Pete Davidson’s Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt On Why She ‘Hated’ Being Pregnant
Pete Davidson’s girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, has opened up about why she “hated being pregnant” before the couple welcomed their daughter, Scottie, in December 2025.
“For the most part, I hated being pregnant. I was deeply uncomfortable,” Hewitt, 29, wrote in an essay for Elle that was published on Wednesday, February 2026. “I was constantly sick, exhausted, and in pain.”
Prior to Scottie’s birth, Hewitt shared with her social media followers in November 2025 that she was “in pain since the very beginning [of her pregnancy] and it [was] just getting worse and worse.” At the time, the model suspected that her struggle with endometriosis — a reproductive condition where tissue grows outside of the uterus — was “heavily linked” to her bout of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. (Hewitt underwent laparoscopic excision surgery shortly before getting pregnant.)
“Because of my prior reproductive health issues, I chose to be under the care of an OB-GYN rather than a midwife,” she wrote in her Elle essay. “It was the most clinical approach to pregnancy and birth — not one I loved — but one I felt I needed for my health and safety.”
She went on, “I found myself in yet another season of frustrating self-advocacy within a medical system that often fails to listen to women as carefully as it should.”
Elsewhere in the essay, Hewitt touched on why she chose not to breastfeed Scottie after giving the option some serious consideration.
“When people asked whether I planned to breastfeed, my thought process was layered,” she recalled. “The most important thing to me was doing what is best for my baby. I will always do what is best for her.”
She acknowledged that breastfeeding is often considered “the gold standard” since it “offers antibodies, unmatched nutrition and powerful bonding,” though there are significant complications that can arise for the mother. Hewitt pointed to the “physical” challenges for a new mom when adjusting to breastfeeding.
One alternative for mothers is feeding their newborn with formula, though Hewitt struggled with the general perception of using formula as “a safe alternative” when “something goes wrong.”

“I was aware, even before pregnancy, of the quiet shame attached to formula feeding,” she wrote. “It took some grappling with that shame, and some exploring of the moral hierarchy around breastfeeding, to affirm that what was best for me and what was best for my baby did not exist on different levels or rankings — they were one and the same.”
In the end, Hewitt felt it was important to consider her own “mental health” and “recovery” before deciding not to breastfeed.
“I feel fortunate not to have felt pressure to breastfeed from the people in my life. My partner didn’t push me in either direction,” she remembered. “My mother, who breastfed my sisters and me and was proud of that, made a point to tell me, simply, that the decision was entirely mine. She never said anything else, and her restraint meant a great deal to me. The OB-GYN and hospital staff didn’t try to persuade me either.”
Former Saturday Night Live star Davidson, 32, and Hewitt shared the happy news on December 18, 2025, that they’d welcomed their first baby.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025. scottie rose hewitt davidson,” they announced via Instagram at the time.
In that same Instagram post, Hewitt described Scottie as unquestionably her “best work yet.”
“I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” she beamed, with Davidson humorously adding, “Wu tang forever.”
In January, the couple exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that they were already thinking about having more kids.
“I want her to have a friend, for sure,” Davidson said. “We love the idea of her being a big sister.”
For her part, Hewitt admitted that her urge to have more children so soon after Scottie’s arrival was somewhat surprising.
“I didn’t think I would already think about having another one,” Hewitt told Us. “The idea of that sounds absolutely insane right now. … The process of giving birth is so insane, but so empowering once it happens. Just having this little thing, I really can’t explain how incredible the whole thing is.”
She added, “The idea of making another one and making a sibling is something I’ve already been like, ‘I want to do it again.’ They’re so tiny when they come out, and they grow so fast. It’s crazy.”
Hewitt and Davidson were first linked in March 2025 and announced that they were expecting their first child four months later.

22 Years Later, ‘Dune Part 3’ Has the Chance to Do Something That Hasn’t Been Done Since Lord of the Rings
The hype behind Dune: Part Three may be extreme, but it also happens to be warranted. Director Denis Villeneuve focused all his powers of filmmaking and became the Kwisatz Haderach of cinema with his sci-fi films. Both Dune: Part One and Part Two fire on all cylinders, and in 2026, the final entry of the franchise is looking to do the same. This could mean that Part Three might do the impossible and clinch the sought-after award that even Paul Thomas Anderson didn’t get until this year.
Franchise films rarely get recognized for Best Picture, especially when they are the last entry in a trilogy. The last time this happened was in 2003 when The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King swept that year. The final film in the trilogy earned Best Picture when the other films in the series hadn’t. Dune was a frontrunner for the award last time around but did not secure the accolade. Now it is Villeneuve’s last chance in the Dune saga to achieve what the series has been building toward.
‘Dune’ is a Timeless Story Practically Made for the Oscars
Like The Lord of the Rings before it, Dune uses its genre to tell a story that is more timely than ever. While the fantasy franchise tackled fascism, Dune is notable for its criticism of idol worship and religious zealotry. This is the type of story that never goes out of style, considering Frank Herbert first wrote it half a century ago.
Paul Maud’Dib Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) rises from a duke’s son to the greatest power in the universe. Burdened with the power of prescience, he becomes the very thing he meant to fight when he radicalizes an entire planet and becomes the supreme Emperor of the Imperium. Dune was a seminal novel that influenced the genre to such a degree that it inspired Star Wars and even George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire. The first two parts of the series were near-perfect depictions of sci-fi, but Dune: Part Three has a chance to drive the series home.
Adapted from Frank Herbert’s sequel, Dune Messiah, the third film will bring Paul’s story full circle as he comes to terms with the consequences of his actions. Part Three takes place 17 years after the previous film, when Paul first ordered his Fremen legions to bring the galaxy “to paradise.” In the new film, the Fremen are as fanatical as ever and have killed billions all in the name of Atreides.
Dune: Part Three looks to be a tour de force for Chalamet and the returning cast members. The conclusion of the trilogy will also bring Anya Taylor-Joy to the forefront as Alia Atreides, Paul’s eerie and mystical sister. Taylor-Joy appeared in all of one scene in Dune: Part Two, but will be central to Paul’s storyline in the new film.
Considered an “Abomination” because she was born fully sentient, Alia is arguably the only person who is 100% supportive of Paul. She is an incredible asset to his regime and just as dangerous as her older brother, which will be explored in the new film. With her acting prowess, Chalamet’s return to form, and Villeneuve’s mastery of film, Dune: Part Three should be a frontrunner in next year’s Academy Awards.

Dakota Johnson is so chic that even something as simple as her phone case can become a covetable item. Lucky for Us, this is an accessory that is also super affordable — we managed to find the exact same one she uses, and it’s as budget-friendly as they come.
The actress was recently spotted walking through Los Angeles, rocking a relaxed post-gym look while clutching her phone. Upon closer inspection, we were able to find the cover she used to protect her device: the $15 FireNova Magnetic Silicone Phone Case, which is a favorite among Amazon shoppers as well.
Get the FireNova Magnetic Silicone Phone Case for $15 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.
We love this phone case because it’s both cute and functional. Made of super durable silicone, it’s scratch-resistant, won’t crack easily and has a pleasantly smooth feel that is never slippery. There’s also a soft microfiber lining that ensures your phone stays damage-free underneath, even if you’re less than gentle with it. The design is compatible with MagSafe as well, so you can easily use it with magnetic attachments.
While Johnson’s color of choice — a deep plum shade that feels so on trend — is currently on sale, you can also choose between more than 25 other hues. The same style is available for iPhone models 13 through 17, including Pro and Pro Max sizes.
Aside from celebrity fans, the case is being hyped up by more than 26,000 five-star ratings from happy Amazon shoppers.
“I’ve ordered this case in multiple colors,” one shopper wrote. “My phone never cracks when I drop it and they don’t wear out with time.”
Plus, it even comes with some fun extras. “It came with an additional screen protector and cleaning/prep kit, stickers and a personalized note from the seller,” one reviewer noted.
For just $15, this sleek phone case is a steal. We love the minimalist look and the fact that the silicone wraps around everything, so every inch of the phone is protected. It also doesn’t make your phone feel heavier or bulkier, which is a nice bonus. If you’ve been on the hunt for a new iPhone case, this Johnson-approved pick is definitely worth trying.

Night Sweats? This Linen Bedding Set Is a Game-Changer
Us Weekly has affiliate partnerships. We receive compensation when you click on a link and make a purchase. Learn more!
Navigating perimenopause in the middle of Texas heat has made one thing painfully clear — sleep just doesn’t come the way it used to. Thankfully, I’ve discovered a few tricks for getting a decent night’s sleep, and the best one is a linen bed set that actually keeps me cool enough to keep dreaming all night long.
I’m a huge fan of Quince’s affordable‑luxury finds, from their cashmere sweaters to their everyday basics, but their linen bedding has become my new favorite home decor find. Whereas I was once sweating it out under layers that were either too heavy or too flimsy, this luxe duvet cover set has that oh-so-perfect softness and breathability that makes my whole bed feel like a sanctuary, not a sauna.
Get the European Linen Duvet Cover Set at Quince! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.
Far from being just a comfortable addition to my home, this European linen set is also a designer’s dream. I’ve been slowly refreshing my home decor in little ways the past few months, from light fixtures to ceiling fans and more, but this bedding upgrade has made the biggest visual impact in my home. I’ve seen similar linen sets from brands like Serena & Lily, Piglet in Bed and Restoration Hardware, but Quince has that same elevated, airy look and feel without costing hundreds and hundreds more.
Woven from 100% European flax, the breathable linen set is customizable depending on color, size and whether you want to add shams. Unlike those haphazard duvets that let your comforter slide around and bunch up (the worst!), this one comes with interior ties that make it easy to keep everything in place — even if you toss and turn all night, like me. It stays put, breathable and cool, which is more than I can say for most bedding I’ve tried in the Texas heat.
I’m partial to Quince’s gorgeous gingham bedding — especially the lavender — but the set also comes in solid shades like dusty mauve and oat, plus newly debuted on‑trend hues like butter yellow and rose. For the ultimate experience, you can even add their viral European linen sheets to your rotation.
Much like in my own household, this top‑selling bedding set has become a staple in many happy homes, with shoppers calling it ‘perfect for summer,’ ‘so soft,’ and ‘absolutely stunning.
“The quality is immediately noticeable—the linen feels soft, breathable, and has that perfect relaxed texture that makes the whole bed look effortlessly elevated,” one reviewer raved. “What really stood out to me is how comfortable it is. It keeps me cool at night without feeling too light, and it somehow gets even softer with each wash.”
Whether you’re desperate for a nighttime cool‑down or just craving that effortless-but-affordable designer look, this breathable, beautiful linen set delivers both — no major renovation required. Shop the duvet set now while your favorite color or print is still in stock.

Dolores Catania’s Daughter Gabby Is Engaged to Boyfriend
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania’s daughter, Gabby Catania, and her boyfriend, Mike Tallia, are officially engaged.
Taking to her Instagram on Friday, March 20, Dolores confirmed daughter’s happy news by sharing a photo of the romantic proposal.
The carousel of photos showed Tallia getting down on one knee to present a ring to Gabby during a snowboarding vacation in Aspen.
“When your children are little, you think about so many things for their future. I never imagined both of my kids would be engaged at the same time,” Dolores captioned the post, adding, “Congratulations to my @gcatans & @mike_tallia!!! 💍🤍”
Dolores, 55, shares Gabby, 30, and her brother, Frankie, 27, with ex-husband Frank Catania, whom she was married to from 1994 to 1998.
Gabby is the latest member of the family to get engaged. Frankie previously proposed to his girlfriend, Nicole Perricho, in February 2025.
“Can’t find the words to depict how much joy we are all feeling since yesterday,” Dolores captioned Instagram photos of the proposal at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. “My little Frankie, with a heart full of love and a lifetime of memories ahead of him, proposed to his amazing girlfriend, Nicole, and we couldn’t be happier!!”
“Thank you to everyone that helped and made this day absolute perfection,” she added. “Here’s to forever, Frankie and Nicole!”

Dolores also revealed that she was hiding out in plain sight ahead of the proposal.
“Me incognito waiting for the proposal,” she wrote via her Instagram Story, sharing a video of herself outside the church wearing oversized sunglasses and a face mask.
Frankie, for his part, gushed via Instagram at the time: “An absolutely amazing day celebrating such a special engagement! Thank you so much to everyone for the congratulations and warm wishes!”
Less than nine months later, Dolores announced her own engagement to boyfriend Paulie Connell in November 2025 after nearly five years of dating.
“I’m ecstatic!” she told People at the time. “You know when you feel that happiness down in your gut? That’s where this excitement stems from for me. I feel so blessed, I almost feel guilty! Like I don’t deserve to be loved this way.”
Paulie chimed in to assure Dolores deserves “so much more” than she thinks.
“She’s an incredible woman,” he continued. “And when I was proposing to her, I was able to articulate to her everything I see that she is and everything I see that she does and the impact she has on everybody around her. She’s one in a million.”
Paulie popped the question at the New Jersey Apple Store where the pair first met.
“I didn’t want anything over-the-top and staged because we’re a humble couple,” he explained. “I wanted it to feel grounded and natural and organic. Plus, I wanted the element of surprise. And believe me, I had the element of surprise.”
Dolores confirmed she “had not a clue” Paulie planned to get down on one knee.
“In fact, I thought I was going to have to call an ambulance for him!” she joked. “He was sweating so bad, his T-shirt was soaked, his face was beet red. And you know how people say weird things when they’re having a stroke? He started saying these sweet, beautiful things to me out of nowhere, and I was like, ‘Paul, are you OK?’”

Righteous Gemstones’ Tony Cavalero, Wife Welcome 1st Baby
Life just got a little rowdier for The Righteous Gemstones and DMV star Tony Cavalero and wife Annie Cavalero after welcoming their first baby.
Us Weekly can exclusively reveal that the couple’s first child arrived earlier this month.
“Actor Tony and jewelry designer wife Annie Cavalero are overjoyed to announce the birth of their first child, a son, Rowdy Baria Cavalero, born on March 11, 2026, at 9:39 p.m.,” a rep for the new parents told Us in an exclusive statement on Friday, March 20.
Rowdy weighed 8.4 pounds and measured 20 inches long.
Tony, 42, and Annie, 40 — who met while performing at The Groundlings in Los Angeles — welcomed their son “after a deeply personal journey spanning nearly a decade, including nine rounds of IVF.”

“Following a brief but brave stay in the NICU, he is now home in his parents’ arms already living up to his strong and spirited name,” Tony and Annie confirmed to Us, adding, “In a full-circle moment, Tony and Annie manifested his name, Rowdy Bear, eleven years ago at their wedding.”
When Tony and Annie tied the knot in 2015, they posed in a photo booth photo with a large sign that read, “Rowdy,” foreshadowing their choice for their baby boy’s moniker.
Both Tony and Annie are comedic actors, with Annie also working as a jewelry designer and comedy writer.

Tony, meanwhile, is best known for playing Keefe Chambers on The Righteous Gemstones from 2019 to 2025. He has been playing Vic on DMV since last year.
In August 2025, the couple celebrated their 10-year anniversary with Tony sharing a video montage of their life together via Instagram.
“💛10 years my love 💖Let’s keep being silly little geese and do 100 more and beyond! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY @anniecavalero 🫶 Honestly the luckiest man in the world!,” he captioned the video.
That same year, Tony and Annie took fans inside their Hollywood Hills home in Los Angeles for House Beautiful.

“We wanted to restore it to its Hollywood Regency glory as best we could, while incorporating our own personal touches and tastes,” Annie told the outlet of their six-bedroom, five-bathroom pad, which features bold wallpaper and bright colors.
Tony gushed, “Annie’s everywhere in the house,” from the crystals her grandfather found to her late uncle’s chandelier hanging in the hallway.

While the pair were open about their home, they chose to keep their pregnancy journey private. Shortly after welcoming their son, Tony took to social media to celebrate his wife on her birthday.
“Happiest Birthday to MY ABSOLUTE WARRIOR QUEEN 👸🏼 @anniecavalero,” the Big City Greens alum wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, March 17. “🫶 you are my whole heart and a gift 💝 to us all!”

Star Wars Icon’s 12-Year-Old Thriller Is About To Leave Streaming
Free streaming windows rarely stay open for long on ad-supported platforms, and one of the “catch it while you can” thriller films, a gritty, Australia-set crime thriller headlined by Star Wars icon Ewan McGregor that’s currently sitting on Tubi, is set to leave the platform soon.
The film’s placement in the leaving carousel on Tubi soon indicates that the title will rotate out at the end of the month, making this a short, practical watch window for anyone who likes tight prison-to-heist thrillers and wants a McGregor performance that isn’t filtered through Jedi iconography. What makes the film worth the last-chance urgency is the specific mix: it starts as a prison survival story (JR, a teen offender, trying to stay alive and relevant), then pivots into a mentorship trap as McGregor’s criminal protector demands repayment. It’s a familiar genre chassis, but the execution is sharper than its forgotten status suggests. Rotten Tomatoes has it at 63% from critics and 62% from audiences, with consensus praise for its grittiness, style, and as a strong change of pace for McGregor.
The movie is 2014’s Son of a Gun, and the irony is that it’s far more of a hidden gem than its cast deserves. The film reportedly cost about $12 million yet only grossed around $660K, which explains why many people never even heard of it the first time. That commercial whiff is exactly why a free Tubi run matters.
Lights, Camera, Retraction — The Collider Movie Quiz!
Sometimes actors quit; other times they’re fired. On this first day of spring, we’re recalling some famous roles that got a fresh start with a recast.
‘Son of a Gun’ Is a Thriller But Not a Traditional Heist Film
Son of a Gun isn’t a traditional heist film because the score is never the point; it’s leverage. The movie is structured like a corruption story disguised as a crime thriller. JR doesn’t join a crew to chase money; he gets pulled into a criminal ecosystem where every favor is a hook, and every plan is a test of obedience.
Even when the narrative shifts to break-ins and robberies, the camera treats the action as a consequence of a relationship, mentor/protégé, captor/captive, rather than a puzzle to be solved. Where a classic heist sells competence and control, Son of a Gun sells instability, paranoia, and the slow realization that the real threat is the man offering protection.
Son of a Gun is set to leave Tubi soon. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
