Chase Stokes Leaps To Kelsea Ballerini’s Defense

Since unwilling trolls have decided to camp under the singer’s post to promote her new music and call the Netflix star various names, he has also chosen to use his voice for the right cause.

Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini are currently fanning the flames of rumors surrounding a romantic reunion two months after they split, which happened over his alleged jealous nature.

The actor was forced to write “These comments are f-cking weird. Grow up,” in response to trolls who camped up under Ballerini’s TikTok post with his name on their lips. In the video, Ballerini got in mogul mode while promoting a single, “People Pleaser,” off her newly released “Mount Pleasant” EP.

The singer transitioned from a plain look into a radiant strapless red dress paired with glossy red lips as she let her blonde, highlighted hair steal the show alongside her makeup.

She lip-synced to the lyrics from the track as some troublemakers got to work under the post and reportedly stormed the comments with pictures of the actor and his ex, Madelyn Cline.

The disruptors were apparently fans of “Outer Banks,” who had yet to get over the fact that Stokes moved on from Cline, who was his co-star in the series.

Well, there is little to wonder why Stokes came to Ballerini’s defense under that post, as sources very close to the couple admit that there is still lots of love between them, and it was easy to pick up from where they stopped.

Since their reunion, The Blast reported that the duo has spent time together in Edinburgh, Scotland, just two months after the split. The breakup was reportedly hard on both parties as they just could not get past the arguments, messy communication, and hectic work commitments.

The split was also amicable, although initiated by Ballerini, Stokes was reportedly very understanding of where they were at the time and agreed to the split. The singer was also still trying to heal from the remnants of her divorce from her ex-husband, which happened months before she met the Netflix actor.

In October, they also grabbed dinner at a restaurant where they had discussed their itinerary with Gemma Kennedy, including a planned holiday in Scotland before going to film in Croatia. They could not stop holding hands at the bar and were completely in love.

Two years ago, Ballerini described on a podcast that her manager had advised her to pursue a connection with Stokes if she was ready and even gave her his handle to begin the process.

She noted that the actor’s looks, which she and her manager both agreed was very enchanting, made connecting with him significantly easier. Ballerini described their relationship at the time as an evolving arrangement where they mostly challenged each other to be better in their respective fields.

According to her, these challenges were the oil that kept the wheels of the romance moving, as there was always something new to conquer, and something interesting to look forward to about each other. 

However, while Ballerini was comfortable giving bits and pieces about their romantic life to the media, the Netflix star preferred privacy and always avoided a culture of oversharing.

The media personality will never pass up the opportunity for a good clapback, especially if it means having fun while doing it. As noted by The Blast, she took to social media in the wake of her split from the actor back in September to issue a subtle warning to people who keep talking about her split from Stokes.

In the video, she addressed a caption to “speculators, ‘sources’, and hidden cameras outside the hair salon,” to kindly leave her and the actor alone. As if the caption was not enough, she used Ariana Grande’s “Shut Up” as the background music for the video while she enjoyed a drink.

The post was targeted at paparazzi and every other gossip blog who have made it a point to scrutinize her every move, including leaving a hair appointment in a Nashville salon.
