OnlyFans creator Madi Ruve has turned a wave of online criticism into one of the biggest holiday charity surprises Southern California has seen this year.

The 22-year-old star stunned shoppers and store employees alike after spending more than $63,000 to buy out toy aisles at four Walmart locations.

What began as pushback against her critics quickly became a massive act of generosity for thousands of children.

For Madi Ruve, the inspiration behind her headline-making project came from people questioning her value beyond her online persona.

She admitted that negative commentary sparked her desire to act.

“If people want to say I’m a bad role model, fine,” she told The Blast. “But at the end of the day, I bought out four entire toy sections for kids who would have had nothing. That matters.”

Her “Not All Heroes Wear Clothes” holiday initiative took her and her team across Compton, Panorama City, Long Beach, and Van Nuys.

At every stop, they stacked carts high with dolls, board games, puzzles, LEGO sets, arts and crafts supplies, and remote-control toys, everything aimed at children ages 2 to 12.

“We didn’t cherry-pick. We cleared everything,” she said. “Every toy shelf, every item for kids ages 2 to 12, gone. In a good way.”

Store workers described the scene as surreal. One Walmart manager confirmed each location’s haul cost between $14,000 and $17,000, adding that some toy aisles had to be temporarily shut down to restock.

A staff member at the Compton store recalled the moment vividly. “It was surreal watching her walk in and just start piling up toys, she probably filled 10 carts,” the employee said. “Most people don’t do that. Not at this scale.”

Once purchased, the toys were handed over to local nonprofits, including foster programs, shelters, and community churches, to ensure they reached families who need them most.

Ruve emphasized her intentions were genuine. “This isn’t a stunt,” she said. “It’s about kids waking up to something they didn’t expect. It’s about joy.”

This major charity effort comes a year after Ruve found herself in the middle of a viral gym confrontation, where a man challenged her for filming a workout.

Some online commenters accused her of attention-seeking, but Ruve pushed back hard at the time.

“People love to judge,” she said. “But I’m using what I earn to help people. You don’t have to like how I make my money, but don’t ignore what I’m doing with it.”
