‘Teen Wolf’ Hunts Down a New Streaming Home Right After Thanksgiving Weekend

For the first time in ten years, Teen Wolf is making a full-moon comeback on Netflix in the United States. After teasing fans on social media over the holiday weekend, Netflix officially confirmed that all six seasons — a full 100 episodes — will return to the platform on December 1. It’s a major shift for a series that has been nomadic since leaving Netflix U.S. in 2015. Over the past decade, Teen Wolf has bounced between streamers like Hulu and Prime Video domestically, while internationally the picture was slightly more stable: Netflix carried the show in dozens of countries throughout the 2010s, adding Seasons 1 and 2 in 2016 and the final season in 2017. Those regions kept the full series for six years until everything was removed globally in June 2023.

Teen Wolf initially begins with the high school loser Scott McCall, whose normal life gets a bit more lupine when he’s bitten by a mysterious creature in the woods right before sophomore year. The bite transforms him into a werewolf, giving him heightened senses, superhuman strength, and mood swings that should make him far less popular than he ends up.

As Scott struggles to balance lacrosse, crushes, and friendship with the ever-enthusiastic Stiles, he’s dragged deeper into the supernatural underworld of Beacon Hills — a town that seems cursed to attract hunters, monsters, and paranormal disasters. Every season raises the stakes, forcing Scott to decide what kind of person — and what kind of alpha — he wants to become.

Who Stars in ‘Teen Wolf’?

The cast of Teen Wolf includes Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Dylan O’Brien as Stiles Stilinski, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore, Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate, Arden Cho as Kira Yukimura, Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar, Linden Ashby as Sheriff Stilinski, Melissa Ponzio as Melissa McCall, JR Bourne as Chris Argent, and Orny Adams as Coach Finstock, with recurring performances from Ian Bohen, Michael Hogan, Seth Gilliam, Jill Wagner, Cody Christian, Khylin Rhambo, and others throughout its run.

Many cast members later appear in Netflix Originals — Posey in The Last Summer and Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, Hennig in The After Party, and Arden Cho in Partner Track, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and K-Pop Demon Hunters. O’Brien, meanwhile, starred in the Netflix-distributed international hit Love and Monsters.
