Actress Janel Parrish is dancing up a storm with Sasha Farber after her split from husband Chris Long.
In a clip posted via Farber’s Instagram on Thursday, April 9, the Pretty Little Liars alum, 37, appeared with the Dancing With the Stars pro, 41, as they danced in a parking lot.
“She’s still got it @janelparrish 🔥,” Farber captioned the Instagram video.
Parrish reshared the clip via her own Instagram Story, adding, “When you ask @sashafarber1 to teach you a dance in the parking lot.”
Parrish and Long have gone their separate ways after eight years of marriage, a source told Us Weekly on Thursday. The insider told Us the former couple have been separated for several months.
Earlier on Thursday, celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi shared photos of Parrish and Long cozying up inside Black Market Liquor Bar in Los Angeles’ Studio City.
The Hallmark star and Farber both appeared on season 19 of DWTS, which aired in 2014.
Competing against stars including eventual winner Alfonso Ribeiro and runner-up Sadie Robertson, Parrish was partnered with pro Val Chmerkovskiy. Meanwhile, Farber was part of the reality TV show’s dance troupe.
Us previously reached out to Parrish and Farber’s representatives for comment.

Parrish and Long began dating in September 2016, with the actress later revealing that the pair’s first date was at Dave & Buster’s.
“3 years ago today, I fell in love with you at Dave and Buster’s. Lucky me. 💕💕💕,” she wrote alongside a carousel of loved-up couple snaps posted via Instagram in September 2019.
In 2017, Parrish and Long announced their engagement after one year of dating.
“Went to the park for a stroll with Klee and came back with a fiancé,” Parrish wrote via Instagram at the time. “I get to marry my best friend and I’m over the moon. I love you @c_long.”
The duo went on to marry in Hawaii in September 2018. Some of Parrish’s former costars and colleagues, including Pretty Little Liar’s Brendan Robinson and I. Marlene King, as well as Bratz: The Movie costars Logan Browning and Natalia Ramos were among the guests at the wedding.
“We feel so lucky we found each other in this crazy world,” Parrish exclusively told Us of the nuptials at the time. “Marrying my dream man in my home of Hawaii surrounded by family and friends was a dream.”
Meanwhile, Farber was previously married to fellow DWTS pro Emma Slater from 2018 to 2024.
The divorced couple recently joked about their amicable relationship despite their marriage being over via a TikTok post in March.
In the clip shared by Slater, she can be seen sitting on a couch across from Farber. Farber mouthed “Your ex-husband is so attractive,” and then Slater responded, “But you’re my ex-husband.”
In the caption, Slater, 37, addressed criticism over their friendly post-divorce relationship.
“If you can’t handle that exes can be mature and can be friends, I’m sending you love and positive vibes but I also know it’s not my problem to solve,” she wrote. “Meant with love, I’ve just healed, moved on from that.”
Since the news of The Beatles’ break-up first officially broke in 1970, it has been framed as a definitive decision by Paul McCartney. While, yes, this is technically true, the reality was far less sudden, shaped instead by a series of cracks forming away from the spotlight. Before the public had the chance to catch on, each band member had already begun questioning their place within The Beatles.
Creative tension and the ludicrous pressures of fame pushed John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr to briefly walk away and even threaten to leave at various stages of the late 1960s. These uncomfortable moments were, unfortunately, not just heated arguments but signals of increasingly unbearable tension. So, when McCartney made it official, the idea of The Beatles breaking up was no longer unthinkable but, perhaps, inevitable.
Before any official break-up announcements were ever made, each of the Beatles’ members had actually walked away from the group at one stage, but always returned following their respective spats. Ringo Starr left for two weeks in the summer of 1968, but returned from his vacation with flowers on his drum kit as a peace offering that convinced him to stay. Like Ringo, George Harrison walked away from The Beatles for five days during the Get Back sessions in January 1969, when tensions were growing, and the group was being filmed for the Peter Jackson documentary. Harrison looked back at the difficulties, asking, “What’s the point of this? […] Everybody had gone through that. Ringo had left at one point. I know John wanted out. It was a very, very difficult, stressful time, and being filmed having a row as well was terrible. I got up, and I thought, ‘I’m not doing this anymore. I’m out of here.’” Harrison returned on the condition that The Beatles stop plans for live performance and that they move the recording to their new Apple basement studio.
The Beatles Said No to This George Harrison Song — Then It Became a Classic Hit
George Harrison brought this iconic song to a Beatles rehearsal and it was rejected.
Months later, in September 1969, John Lennon privately shared that he wanted to quit by saying he wanted to “divorce” The Beatles. This comment felt particularly weighty, as The Beatles’ output was, arguably unfairly, dependent on the writing partnership of Lennon and McCartney. So, the breakdown of such a creatively powerful duo looked like the beginning of the end. Lennon’s strained decision also aligned with the emergence of The Plastic Ono Band, which perhaps gave Lennon a sense of creative freedom he felt The Beatles no longer provided.
Shortly after Lennon’s desire for separation, McCartney echoed the sentiment in Life Magazine. He expressed a simultaneous nostalgic longing for the old days and a need to move forward: “I would rather do what I began by doing, which is making music. We make good music and we want to go on making good music. But the Beatle thing is over. It has been exploded, partly by what we have done, and partly by other people. We are individuals—all different.” McCartney acknowledged the immense tension between a group of such musically strong individuals and hinted at a struggle between egos as well. It’s also a touch of class and reassuring self-awareness that McCartney identified the enormous pressure caused by the interference of fame and how that could affect the well-being of young men.
What seemed to be the ultimate catalyst for the break-up of The Beatles was the final few months of grappling with Apple Records, the record label founded by the band in 1968. The appointment of business manager Allen Klein was strongly resisted by McCartney, who instead favored his own father-in-law for the position. After that, McCartney refused to attend meetings, clarifying that the feeling of friendship had dwindled along with business camaraderie. By then, one could imagine it would seem like a stretch to find creative catharsis when even mundane business matters felt tedious.
After Their Heartbreaking Split, Ringo Starr Managed to Reunite All Four Beatles on This Album
A surprising collaboration that sparked hope of a reunion.
McCartney’s official departure was covered in the Daily Mirror newspaper on April 10, 1970, as part of a self-interview. The breaking story was confirmed with McCartney’s exit statement: “I have no future plans to record or appear with the Beatles again or to write any more music with John.” In retrospect, it feels a little odd to know there was a definitive day on which the news was announced, quite a while after it had been bubbling for so long. However, it also makes total sense that McCartney was the one to do it. The other band members had already established solo projects throughout their Beatles careers (Lennon with the Plastic Ono Band, Ringo with films, and Harrison with production and solo material), so it was up to McCartney to officially close a door that was already shut. His announcement then marked the inevitability of his own eventual solo album, McCartney, the final mark of The Beatles’ dissolution.
In 1970, after the split, McCartney revealed that “Leaving the Beatles, or having the Beatles leave me, whichever way you look at it, was very difficult because that was my life’s job.” But there was no need for him to worry. Paul McCartney has gained 83 Grammy nominations and 19 wins, including nine with The Beatles, two with Wings, a collaboration with Nirvana, and two lifetime achievement awards. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the most No. 1 hits as a songwriter. The Beatles didn’t fall apart overnight after McCartney’s announcement, but it relieved some of the mounting pressure. By the time it was official, The Beatles had formed their own legacies, shaped their own identities, and continued to define music history in their unique ways.
Days after the arrests of Pooh Shiesty, his father, Big30 and six others, Gucci Mane is finally breaking his silence. Over the last two days, reports have confirmed that Gucci spoke with Dallas police on the evening of the incident, January 10. But die-hard Gucci fans weren’t sold on him “snitching.” But Gucci’s new diss record, ‘Crash Dummy,’ is telling it ALL.
While the internet debated how Gucci Mane would handle the criminal case against his artist, he was preparing to release ‘Crash Dummy.’ There’s no telling whether he recorded the diss record after this week’s arrests and failed bond hearing. However, he teased the track on Thursday, announcing its midnight release on April 10. The release marks exactly three months from the day he was allegedly held at gunpoint and robbed, on January 10. It’s also the first time Gucci has publicly spoken out about what happened, despite viral reports about what he told Dallas police after the alleged incident.
‘Crash Dummy’ is three minutes long, but goes in on Pooh Shiesty and Big30 from the jump. Though he doesn’t name them, here’s what he raps:
“Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy / And after all that, boy you still signed to me. I’m like Birdman and n*gga, this my Cash Money /And your fat a*s flunkie, he a stone cold junkie.”
As the verse continues, Gucci Mane gave his POV of what went down on January 10. He confirmed that he believed they had a business meeting, but “it was a setup.” Mane said they were dapping him up, but “plotting against” him the whole time. Still, he’s not taking it personal, he said. For me, it’s all business.
“What don’t kill you make you stronger, don’t bite the hand that feeds you. And my money keep getting longer now these haters got amnesia.”
A few seconds later, he talks about winning “stupid prizes” after playing “stupid games.” Adding that, “Some people like to take a n*gga kindness for weakness, I pulled up on business but y’all was on some weak sh*t.” Later, seemingly taking another shot at Pooh Shiesty and his dad, Lontrell Williams Sr., Gucci raps:
“You learn from ya daddy/ So I guess that it’s hereditary / I’m that same n***a who put money on your commissary.”
Gucci Mane clarifies that “this ain’t back in the day,” and that he’s not letting anyone destroy what he built, especially his 1017 label. He then bragged about being the CEO and signing the checks! “I done been betrayed now my heart turned cold,” he raps in the chorus. In the outro, he says: “CEO. 1017 for life. Big Gucci. This for all the crash dummies out there. I don’t know what the f**k you thought. Still getting money, this ain’t that.”

Brooklyn Beckham marked four years of marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham by reflecting on how they have “been through so much together.”
In a Thursday, April 9, Instagram Stories post, Brooklyn, 27, shared a picture of a bouquet of white roses he gifted his wife, which had a card attached to it.
“Dear Nicola, happy 4 year anniversary, baby,” the card reads. “I love you with all my heart … We have been through so much together and today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend. I can’t wait to grow old together with you … I love you so much. Love, Brooklyn.”
Brooklyn wrote over the image, “Happy anniversary @nicolaannepeltzbeckham x I love you with all my heart … can’t wait to stay young with you xx love you so so much.”
Brooklyn and Nicola, 31, tied the knot in April 2022 in Palm Beach, Florida, in a star-studded wedding ceremony and reception, which Brooklyn claimed was spoiled by his mother, Victoria Beckham, dancing “inappropriately” with him.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,” he alleged in a series of Instagram Stories posts in January detailing his rift with his family. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, [singer] Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”

In January, Brooklyn broke his silence on his falling out with his family, including mom Victoria, 51, and dad David Beckham, 50.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he alleged in part. “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn said, “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
Representatives for David and Victoria did not respond to Us Weekly’s requests for comment at the time.
As confirmed by Pooh Shiesty’s lawyer following the failed bond, an FBI agent testified in court about the criminal case. Journalist Bryson ‘Boom’ Paul set off a chain of reactions after he revealed on X what went down on the stand and how Pooh allegedly reacted.
Paul reported that FBI Agent Handson admitted that Gucci Mane spoke to Dallas police on the evening of January 10—the same day as the alleged kidnapping and robbery at Luminous Studios in Far North Dallas. For context, Handson did not write the criminal complaint; a four-year agent, Brittany Garcia, did. She was in the courtroom during the bond hearing, but did not testify.
Under oath, Handson reportedly testified that Gucci told officers he and his security team—reportedly made up of former Detroit Police Department officers—were outnumbered by armed individuals during the incident. He allegedly told his team,
“We’re outgunned,” after armed individuals allegedly pointed guns at him and pushed him onto a couch.
Meanwhile, courtroom eyes also turned toward Pooh Shiesty during the proceedings. Journalist Bryson Paul said Pooh rested his head against the courtroom wall and shook his left leg while defense attorney Bradford Cohen questioned the agent. Furthermore, he allegedly appeared to shake his “head in disbelief” as details about Gucci Mane’s alleged statement continued to be shared.

Folks ran straight to The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section, and you already know they had plenty to say. Some claimed the Gucci Mane from 10 years ago would’ve handled the situation very differently. Meanwhile, others questioned why people were acting weird about someone going to the police after allegedly being kidnapped.
One Instagram user @ms.skyami added, “Lean gut Gucci somewhere shaking his head at the way Gucci Pro max ruining his name“
This Instagram user @thecoreyshow claimed, “Bro had a whole ankle monitor on. He the statement“
And, Instagram user @prettygyal_berry added, “So if someone try to kill you , you not supposed to tell d police??? Weird flex 😂😂”
Meanwhile, Instagram user @themaniac_mcclainiac shared, “Gucci got a wife and kid pushing 50 now that man don’t gaf bout no street cred no Mo 😂😂”
While Instagram user @jeremy.evans831 said, “one thing bout the police is they can’t wait to rat you out 😂😂 ‘gucci mane gave a statement’”
Lastly, Instagram user @inkycheetah claimed, “If you kidnapped me, IT WAS HIM OFFICER! 👮🏼♂️”
The internet appears to be struggling to separate fiction from reality following a viral Vogue editorial featuring both Anna Wintour and Meryl Streep in the magazine’s May 2026 issue.
Wintour has long been considered the real-life inspiration behind Miranda Priestly in “The Devil Wears Prada,” the character portrayed by Streep in the 2006 film. For years, that connection existed at a distance: Wintour as the influential editor shaping the fashion industry, and Miranda as a cinematic interpretation of that power.
Now, fans say that the distance has narrowed.
By appearing together in a coordinated photoshoot and participating in the same editorial conversation, many on social media believe that Wintour and Streep have effectively aligned the real-life figure with the fictional character.
The May 2026 issue of Vogue features a joint editorial centered on Wintour and Streep.
The piece was written by Chloe Malle and photographed by Annie Leibovitz. It was executed at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York, where both women were brought together for the first time in this format.
For the visual portion of the feature, Wintour and Streep were styled in designer looks and photographed together across multiple setups, appearing side by side within the same editorial frames.
A recorded conversation also took place, led by filmmaker Greta Gerwig. During that exchange, Streep explained that she drew on Wintour when thinking about Miranda Priestly in “The Devil Wears Prada.”

Wintour and Streep’s Vogue feature arrives just ahead of “The Devil Wears Prada” sequel “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” which is scheduled to premiere on May 1, 2026.
The follow-up comes nearly two decades after the original film was released, with some fans suggesting that the line between fiction and reality has narrowed significantly in that time, if it still exists at all.
Reacting to the feature on Reddit, one user wrote, “This is cute, but I do find it deeply weird that Miranda is now perceived as a girlboss to the point where we’re all chill with Anna Wintour.”
Another commenter supported that view, adding, “Yeah, PR working as intended. ‘She enabled toxic work culture, but look at how cool she looks while doing it!’”

Amid the art-meets-life discourse surrounding the Vogue feature, older stories about Wintour’s reputation within the fashion industry have also resurfaced. These accounts describe a strict, hierarchical workplace environment at Condé Nast, where she serves as Global Chief Content Officer.
“My dad worked at Condé Nast, and one of the first things he was told upon being hired was you are not to get in the elevator if Anna is in it,” one commenter wrote on Reddit.
Similar claims were echoed by multiple other users on the platform, with some even drawing comparisons to “The Devil Wears Prada.”
“Isn’t there a scene in DWP where a model gets out of the lift for Miranda?” one user asked.
Another strong sentiment across social media centers on the difference between the original source material and its on-screen adaptation, particularly in how Streep’s portrayal of Miranda is perceived.
Some fans argued that aspects of the character’s harsher traits were softened in the film compared to the book.
“The movie was also more nuanced in its portrayal, I think, than the book,” one commenter said on Reddit. “The movie seems to actually care about what kind of person Miranda Priestly really is, beyond a devil.”

Not all fans were focused on the ever-blurring line between fiction and reality, however. Some purely zeroed in on the visuals, praising Streep for her appearance in the Vogue shoot alongside Wintour.
“Wintour sucks, Streep is gorg, no further comment,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
Another said, “Anna basically mannequin, lol. Meryl just radiating with so much charisma, it’s humbling.”
At the same time, a few commenters reflected on Wintour’s greater legacy, with one suggesting her standing might have been viewed differently had she chosen to step away from the industry earlier: “If she just retired like 10 years ago instead of being the Joe Biden of the fashion world, her legacy would be much different.”
Melissa McCarthy is once again fueling conversation online after a new video of the actress sparked fresh speculation about her noticeable weight loss. The viral clip, which has been making rounds on social media, shows Melissa McCarthy posing in a shimmering bronze-toned gown while smiling for cameras, with many viewers quick to comment on her slimmer appearance.
As the footage spread online, some social media users immediately began speculating whether the actress may have used Ozempic, the diabetes medication that has become widely associated with celebrity weight loss in recent years.
“I think she may have done it the old-fashioned way. She doesn’t have Ozempic face and was losing weight before Ozempic got popular,” one person wrote.
Another user praised McCarthy’s appearance, adding, “Good, much better!”
“You know what, good for her. She looks healthy,” someone else commented.
Others echoed similar sentiments, with one person writing, “She’s been losing weight over the years. She looks great & looks even better if she did it sensibly.”
“She looks good,” one supporter wrote, while another added, “She’s lost a lot of weight. She looks good.”

The renewed chatter comes after McCarthy was tied to Ozempic rumors in 2024, when legendary singer Barbra Streisand publicly asked whether the actress had taken the medication.
Under a now-deleted Instagram post featuring McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone, Streisand commented, “Give him my regards, did you take Ozempic?”
Though many fans viewed the remark as inappropriate, McCarthy brushed off the controversy and appeared amused by the interaction. “Barbara Streisand knows I exist. She reached out to me, and she thought I looked good. I win the day,” McCarthy said in a response video at the time.

Before Barbra Streisand’s viral Ozempic question, Melissa McCarthy’s changing appearance had already become a topic of conversation online.
Many fans first began to notice Melissa McCarthy’s dramatic transformation in February 2024, when she posted an Instagram photo alongside husband Ben Falcone, wearing a sparkly jumpsuit and sequined jacket. The glamorous snapshot quickly drew attention, with followers pointing out how noticeably slimmer the actress appeared.
While many praised McCarthy’s look, others immediately began speculating about how she achieved her transformation. One commenter bluntly wrote, “Ozempic has claimed another,” helping fuel the online rumors that have continued to follow the actress ever since.

McCarthy has also been open in the past about her approach to health and weight management, emphasizing balance over restriction.
Speaking in 2018 on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM, the actress reflected on how her mindset shifted after becoming a mother to daughters Vivian and Georgette. “Everybody’s always kind of working on something,” she said. “And I was like, ‘If I can de-stress and just do it slower and stop constantly trying to be on something.’”
She added that the less restrictive approach ultimately proved more effective for her than extreme dieting methods. “And then it actually worked better instead of being like, ‘I’m gonna not do this and do this and only drink this.’”

Melissa McCarthy has long spoken candidly about the pressures she has faced regarding her body, previously revealing that maintaining her health has always mattered more to her than meeting Hollywood’s standards.
In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, McCarthy reflected on how she used to worry about her size growing up, despite living an active lifestyle. “I thought I battled weight throughout high school, but I look back at pictures of me as a cheerleader, doing sprints, lifting weights, doing gymnastics, playing tennis, and while I wasn’t reed-thin like some girls… I was a size six the entire time. So what on Earth was I freaking out about?” she said.
The actress also stressed that her overall philosophy centers around balance rather than perfection. “I could eat healthier, I could drink less,” she added. “I’m sounding like a lush, but, you know, I do what I can. I should be learning another language and working out more,” she said. “But I’m just always saying, ‘Ah, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.’”

Forty-nine years ago, what would become one of the most influential forces in the science fiction genre was born, quickly evolving into a global pop culture phenomenon. Star Wars, created by George Lucas, is now one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time, spanning films, television series, books, video games, and more. The space opera began with the original 1977 film—later retitled Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope—which serves as the fourth chronological chapter in the Skywalker Saga.
Since then, a number of prequels and sequels have come to life across both the big and small screens, many of which have been well received, while others were ultimately cancelled. The latest of the bunch is Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, created by Dave Filoni for Disney+. The animated series premiered earlier this week on April 6, 2026, and is set after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which ran from 2008 to 2020. The show follows former Sith Lord Maul during the reign of the Galactic Empire, with Sam Witwer reprising his role from The Clone Wars and other Star Wars projects.
Upon its release, the new Star Wars series was an instant success, ranking among the most-watched series titles on Disney+ globally, including in the US. Maul – Shadow Lord entered the US charts as the 7th most popular title on April 7, 2026, but that quickly changed the next day as it rose to the top of the charts, a rank it still holds till now. Such a strong performance may come as no surprise to fans, considering that the sci-fi hit debuted to a perfect 100% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus describing it as “an inspired look into the depths of an iconic character.”
Centered on Maul, who plots to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord comprises ten episodes for Season 1, with two episodes released each week until May 4. In addition to Witwer, Gideon Adlon, Wagner Moura, and Richard Ayoade lend their voices to characters as interesting as the lead, or even more so. Speaking of which, in Collider’s review, Maggie Lovitt noted that the sci-fi adventure “does a good job of making the audience care quickly about each of the new characters, to the point that they become far more interesting than whatever is going on with Maul — and there is a lot going on with Maul.“
You can watch the latest Star Wars series on Disney+. Stay tuned to Collider for more information.
