‘Scrubs’ Stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke Explain Why the Revival Needed “Resetting”
[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers for the premiere of Scrubs.]The 30-minute ABC revival series Scrubs sees Dr. John “J.D.” Dorian (Zach Braff) and Dr. Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) back at work together, their bromance as strong as ever. While certain aspects of life at Sacred Heart Hospital are the same, including familiar faces that will pop up throughout the season, changes in relationship dynamics make their bonds even more crucial. Trying to find a new normal with Dr. Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke) is uncharted waters for J.D., who’s trying to figure out the best way to mentor a new generation of interns while still caring about the patients, often stuck having to deal with the not-so-funny realities of healthcare.
During this interview with Collider, co-stars Braff, Faison and Chalke, who are clearly good friends in real life, discussed whether we’ll see that taxidermied golden retriever Rowdy make a return this season, what was most important in getting them to come back after wrapping the series more than 15 years ago, when the Scrubs comeback finally felt real, whether Braff has run into anyone in real life who has him tattooed on their body (like J.D. comes across in the season premiere), that Faison is not experiencing the same physical limitations that Turk is, the evolving dynamic between J.D. and Elliot, why Turk and Carla (Judy Reyes) are the cutest couple onTV, and how much fun they’re having working with the new cast members.
Will Rowdy, the Stuffed Dog, Make a Comeback on ‘Scrubs’?
“There’s a lot of mystery around Rowdy.”
Collider: I appreciate you talking to me about this. It’s so fun to watch you all back as these characters. When you guys found out the show was returning, Zach and Donald, how soon did you wonder whether you would see Rowdy again, as well as what happened to Rowdy? Was that the first question that you had?
DONALD FAISON: I miss Rowdy, and I miss Steven.
ZACH BRAFF: There’s a lot of mystery around Rowdy. This is a recreation of Rowdy. I’m giving you the exclusive because Rowdy is a bit injured. Your taxidermied golden retriever will only last so many years these days, even if you keep him in the Disney vault. Think of Raiders of the Lost Ark at the end. That’s where Rowdy is kept, in a crate at the back. But we have a new Rowdy, and he’s ready to go for as many years as needed.
Were there any other really important pressing questions that you guys had before agreeing to do this again?
BRAFF: It was just resetting the tone with (creator) Bill [Lawrence], having Bill be such a part of this. This was Bill’s idea. This is Bill’s vision. This was from a singular creator’s mind. So, I think it was just really making sure Bill, even though he couldn’t run the show day to day because of his other commitments, was a big part of coming up with what the tone was going to be. There was a big conversation about resetting it back to the reality that we really played in the early seasons, and what would the rules be of this revival.
FAISON: When everybody said they were coming back, that’s when it felt real. I think that was the most necessary thing to have, in some form, the OG cast back. And we’ve done that, for the most part.
Did you all know immediately that you were all on board, or was there one that nobody could get ahold of, for whatever reason, so you didn’t know what was going to happen?
FAISON: I dare that person to even admit if that did happen.
SARAH CHALKE: We all still hang out.
BRAFF: We’re all friends.
FAISON: That would be the craziest thing ever. “Listen, we’re gonna do it, but Johnny’s holding out, bro. Somebody’s got call Johnny.”
I just meant if someone was on vacation, out of reception. Not that one of you was holding out on the others.
BRAFF: It was a very long process to get this going, so it wasn’t an overnight thing.
CHALKE: Yeah, we talked about it for a couple of years leading up to it.
The medical comedy doesn’t hit with every joke, but the revival retains the heart of the original.
Zach, there’s a moment in the season premiere when a nurse asks J.D. to sign her tattoo of him. Have you ever come across someone that’s had you tattooed on their body?
BRAFF: Oh, yeah. A lot.
(Thinking he was kidding) What do you think your reaction would be, if you were ever faced with that personally?
BRAFF: No, it’s happened a bunch. In fact, I once ran into a gal in New Mexico who had a tattoo of me. And then, she said, “Will you sign it?,” and I signed it with Sharpie. And when she came back to the same coffee shop where I was, she had had my signature tattooed on her. And that person’s name was Sarah Chalke.
CHALKE: (Laughs) Would you like to see it?
BRAFF: There are crazy tattoos out there.
FAISON: There are tattoos that don’t even look like us, but they’re supposed to be us.
CHALKE: Tattoos of the two of you guys together?
FAISON and BRAFF: (Simultaneously) Yeah.
FAISON: There are a lot of Eagling tattoos.
BRAFF: You can Google them. Google Scrubs tattoo images. There are some crazy ones. We love it.
I will be doing that as soon as this interview is over. I love that J.D. and Turk’s onscreen reunion is a reminder of their friendship, but also of how many years have passed since we saw them. Are you guys realizing that there are at least some physical limitations to their friendship now?
FAISON: I think Turk and J.D. are realizing that. I want to put it out there that I am still a very fit young man. I might be 51, but your boy can still squat 250 and bench 120. I don’t know, whatever the heavyweight is, I’ve still got that.
BRAFF: Benching 120 is, I don’t think, a big brag.
FAISON: Can you do 185?
BRAFF: I don’t know. I haven’t looked. Donald wants the world to know that even though Turk can’t carry a 165-pound man, Donald Faison can.
FAISON: I am still fit.
Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke Are Having Fun Navigating the New ‘Scrubs’ Dynamic Between J.D. and Elliot
“I think it was a really good jumping off point.”
I will make note of that. Zach and Sarah, to get into spoilers, we learn from J.D. and Elliot that their marriage didn’t last and that they’re trying to navigate post-divorce life. How does their relationship affect and shape things for them this season? What was it like to explore this new relationship for them?
CHALKE: It was so fun, in their original one, to play that they’re together, they’re not, now they’re breaking up, now they’re getting married. We had so much fun doing it the first time around. So, I was really excited to hear that we were starting off divorced and not just happily married, because there’s not a lot of comedy and drama that comes out of them just being okay and fine and happy. I think it was a really good jumping off point. Even in this first nine episodes, we got to explore what that’s like for them to co-parent and work together. Do they try to start dating other people? It was a super fun dynamic to play around with, and I hope we get to do more of that.
Zach Braff Says the ‘Scrubs’ Reboot Will Feature a “Beaten-Down” J.D.
“It’s very, very hard to be a doctor today.”
Zach, how does J.D. feel about the status of their relationship?
BRAFF: Spoiler, but we learn that she was the one who ended it.
FAISON: Yep.
BRAFF: So, I think that we can infer that on-again, off-again bickering that was a part of their existence persisted through the marriage. Whereas J.D. still wanted to work on it and go to couples counseling and do stuff, eventually Elliot just pulled the ripcord and called it. I think J.D. understands but is dealing with it. They’re learning to co-parent. Now, they have to learn to work together. He has to learn what it’s like to see her flirting with a handsome doctor at the end of the hallway. It’s going to be tricky for them.
FAISON: I feel like it hurt him a lot, actually, when she called it, because he’s definitely doing some things around the hospital to make her life just a little bit more difficult.
BRAFF: There was a beat that was actually cut out of the pilot where you saw a flash of Elliot dropping off their son for the joint custody, for his turn, and she sees him through the window and she sees how sad he is, sitting there alone, and she really clocks it. And then, when he answers the door, he switches to a smile to act like he’s fine. It was very telling. We had to cut for time, but it was a very telling moment.
Donald Faison Believes ‘Scrubs’ Turk and Carla Are the Cutest Couple in TV History
“It’s important that Turk and Carla are together.”
Donald, I also love that we get to see Carla and Turk at home with their daughters. Are you hoping we’ll get to see more of that?
FAISON: That’s a great storyline. When Judy [Reyes] said she was coming back, because she’s on the number one television show in America, on broadcast television … I don’t know if you knew that, but she is.
CHALKE: High Potential.
FAISON: The fear, at first, was like, “Well, is Judy coming back?,” because there’s so much great story to tell about Turk and Carla. And when she said yes, she was, it just made it great. And then, when we went and had meetings with the writers, and they said we have four daughters, it made it even better because that’s just so much to play with. I think it’s important that Turk and Carla are together. They’re the cutest couple ever in the history of television. And so, because of that, they’re the best couple in the history of television.
BRAFF: What about Lucy and Desi?
FAISON: Yeah, you know, it’s cute, but it ain’t Turk and Carla.
BRAFF: Sam and Diane?
FAISON: Not even close. They didn’t last. You can even go Brady. We’ve got them beat. The only cuter couple on television is Turk and J.D. I think it’s important to show that love can last, and it should be seen on television. I think everybody should be able to see love at its finest, and that’s what you get with Turk and Carla.
‘Scrubs’ Reboot Adds a Broadway Star and a Comedy Legend to Star-Studded Cast [Exclusive]
The follow-up series is set to premiere early next year.
I already love Joel Kim Booster on the show and how much he’s already trying to stir up trouble for J.D., specifically. What will we continue to see from him? What do you guys love about what he’s bringing to the show? It must be scary to jump into something like this and figure out what to do.
BRAFF: Yeah. You have to figure out new antagonists for J.D., and Joel Kim Booster is doing a great job at that. He’s very funny. There are two lines that are in the pilot that he improvised. He brings a lot of improvisation and comedy. He’s just one of the people that are going to be pushing J.D.’s buttons. He’s after his job, and he wants to topple him.
FAISON: You bring up a great point: all the new people are fearless and so wonderful to work with. From the new interns to our guest stars, from Vanessa [Bayer] to Joel to Phill Lewis to Rob Maschio, it’s great to go to work and work with people that are committed to doing something that they’ve seen in the past and want to be a part of.
Because they don’t want to screw it up. They want to do it justice too.
BRAFF: But it is a lot of pressure. You’re right. They’ve got to come in and perform and hit the ground running. Vanessa Bayer is a perfect example. She came into a show with all these people who know each other, and right off the bat is having us belly laugh with every single thing she says. You’ve got to show up and hit the ground running.
CHALKE: The way she delivers a line of dialogue, you’ll read it in the script, and then she says it, and I could not get through one of the takes in one scene we did. She’s so funny. She does it different, every time. It’s so fun to work with her.
BRAFF: When we saw the gag reel with you not being able to get through it, it made me wish I’d put that version in the show because that’s not what’s in the show – her singing “Ave Maria.”
CHALKE: I was like, “Sarah, the crew all wants to go home. They have families. Think of terrible things.” And then, she would open her mouth and sing.
BRAFF: Sarah has these tricks to not laugh when she doesn’t ruin a take, and none of those tricks were working.
CHALKE: None of those tricks were working. Sometimes I have to ask our boss to come in and just glare at me and give me a stern look. And then, I’m like, “Okay, okay.” That didn’t even work.

Inside Heath Ledger Daughter Matilda’s Life Away From Fame
Nearly two decades after the death of Heath Ledger, the spotlight that once surrounded him has largely faded from one person’s life: his daughter, Matilda.
Despite being born into Hollywood fame, the 20-year-old has grown up far from the chaos typically associated with celebrity families.
Living quietly in New York and rarely seen in public, Matilda has built a life that feels intentionally normal, shaped by privacy, close family ties, and a path that looks very different from the industry her parents once dominated.
Heath Ledger’s Daughter Matilda Lives A Quiet Life Away From Fame

Heath Ledger’s daughter has managed something rare, growing up largely out of public view despite her famous background.
Now 20, Matilda lives in Brooklyn Heights with her mother, Michelle Williams, in a multi-million-dollar townhouse, but her daily life remains surprisingly low-key.
Those close to her describe someone who enjoys simple routines, spending time with friends, and exploring her neighborhood.
She’s often out grabbing coffee or trying new restaurants, earning a reputation as a “foodie,” while also being deeply immersed in books, sometimes reading multiple in a day.
Rather than embracing a high-profile lifestyle, she has leaned into anonymity. A source told the Daily Mail that her lifestyle reflects years of careful protection, saying, “Matilda has been protected by her mom for so long that she lives as normal and natural of a situation as possible.”
That sense of normalcy is something she values deeply, choosing authenticity over visibility.
Ledger And Michelle Williams’ Early Decisions Shaped Matilda’s Upbringing

Matilda’s life today is closely tied to the choices made by her parents early on. Heath Ledger and Williams met in 2004 while filming Brokeback Mountain, quickly forming a relationship that led to Matilda’s birth the following year.
After their separation in 2007 and Ledger’s death in 2008, Williams made a major change to protect her daughter from public attention.
She relocated them to a quieter, rural setting in upstate New York, focusing on creating stability away from media scrutiny.
Reflecting on that time, Williams described a childhood centered on freedom and exploration, recalling to Vanity Fair, “[It was] getting on a bicycle and being out and coming back for meals… and having that sense of freedom and safety in the world.”
That period helped shape Matilda’s perspective, reinforcing a lifestyle centered on privacy and simplicity rather than public attention.
The pair eventually returned to New York City years later, but that early foundation continues to influence how Matilda approaches life today.
Heath Ledger’s Daughter Matilda Is Exploring Her Own Future Path

While many celebrity children follow their parents into entertainment, Matilda appears to be taking a different route. According to sources, she has no interest in entering the entertainment industry.
“She still is trying to figure out what she would like to do for a career,” a source shared, adding, “But it isn’t going to be acting. She wants to leave that to her mom.”
Instead, she is still figuring out what direction to take, with a strong interest in animals shaping many of her potential plans.
Those close to her say she enjoys being around animals and could thrive in an environment that allows her to work closely with them.
There are also hints that she may share some of her father’s talents. Heath Ledger was known for his skill in chess, and Matilda reportedly developed an early interest in the game as well.
Ledger’s Daughter Matilda Maintains Strong Ties To His Family

Even with her life based in the United States, Matilda remains closely connected to Heath Ledger’s side of the family in Australia.
She keeps in regular contact with his parents and sister, maintaining a relationship that continues to honor her father’s memory.
“She is very close with Heath’s family and is eager to visit them and vice versa as often as possible,” a source revealed.
Those connections go beyond occasional conversations. Sources say she frequently checks in with them, staying updated on family matters and maintaining consistent communication across continents.
There are also plans being considered for the future. “She is very interested in going to Australia to study but also to experience life out there,” the insider added, noting that she may spend time abroad after taking a gap year.
Despite living in New York, that link to her father’s roots remains an important part of her identity, and it continues to influence the decisions she is making about her future.
Heath Ledger’s Legacy Continues To Shape Matilda’s Life Today

Matilda’s life is also shaped by what she inherited from her father, not just emotionally, but materially.
Following Ledger’s death, his entire estate was transferred to her, ensuring she would carry forward what he left behind.
She is also set to receive personal items tied to his legacy, including his Oscar for “The Dark Knight,” which had been placed in a museum with plans to return it to her.
At home, her life continues to evolve as part of a growing family. She lives with her mother, stepfather Thomas Kail, and several younger siblings, including a new addition welcomed via surrogate.
“The family keeps things very secretive, very tight knit, but one thing is for sure, Matilda is excited for her mom and Thomas,” the insider said.
Even though she was only two when Heath Ledger passed away, his presence still resonates. “She was only two when Heath passed away but she still feels his presence and love,” the source explained. “She knows he was a very special person and is proud that he is her father.”

Upcoming Firefly Reboot Will Feature Weird Animation And Activist Showrunners, Fans Divided
By Jennifer Asencio
| Published

The announcement of a new Firefly season at AwesomeCon on March 15, 2026, was eagerly anticipated by fans of the show. When Firefly was canceled in 2002, it was abrupt and even traumatic because we had all quickly grown attached to the quirky crew of the Serenity. The movie, named after the smuggling starship, delivered both excitement and heartbreak, giving fans what we all thought was one last look at Malcolm Reynolds and his associates. So when lead actor Nathan Fillion started teasing a cast reunion, Browncoats took notice.
On the surface, the cast announcement, made via Zoom, sounds awesome. There’s a new season in development and it’s going to be animated. It’s going to take place between the end of the single television season and the movie. This means Alan Tudyk’s wisecracking Wash is still alive, and also that Shepherd Book, previously played by deceased actor Ron Glass, can be taken “out to the black” and live on.
Same Cast, Different Style

Some fans are happy because the rest of the cast is reuniting for this project and finally answering their hopes. An animated version also avoids trying to explain why the characters look older than they did in the Serenity movie, while providing the fan service we’ve all been asking for.
The animation is being produced by award-winning studio ShadowMachine, which also inked BoJack Horseman, Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar-winning Pinocchio, the vanished Final Space, and a fair portion of Adult Swim’s content, including Robot Chicken. The animation style isn’t to everyone’s taste, though. Some people, beyond just those who only wanted something live action, aren’t warming up to the artistic concepts shared so far.
Still Looking For A Proper Platform

Another source of dissatisfaction is that the show doesn’t actually have a home. It has almost everything else it needs: a studio, a returning cast, and creator Joss Whedon’s blessing, but no streamer or network. The cast announcement struck some viewers as begging for help, and others as a false promise, since a show without a network is no good to fans.
The biggest red flags about the show for some fans have surrounded the show runners, both past and present. Whedon may have given his blessing, but he is not involved. Many believe that he is the heart of the show’s tone and humor, and that it wouldn’t be the same without his involvement.
Fans Approach With Guarded Enthusiasm

This has been amplified for a lot of viewers by the involvement of Marc Guggenheim and wife Tracy Butters, both alums of superhero shows but also outspoken activists. Guggenheim, responsible for the CW Arrowverse, has never shied away from using Arrow or Legends of Tomorrow to make political statements favoring specific talking points, and has already been noted for attacking Firefly fans who voted for President Trump. Such fans are concerned that yet another beloved property they enjoy will be used to attack and scold them with political messaging rather than good storytelling.
Every fandom has its slop eaters who will eat up a show, no matter how bad, just because it exists and bears the name of their favorite franchise. The Firefly fandom has hope that the combination of the cast reuniting and the show being animated compensates for its physical limitations. But a lot of fans, who have spent the past decade being burned by bad reboots, sequels, and spinoffs from their favorite franchise, are wary that Firefly is about to do it again.

Uma Thurman Reveals One Hollywood Wish She Never Got
Uma Thurman is looking back on a prime desire she never saw come to reality.
The iconic actress spent time recollecting her days in the industry, noting decisions that helped shape her career over the years. While building a top industry status, she focused on raising her three children and trying to build a family with her previous partners.
Uma Thurman raves about how proud she is of her kids and their achievements. Her older two, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Ethan Hawke, have walked in their mom’s footsteps, making a name in Hollywood.
Uma Thurman Never Got The Chance To Live In Hollywood

Thurman keeps fans up to speed with the happenings in her life, both personal and professional, as she chatted in a recent interview. She shared how life was very different for her growing up and the phases she went through before and after her big break in the industry.
Her star role in “Kill Bill” in 2003 propelled her career as an actor to greater heights, winning her nine individual awards amid several nominations. The actress’s achievements came without the conventional move to Los Angeles, and although she wished she had planted solid roots in the city, she ultimately chose family.
The stakes were high as she had successfully built an A-list career and become an action star without possibly having a deeper connection to the industry. She told InStyle during the cover interview, “I actually always wished I had moved to Los Angeles.” She stayed in New York instead, shuffled back and forth to L.A. for work, and perhaps relatedly never felt fully at home in Hollywood.
Why Thurman’s Wish Never Came True

The star revealed that with her rise to fame, she nearly moved fully to California, but a personal change stopped her in her tracks. In her words, “I even got an apartment there at one point because I was working there really frequently, and as soon as I signed the lease, I got pregnant with my daughter within, like, six weeks.”
Ultimately, she had to choose between Hollywood and family, and she chose the latter. Her decision, although practical, came at a cost that still nags at her as she had to pay out months of rent. The other downside was the effect that not residing in L.A. had on her career. “I never did time in Los Angeles, and because of that, I kind of never integrated into the community of my own profession, and I think that’s too bad,” the A-list actress said.
She spent those years building connections and a community with other moms at pickup on 16th Street and Rutherford Place rather than in Hollywood circles. Even though she stressed that she does not regret her decision as happiness was more important, Thurman said, “I wish I’d had that chapter. I think I really would have liked it.”
The ‘Kill Bill’ Star Has Built A Bloodline Of Stars

Thurman’s success extends to the children and family she gave up her wishes for. She married Ethan Hawke in 1998, whom she met the previous year while on set for “Gattaca.” The pair welcomed two children, Maya and Levon, while they were together before finalizing their divorce in 2005. The star previously told PEOPLE:
“I’m madly in love with all of my children and very proud of them. I think they conduct themselves with a lot of dignity and respect for others. It’s all a parent could dream of.”
Maya has followed her mother’s footsteps, building a career in Hollywood after landing her breakout role as Robin Buckley in the third season of the hit series “Stranger Things.” In addition to these, she is a singer-songwriter too. Before pursuing acting, Maya started off as a teen model, where she worked with a number of brands such as AllSaints and Calvin Klein.
The 27-year-old collaborated with designers such as Zac Posen and has also appeared in various fashion publications such as Vogue. Levon also has an interest in fashion, like his sister, and has pursued a career in acting, too. His on-screen debut was for a role in “Blackout,” which aired in 2018. He was also an extra in season four of “Stranger Things.”
The Award-Winning Actress Had Reservations About Maya Joining The Industry

Like every other parent, Thurman had fears about her children’s future. Seeing her daughter had chosen the Hollywood path, she expressed that she had some reservations about the life of fame. The “Kill Bill” star noted the fact that industry stars thriving amid the complicated career are always in the public eye.
“She’s a sensitive person. Any protective parent would be anxious for their child to go into the public arena, not because they want to be in the public arena, but because they’re so creative. You just wish they’d find any other way to be creative,” she said of Maya.
As shared by The Blast, the “Pulp Fiction” star also advised her daughter on the gender bias in the entertainment world and how women’s looks are often judged. “Because this industry is so much tougher on women, my mom had reservations about me not becoming an actor, but becoming a public figure,” Maya recalled in a previous interview.
Uma Thurman Starred With Her Daughter In 2023

A 2023 comedy crime thriller brought the mother-daughter together on screens. “The Kill Room” starred Thurman as an art gallery owner, Patrice Capullo, working with a hit man and his boss to organize a money-laundering scheme. Maya’s character, Grace, is a fixture in the New York art world who is intensely curious about the true identity of the hitman.
This project marked the first for the mother-daughter duo. However, The Blast reported that there are prospects of future collaborations. Filmmaker and author Quentin Tarantino previously explained that for a future “Kill Bill: Vol. 3,” Maya could be cast as Thurman’s daughter if the plot goes decades into the future.
Maya has also worked with her father in “The Good Lord” in 2020. Recalling the experience in an interview, the star shared that working with Ethan was an unforgettable experience.
Is it too late for Uma Thurman to fulfill her wish?

Miley Cyrus is opening up about a major question fans have been asking for years: Will she ever go on tour again? The pop star, who once dominated arenas during the peak of her “Hannah Montana” fame and beyond, is now revealing why life on the road may no longer fit into her world the way it once did. While she hasn’t ruled out performing entirely, Miley Cyrus is getting honest about the sacrifices that come with full-scale touring, and why she’s been holding back.
Miley Cyrus Admits She Misses The Stage

Cyrus famously stepped back from large-scale touring following her 2014 “Bangerz” tour, which was one of the most talked-about pop tours of its time. Since then, she has largely avoided committing to extended tours, instead opting for select appearances that allow her to stay grounded.
Despite stepping away from major tours, Miley Cyrus made it clear that her love for performing hasn’t disappeared. “I actually miss and love live shows,” Cyrus told Variety. “But me being on the road for six months out of the year and leaving my family and my normalcy and my routine is just not best for me.”
Cyrus’ ‘Hannah Montana’ Tour Era Defined A Generation Of Fans

Long before her headline-grabbing “Bangerz” era, Cyrus had already cemented herself as a touring powerhouse during her teen years. Her 2007 “Best of Both Worlds” tour, built around her wildly popular “Hannah Montana” alter ego, became an outright phenomenon, packing arenas across North America and catapulting her into superstardom as one of Disney’s biggest breakout names.
She kept the momentum going with a string of follow-up tours, including the “Wonder World Tour” and “Gypsy Heart Tour,” each one reflecting her transformation from innocent Disney child into a more mature artist.
Miley Cyrus Teases Possible Return To Acting

STAR MAX/MEGA
While touring may be up in the air, Cyrus isn’t ruling out stepping back in front of the camera. The singer, whose last major on-screen role came in a 2019 episode of “Black Mirror,” revealed she’s been quietly considering her next move in Hollywood.
“I just haven’t found the right role for me,” she said, noting that she’s “very interested” in acting again.
In fact, Cyrus has already started developing her own ideas, hinting that whatever she does next will be deeply intentional. “I’d want a character that felt like an extension of me,” she told Variety. “Or something completely different from who I am.”
Cyrus Says She’s Finally Found Peace After Years Of Change

As for what’s next, Cyrus is embracing the unknown, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. “I love changing,” she said. “Anything I say could be out the window tomorrow.”
Still, the pop star admitted she’s reached a place in her life where things finally feel aligned. “My life is so beautiful. It never feels like I’m swimming upstream anymore,” she shared. The shift marks a stark contrast from her earlier years navigating fame after “Hannah Montana,” when she admitted she didn’t always feel comfortable in her own image.
Now, with a more grounded perspective, Cyrus believes both she and the industry have evolved. “We’re much more tolerant and celebratory of people’s individuality than we were 10 years ago,” she said. “I would like to think that I’ve championed some of that.”
Miley Cyrus Says She Wants To Mentor The Next Generation

As her career has evolved, Cyrus has leaned on some of the biggest names in music for guidance, and now, she’s ready to step into that role herself for the next generation of artists. The singer has leaned on legends like Dolly Parton, who is also her godmother, Joan Jett, and Stevie Nicks over the years, and hopes to one day offer that same kind of support to younger artists navigating the spotlight.
“I never bow down to bullies. Anytime I feel like somebody is being bullied, I feel very protective of them,” Cyrus said. “When I see people struggling, I’m always the first one to ask, ‘Can I get in contact with them?’ I’d like to show artists how they can have a balanced life.”

‘Love Island USA’ star Huda Mustafa and her boyfriend, Louis Russell, are speaking out after a judge granted a temporary restraining order against Mustafa. Here’s What Huda Mustafa Said Following The Allegations Against Her
Earlier this week, court documents show that a judge granted a temporary restraining order requiring Huda Mustafa to stay away from her boyfriend, Louis Russell’s ex-girlfriend, Nicole Olivera, and their son.
Olivera accused Mustafa of making threats against her and her son, as well as attempting to break into their Los Angeles apartment building in February. The order requires Mustafa to remain at least 100 yards away until a court hearing scheduled for April 3.
In response, Mustafa denied the allegations in a statement shared to her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “I’m aware of what’s being said, and it’s not true,” she wrote. “I’m handling everything the right way by letting legal take care of it. I appreciate everyone who continues to support me.”
Louis Russell Speaks On Fatherhood Amid Recent Updates
Meanwhile, Louis Russell is also addressing the situation and shedding light on his relationship with his child.
In a report obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, Louis Russell claimed his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Olivera, had cut off all contact between him and their son, despite his agreement not to have his girlfriend, Huda Mustafa, present during visits. TMZ also reported that, following the February incident, Russell encouraged Olivera to file the restraining order against Mustafa and even shared text messages between himself and Mustafa.
Following the recent updates, Russell shared a photo with his son, captioned, “All I’ve ever wanted is to be a good dad. That’s who I am, and that’s who I’ll always be.”

Say Goodbye to Tom Hardy’s Absolutely Bonkers Breakout Role That’s Leaving HBO Max
Tom Hardy is an actor who always commits to giving interesting performances, regardless of the quality of the films that he is in. Although his work ranges from nuanced, subtle roles to eccentric characters, Hardy is never boring. He didn’t have quite the big screen breakthrough that one might expect from such a respected actor, as Hardy’s first major film role was in the disastrous sequel Star Trek: Nemesis. However, Hardy showed signs of what a chameleonic actor he could be with Bronson, a biopic based on the “most violent criminal” in Great Britain’s history. The style of Nicolas Winding Refn can be divisive, but Hardy took an unusual, controversial figure and made him the subject of a film that was shocking, funny, and at times surprisingly moving.
Michael Peterson was a British juvenile who adopted his infamous nickname based on his love of the action star Charles Bronson, whose name he adopted in 1987. Bronson is an impressionistic biopic that plays around with the loose way that its subject viewed the world; above all else, Bronson considered himself to be a showman, as from a young age, the film depicts him as being obsessed with vaudeville and carnivals. Bronson examines how a troubled young man became a legendary figure within the British prison system, and how his strange persona became a fascination amongst other prisoners. It’s not a film that would work unless its lead actor could be both terrifying and charismatic at once, and Hardy expertly depicts a character who is impossible to read.
‘Bronson’ Is Unlike Any Other Biopic
It’s clear from the moment that Bronson begins that Hardy is not intended to be a reliable narrator because of the fanciful way that he explains the troubles he experienced in his youth. While there is something sympathetic in the poverty that he dealt with, and how he was not equipped with the mental healthcare that he needed, there’s a part of Bronson that inherently loved getting into trouble. Hardy could have turned Bronson into a more traditionally tragic figure, but at no point does it feel as if he is ashamed of his behavior. In fact, one of the film’s darkest jokes comes during a rare period in his life when Bronson isn’t locked up; when he’s left to spend time in the world that’s not behind bars, Bronson is overwhelmed by the lack of parameters and disregard for a rigorous schedule. As is the case with many anti-heroes, Bronson prefers a scenario in which he is viewed as an authoritative figure, or at least someone to be feared.
The 10 Most Rewatchable Tom Hardy Movies, Ranked
You can always count on Tom Hardy and his accents to make a movie rewatchable.
The non-linear, surrealistic approach to Bronson ensures that Hardy is given the freedom to make unusual choices, and often dons different makeup and costumes to play Bronson’s different personas. While some prison films struggle to make something visually interesting out of a restrained environment, Refn opens up the possibilities for Bronson by showing the subjective ways in which the titular character views the world. However, the fantastical elements of the presentation do not in any way detract from just how violent Bronson was; the scenes in which he engages in bare-knuckled boxing, which is what he became best known for, are realistic in their brutality. It epitomizes the contrast within Bronson’s view of reality, and how it became impossible for the justice system to rationalize. Every moment in which he is faced with consequences, Bronson sees another challenge to surpass, and continues to engage in rebellious behavior.
‘Bronson’ Is One of Tom Hardy’s Most Transformative Performances
Although the pulpy action and dark humor make it a very entertaining watch, Bronson still has aspects of social commentary that prove it to be more than “style over substance.” The film’s main criticism is of the prison system itself; it’s not an infrastructure that is actually interested in rehabilitating incarcerated men or treating them with any sense of dignity, and so it can’t be all that surprising when someone like Bronson abuses any opportunities that it is given. It’s also fascinating to see the strange code of ethics that Bronson chooses to define himself by, as he does not dose out punishment to just anyone; an early scene in which he nearly kills a fellow inmate convicted of pedophilia suggests that Bronson is driven by a larger sense of right and wrong. At the same time, the film ends on a brilliantly ambiguous note in which it’s implied that Bronson simply came to accept his fate; whether that is an indication of his insanity or a sign of his stubborn resilience is up to the viewer to determine.
Bronson feels like a proof of concept for Hardy’s acting style, as the film required a performer who was unafraid to be ridiculed or doubted, as nothing would be truer to the essence of the character he was playing. That Bronson himself was someone obsessed with the ideals of masculinity that he saw in American movies is no coincidence, as Hardy draws from some of the same influences when giving his performance. While Hardy would go on to give similarly ambitious performances in more high-profile films like The Revenant and The Dark Knight Rises, those were blockbusters that would have gained attention regardless of who was starring in them. With Bronson, he elevated an independent film from an arthouse filmmaker and ensured that people paid attention to it. Bronson doesn’t ask the viewer to cast judgments on its subject, but it’s hard not to be blown away by what Hardy accomplished.
Bronson is available to stream on HBO Max in the U.S.

Dwight Howard, Amy Luciani Dispute Caught On Police Body Cam
All eyes are on Dwight Howard and Amy Luciani as their private life is once again taking center stage. Body cam footage has surfaced of their recent estrangement

Dwight And Amy’s Dispute Caught On Cam
Dwight Howard and his wife, whose real name is Amber Rose Howard, have a messy home life that is now on full display after new police body cam footage surfaced showing the two exchanging tense words during an incident at their Georgia mansion. According to footage obtained by TMZ, Amy was seen waiting outside the front gate on March 6, telling officers Dwight had locked her out — something she claims happens often. She also revealed that police have been called to the home multiple times within the past year.
As previously reported, the situation appears to tie into previously released 911 audio, where Amy alleged that Dwight kicked her out of the house. She also told officers that CPS had taken Dwight’s daughter from a previous relationship the night before. Amy also claimed that Dwight was upset with her for not defending him. However, Dwight’s rep denies that CPS was ever involved.
Dwight Claims Amy Put Family At Risk
Things escalated when Dwight eventually came outside with his son and two men. Amy says he had just met days earlier through a “celebrity numbers” app and hired on the spot. During the interaction, Dwight pulled an officer aside and had his son share his version of events, claiming he tried to avoid Amy due to her yelling. Dwight also alleged that his daughter’s mother and Amy have “teamed up” against him. He also accused them of trying to damage his reputation and family.
The NBA star went on to tell officers he’s officially retiring from basketball. Additionally, he claimed that Amy had been provoking him ahead of a major upcoming ceremony. He also made a serious allegation about one of his dogs passing away while under Amy’s care, citing negligence. Dwight ultimately told officers he fears for his safety and his son’s well-being, adding, “Something has to be done.”
Couple Apparently Feuds Over Canceled TV Deal
The drama continues to unfold as Amy claims Dwight made her financially dependent on him. She alleges that he discouraged her from continuing her run on ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ leaving her without savings. She also alleges the couple had secured a $1 million-each TV deal. But, Amy claims that Dwight abruptly canceled it via email without her knowledge. Sources close to him dispute her claims, saying the deal wasn’t solid and denying he used money as leverage. They also alleged that her time on the show had already become inconsistent — setting the stage for what could be a larger legal battle if the two can’t reach an agreement.
