did not rush that step.
Timothée Chalamet And Kylie Jenner Hint At Expanding Their Family

While the connection with the children is still growing, Timothée and Jenner have long been expressive about their relationship since they began dating three years ago.
As The Blast reported, the couple is often seen hand-in-hand at industry events and award ceremonies. Most recently, they turned heads at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, where they posed confidently and shared affectionate moments, with Timothée placing a hand on her waist and kissing her cheek.
An insider also revealed that the couple has had “a lot of real conversations about their future and what they both want,” hinting at the possibility of taking their relationship to the next level.
“Kylie really wants another baby and has been open about the fact that she doesn’t feel like she needs to be married to do that, and they’re both on the same page about wanting a kid together,” the source added, noting that starting a family was not originally something Timothée had considered.
Inside Timothée Chalamet And Kylie Jenner’s Love Story

Regardless of their future plans, the couple continues to show up for each other in meaningful ways, consistently expressing their affection.
As The Blast reported, they recently displayed their closeness at the Oscars, with a source revealing that Jenner is in “awe” of the Marty Supreme actor and takes pride in supporting his career.
“She is super supportive of his career and feels it’s very important. Even though it overlaps with her world a bit, going to premieres and awards shows still feels [like] new territory for her, and she can get a little shy in that setting,” the insider shared, highlighting Jenner’s admiration and support for Timothée.
Timothée Chalamet Finds Acceptance Within Kylie Jenner’s Family

Timothée’s acceptance into Jenner’s life extends beyond her children, as he has also formed a strong bond with her family.
“Kylie’s sisters and Kris have really embraced him. He always has a spot at the table for every holiday and is included in all of their plans. They all really like him for her and think he has brought out a softer side to Kylie,” a source revealed, per The Blast.
The insider added that their relationship feels “refreshing,” as Jenner has “never dated anyone like him,” further emphasizing that she is his “biggest cheerleader” and is always eager to support him at public events.
Timothée’s Sister, Pauline, Appeared Distant Toward Kylie Jenner

However, while Jenner’s family has welcomed Timothée, the same level of warmth may not fully extend from his side.
As reported by The Blast, a moment at a recent ceremony hinted at possible tension between Jenner and Timothée’s sister, Pauline.
Jenner, who was already seated at the event, appeared excited to greet Pauline and gestured for a hug. Pauline, however, seemed hesitant before eventually reciprocating, prompting Jenner to stand up.
Though brief, the interaction caught fans’ attention, with many noting the awkwardness. A body language expert observed that Pauline appeared to pull away quickly, describing the moment as a “faux hug” that lacked genuine warmth.

8 Sci-Fi Movie Trailers That Gave Away Too Much
Trailers are a necessary evil when it comes to the world of cinema. They were traditionally a bit more important than they might be now, but marketing is still significant to some extent, and certain trailers can still cause a buzz in the internet age. If a trailer doesn’t give away too much, then it’s probably not evil at all, and is just a neutral thing (take it or leave it; watch it or don’t watch it), but if too much is given away, it’s annoying every time.
There’s a focus below on sci-fi movie trailers that showed a little too much, be it some kind of reveal or even just a very memorable shot that’s hard to forget about – and anticipate – once it comes time to watch the movie. To the credit of these trailers, though, none are as bad as the particularly infamous original trailer for The Godfather (1972), which is just a slideshow of images from almost every single scene in the movie. It’s not sci-fi, so it’s not here, but it really does have to be seen to be believed (don’t watch it if you’re one of the three people on the planet who haven’t seen The Godfather yet, though).
8
‘Project Hail Mary’ (2026)
The trailers for Project Hail Mary don’t ruin absolutely everything, but the whole mystery angle of the film is undermined a bit if you’ve seen the promotional material. You’d think the basic premise and star power would be interesting enough. Like, there’s a potentially planet-ending threat, a mission into space to save the world, and only one person on board that spaceship (played by Ryan Gosling, no less, who’s one of the bigger stars at the moment, even if actors generally aren’t as bankable alone as they might’ve been in decades past).
There are some interesting things about why he ended up on the ship that are depicted in the trailers, and then the fact that an alien life form plays a huge role in the narrative is also given away. The whole character of Rocky is also shown in the second and third trailers, so it’s one thing to hint at extra-terrestrial life, but another thing entirely to make clear the appearance and eventual dynamic the alien life form has with the main character. Project Hail Mary is still a good and enjoyable movie if you’ve been subjected to the trailers, but it’s probably even better a viewing experience if you haven’t.
7
‘Blade Runner 2049’ (2017)
Oh hey, it’s another sci-fi movie starring Ryan Gosling that had a few too many things given away in its trailer. It’s Blade Runner 2049, and while it’s not an instantly unforgivable act to show things that happen in a movie’s second half in a trailer, it is a problem when something that happens in the back half of a movie is treated like a reveal by the movie itself, yet there’s no big wow moment in actuality, since you’ve already seen what happens in the trailer.
It’s Harrison Ford showing up, to put it bluntly. And, sure, he was central in Blade Runner (1982), so it makes sense for him to be in the sequel in some capacity, but the movie really holds off on confirming whether he’ll be in it, provided you don’t know ahead of time, thanks to the trailer. It would be like if the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailers showed the other Spider-Men showing up. People were expecting it there, too, but it was still nice to not be 100% sure until the movie opened (and it led to people famously getting genuinely excited when it happened, in the moment).
6
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ (2017)
If you have the Hulk in your movie, you’re probably going to want to show the Hulk in your movie’s trailer, so by that logic, you might wonder why Thor: Ragnarok belongs here. It’s more to do with how the Hulk is introduced in the movie itself, because it’s done in a way that’s supposed to feel like a surprise reveal (similar to the Blade Runner 2049 situation, and one that explains what happened to him after he left Earth at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
If you didn’t see any trailers or posters for Thor: Ragnarok somehow, it would feel like a cool surprise, because that’s how it’s executed in the movie itself. The trailers also show a bit too much when it comes to other parts of the movie, including Mjölnir getting destroyed, which is a shame when the movie’s trying to be surprising and (in mostly good ways) a little different from the majority of Marvel Cinematic Universe entries that had come before it.
5
‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016)
There is a significant death scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that the trailers don’t show, but it felt like everything else but that moment was fair game to spoil. And, true, a trailer’s always going to show the fight promised in the title, even if a lot of it doesn’t happen until near the end of the movie, and also, “Dawn of Justice” more than hints that the conflict won’t last and that the Justice League is soon to be properly formed, but still.
Having Wonder Woman at all in the movie might’ve been nice to not know about, even if she was always going to be there once the Justice League was formed. It’s clear that she and the two title characters team up near the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the trailers also make it apparent who Lex Luthor ultimately uses to combat the superheroes: Doomsday (again, it would’ve also been nice to not know he’d be featured in the film’s climax).
4
‘Predator’ (1987)
If they’d really wanted to, Predator could’ve been made and released without any indication that the villain was a deadly hunter from outer space. You know aliens are going to be involved right from the start, so it’s fair game that the trailer also lays out the whole alien thing. Still, in another world, you could’ve marketed this purely as a Commando-esque action/adventure/thriller movie, and then totally blindsided people Cabin in the Woods-style after just a few scenes.
Instead, Predator is here because the theatrical trailer shows the alien too much, since its appearance (though now well-known, thanks to Predator being a series) isn’t fully revealed until quite late in the actual movie. Also, at least one significant death is more than alluded to, and you also see a little too much of the movie’s final showdown, even though there was plenty of action earlier in the movie that trailers could’ve shown to keep proper spoilers to a minimum.
3
‘Prometheus’ (2012)
Prometheus is not necessarily a well-loved movie, or at least those who do like it are willing to acknowledge that there are some problems with it. It’s a prequel to Alien that doesn’t have much by way of an alien, or aliens, but is very much tied to that original film in some admittedly interesting ways, some of which are shown in the trailer (but not everything Alien-related was viewable before the movie’s actual release).
Instead, what Prometheus shows a little too much of is some stuff that happens in the final act, including visuals of a rather spectacular explosion that’s hard to forget, with such visuals also making it plain what’s exploding. There’s also an effective moment of body horror in Prometheus that’s less surprising if you’ve seen the trailer, and also a reveal of one particular threat (not an alien, but something physically imposing) that’s best not known before starting the film.
2
‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ (2014)
There’s more to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 than just science fiction, as far as genres go, but the sci-fi stuff is there enough for it to qualify as such a movie. And there’s too much here, really, so it bounces around between genres rather chaotically. You might expect, then, that the marketing team would have a lot of material to work with, and could therefore assemble trailers that didn’t ruin things, and yet…
It’s messy, so you can’t piece together the entire movie or anything from the trailers, yet too many memorable shots and reveals were shown.
…The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has some pretty dreadful marketing material, if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t like trailers ruining things. They show the final shot of the movie in one of the trailers, so you’re kind of waiting for that to happen the whole movie, while a prominent death is alluded to and a villain you might not have expected to show up is revealed as being in the movie through the trailers. It’s messy, so you can’t piece together the entire movie or anything from the trailers, yet too many memorable shots and reveals were shown – or hinted at strongly – before the movie itself came out.

‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ (1991)
In The Terminator, a ruthless cyborg (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) is sent back in time to kill a woman who’s to give birth to the man who might well stop the machine uprising of the future. There’s also a man who’s sent back in time to protect her, and this is sort of repeated in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, only now, there have been two cyborgs sent back in time to kill the eventual savior of humanity while he’s still a boy.
If you went into this blind, having only seen The Terminator, you might be surprised when it’s revealed that Schwarzenegger isn’t actually the villain this time around, but that early twist was given away in the film’s final trailer. Since it takes place early on in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, it’s hard to say that the trailer here gave away everything, but it was probably the biggest surprise of the whole movie, so it’s a shame it likely wasn’t surprising to many (it would be like showing what happened in the shower scene in Psycho; not entirely movie-ruining, but definitely not helpful).

Ex-Pussycat Dolls Member Shares Why She’s Not in Reunion
Former Pussycat Dolls member Jessica Sutta is sharing her theory as to why she was not asked to join the group’s upcoming reunion.
“I was a liability,” Sutta, 43, claimed on the Sunday, March 22, episode of “The Mavericks Approach” podcast. “I align with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligning with MAGA. Do I love what [President Donald] Trump is doing? Absolutely not. I do not believe in war. [But] we didn’t have a chance for the [vaccine] injured community to get help without him.”
Sutta has been an outspoken supporter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the current U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, since his 2024 presidential run. (Kennedy, 72,, initially ran for the highest office in the land as a Democrat, before dropping out of the race and endorsing then-Republican candidate Trump, 79.)
The singer, who said she is dealing with a neurological condition, says she connected with Kennedy over their shared medical beliefs.
“People are screaming at me, ‘You’re MAGA, you’re MAGA.’ Yeah, I am,” she said. “I triple down on it because I’m like, I’m so sick of people telling me who I should be.”
On March 12, The Pussycat Dolls announced their official return to the global stage with their new PCD Forever tour. While former members Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt would be part of the projects, others — like Sutta — were not included.

“None of us were called. None of us were told about anything. In fact, we were blindsided,” Sutta claimed, before revealing she did get a phone call from Scherzinger, 47.
“I don’t plan to call her back. I love Nicole,” she continued. “This is very bittersweet for me. I respect her as an artist. I even cried with joy when she won her Tony [for Sunset Boulevard] just recently.”
Us Weekly has reached out to The Pussycat Dolls’ reps for comment on Sutta’s podcast interview.
During an appearance on the Today show, Scherzinger, Wyatt, 44, and Roberts, 44, were asked about the decision to tour as a group of three, not six. Sutta, as well as original members Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton, are not part of the tour, which kicks off in June.
“I mean, it has been an ever-changing lineup and you know, this is what it looks like now in 2026, and you never know what comes next,” Wyatt shared on Friday, March 20. “I think ultimately, we’ve got to protect our peace and when something like the Pussycat Dolls has so much history, we have ruptured in the past, and right now we are repairing, and we’re sort of on the same page with that.”

Unrated, Extremely Graphic Thriller Tries To Kill You But Can’t
By Robert Scucci
| Published

1978’s The Odd Job is a comedy of errors about a man who hires a janitor to kill him because he’s too much of a coward to end his own life. It’s a slapstick effort written by Graham Chapman that’s way funnier than its critical reputation suggests, and on one hand, I get it. It’s essentially the same gag repeated over and over again, with mixed results, landing if you’re a fan of the kind of irreverent humor that only somebody from the Monty Python comedy troupe could deliver with a wink and a nod.
Toying with a similar premise is 2014’s The Suicide Theory, which centers on a comparable setup but with wildly different results (namely, it’s not a comedy). In The Suicide Theory, we’re introduced to a contract killer hired by a man who no longer wants to live. The problem is that he’s given suicide the old college try on countless occasions leading up to this point and is convinced he’s invincible. While both films feature the same kind of contractual relationship in which one man wants to be eliminated from his mortal coil, The Suicide Theory is existentially heavy, focusing primarily on fate, free will, and how they’re constantly at odds with each other.
Steven And Percival’s Deadly Dynamic

The Suicide Theory wastes no time setting up its conflict when Steven (Steve Mouzakis) is tracked down by a desperate man named Percival (Leon Cain). Percival already looks worse for wear, with scars all over his face indicating that he wouldn’t be hiring a hitman if he hadn’t already tried to die, and failed miserably, countless times. Not even sure if Steven can successfully kill him, Percival hands over a large sum of cash and tells the killer that he doesn’t want to see it coming, and that since he believes he may be cursed, an attempt can only be made on his life if he looks legitimately happy.
Up to the challenge, but not one to believe Percival’s claims, Steven immediately shoots Percival in the chest three times upon making the arrangement, only for the man to wake up hours later in the hospital with no major injuries. Percival is further upset when he learns that the doctors found a massive tumor near one of the bullet wounds and were able to remove it while they were in there, meaning getting shot actually saved his life.

Fascinated by this project, Steven, who’s lost his passion for contract killing, keeps his promise and continues searching for new ways to execute Percival, none of which work. Steven, who’s been afraid of crossing streets ever since his wife was struck by a car and killed three years prior, can’t always chase Percival down due to his phobia, but has no qualms about hailing a taxi cab to help him cross the street if he needs to.
An Exploration Of Fate And Purpose
As we get to know the two principal players in The Suicide Theory, it becomes evident that they’re not so different. One man is a hardened, cold-hearted killer who’s lost his passion for the game, while the other is so deeply wounded that even multiple suicide attempts can’t put him out of his misery.

It’s almost as if he’s done something so horrible in life that his cosmic punishment is never being able to end it on his own terms. The two men become friends, if you could call it that, and come to realize they were supposed to meet each other, as if fate had been waiting for them. The reason their paths cross, when finally revealed, is the kind of gut punch that will make you wish you were watching The Odd Job instead, because it’s a brutal way to spend your time.
The Suicide Theory is not an easy watch, but it’s a rewarding one. It’s an exploration of fate and destiny taken to its most morbid conclusion, and it’s not without a dark sense of humor. It’s not “haha” funny by any stretch, but every time Percival wakes up in the hospital wondering how he made it out alive this time, you can’t help but sport a wry smile because he’s trying everything he can to not wake up ever again. Steven’s odyssey is all about finding purpose; he wants to hang up his gun for good, but knows this last job is an important one. But it’s up to you, dear reader, to figure out why.

The Suicide Theory is currently streaming for free on Tubi.
