The One Thing About Jason Kelce That Makes Wife Kylie So ‘Mad’

Kylie Kelce attempted to pull a prank on her husband, NFL star Jason Kelce. However, the joke backfired on the podcaster, as the former Philadelphia Eagles player surprised her with his response. While she reflected on the prank, Kylie admitted there’s one thing about her husband that makes her “mad.”

On an episode of her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie attempted a viral TikTok trend on her husband, Jason, in which a partner asks their clearly fit significant other whether they wish they were more athletic.

“Can I just ask you a really quick question?” Kylie asked her husband on the phone.

“Of course,” Jason replied before she asked, “Do you ever wish you were more athletic?”

Jason, a one-time Super Bowl champion, didn’t have the response Kylie assumed he would.

“Oh, gosh, not really,” he said. “I feel like I’m pretty athletic.”

As Kylie continued the prank, she told Jason she was curious about his answer because she had been thinking about asking him the question for some time.

“Why? What happened?” he said, to which Kylie responded, “Nothing happened. I just wanted to ask you that question.”

After a beat, Jason realized his wife was filming a bit for her podcast. Later, he reflected on the question and gave an even more candid answer.

“I don’t know. I feel like sometimes I’m so athletic it’s a burden to carry,” he said. “I wish that the expectation was lower, you know what I mean?”

Once Kylie and Jason wrapped up their conversation, the podcast host reflected on her husband’s answer, admitting it was a bit “underwhelming.”

The one thing she appreciated about his answer, though, was that he wasn’t as “defensive” as some of the other partners she’s seen doing the trend. “He was just like, ‘No, I’m good. I’m really f-cking athletic,’” she added.

Kylie even joked that Jason’s confidence bugs her just a little.

“And he’s not lying — that’s the part that makes me mad. We’ve got to figure out how we’re going to knock him down a few notches. And I mean that in a loving way. Because that’s part of my job,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Jason and Kylie have let the public into their marriage. According to an earlier report from The Blast, Kylie opened up about Jason’s viral striptease from the summer of 2025, in which he snatched off a pair of sweatpants, only to reveal himself in a tight, American-flag-themed speedo.

For those unfamiliar with the stunt, it’s been shared online a handful of times, and on Instagram, it has racked up over 100,000 likes. And while the moment made some fans happy, with one commenting on the clip and asking for various angles for “research purposes,” it bothered Kylie.

“I did not like that you just [were like], ‘Hey world, here’s my t-int,’” she admitted on her podcast, to which Jason replied, “Here’s my Japanese Maple,” referencing a small tree that’s reportedly between three and five feet in height.

Kylie later admitted that Jason’s flashy reveal took her by surprise and that she didn’t hear about it until later because she was at home with their kids.

“By the time I was coming back, I had received a text message of the behind angle and proceeding to Magic Mike his shorts off,” she said. “I have not seen this move before. I don’t know if he practiced. If he did, it was [with doors] closed.”
