Sister Wives star Kody Brown acted as if he was about to give the world a gift along with Robyn Brown when removing his facial hair, but the fans saw through this transformation in more ways than one. Kody went even further, and today he is no longer sporting those signature ringlets of his.  His new look, dubbed a “helmet-like haircut” by some Sister Wives fans, is getting mixed reviews online.

Last week’s Sister Wives episode churned up the ick factor for fans when Kody Brown removed an obstacle so Robyn Brown could enjoy his kisses. This scene came along with examples of these kisses, causing some viewers to suggest they were about to lose their lunch after watching this.

While Kody became agreeable to taking off some facial hair for Robyn’s comfort, he acted as if the fans would go wild over this.  He even suggested the fans would like to see him do this. He appeared tickled pink with himself over his decision to shave.

But news today suggests that Kody didn’t stop at removing some of the hair on his face. He went much further by cutting those signature locks of his.

Sister Wives fans see right through Kody’s new haircut in two ways. First, it seems even easier to see his hair has thinned.

Some folks suggest that Kody is sprucing up to bring another wife on board. He has hinted this may be the case when he told Robyn Brown there is a woman emailing him who is interested. So, part of his vanity trip might have to do with growing his family, i.e., another wife.

But instead of a new wife, or providing comfort for Robyn during their makeout sessions, some Sister Wives fans suggest Kody’s makeover is likely more about money.

Kody Brown’s sudden urge to cut his hair has Sister Wives fans buzzing online today. But it is not so much about his looks that they center on. No, fans think they know the motive, and it is not to make his face more comfortable for his intimate moments with Robyn.

Many believe this hair-cropping move, like many of his moves, revolves around money. Now that the marriage consisting of five spouses fell apart, the original concept for this series is also gone.

Folks tuned in to see how a man keeps five women happy. And they learned that wasn’t the case. After 20 seasons of Sister Wives rolled by, it became obvious that this polygamous marriage was destined to fail.

So, now it looks like Kody is fighting to keep him and Robyn on the screen. He’s tried just about everything so far, like sharing too much personal stuff about their intimate moments. He’s bashed his ex-wives, which did nothing more than get the already disgusted fans more disgusted over his actions.

That said, Kody has had a love affair going with his ringlets for years. He seems to think the fans are just as infatuated with his golden mane as he is. So, many viewers think his new coiffure is a failed attempt by Kody to draw in the masses. Most folks had their say about his new cropped look and have moved on.

Anyway, if the fans are correct in their theory that Kody’s haircutting venture is a way for him to boost the ratings, it didn’t seem to draw too much interest. The talk about his new hairdo seems too fleeting to do much good at gathering a bigger audience for the TLC Sister Wives series.
