Coronation Street fans spot huge blunder in Tyrone and Fiz’s house – but can you see what it is?
CORONATION Street fans have spotted a huge blunder in Tyrone and Fiz’s house.
The small terraced property has been at the centre of a huge storyline as Hope has been dealing with a vape addiction.
Recent scenes on the long-running ITV soap showed the living room on fire as her hidden stash of nicotine set the desk alight.
Both Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) were understandably fuming as Evelyn (Dame Maureen Lipman) calmly put out the desk blaze.
The property is not just home to the couple and their two kids, but also Tyrone’s mother Cassie (Claire Sweeney).
This means that five people live in the tiny terraced house on Coronation Street.

Meanwhile in the Platt house, Gail (Helen Worth) lives with David (Jack P.Shepherd), Shona (Julia Goulding), and their kids Max (Paddy Bever) and Lily.
Nick (Ben Price) recently moved back in after Leanne (Jane Danson) kicked him out after his affair with Toyah (Georgia Taylor).
However, many fans took to social media after they were left completely confused by the number of people living in the small house.
Writing on forum site Reddit, one dedicated viewer noted: “Mainly with the Platt and Dobbs houses and the Barlow house for a while but how on earth do their tiny terraced houses fit 6 people?
“The Barlow house had 8 people once and the Platt house even had 9 at one point I think, do the writers just forget how small their houses are or are there some secret rooms we don’t know about?”
Other soap enthusiasts couldn’t help but echo the sentiment as another replied: “It’s a pretty big joke in soap land, and EE is the same. Terrace houses don’t have 5 bedrooms, even with a dormer, we’re just expected not to notice.”
As a third stated: “Terraced houses at max have 3 bedrooms with 1 being a box room, I would really love to see how 6-8 people fit in.”
“Eileen’s house is magic,” wrote a fourth user.
And a fifth added: “I always get claustrophobia whenever I see Fizz and Tyrone’s place lol.”
Who lives where on Coronation Street?
Here is where all of the residents of Weatherfield’s main street live
- 1 Coronation Street – The Barlow family (Ken, Tracy, Steve, Amy)
- 3 Coronation Street – The Bailey family (Aggie, Ed, Michael)

Gogglebox reunite 90s TV comedy legends for ‘amazing’ Stand Up to Cancer special this week
OVER the last three decades, comedy duo Frank Skinner and David Baddiel have graced many a sofa.
Their bums were plonked on a settee for Nineties BBC classic Fantasy Football League and again on ITV talk show Baddiel And Skinner Unplanned.
But I can reveal the pair will finally be lounging about for a good cause as part of the Celebrity Gogglebox cast.
The lads will make their debut on the Channel 4 favourite this Friday in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
Frank said: “It is an amazing cause and Dave and me, back on a sofa, seems a better deal than cycling up K2, carrying a fridge to Istanbul or any of that sweaty stuff people do for charity.”
David added: “I’m a big fan of Gogglebox, Stand Up To Cancer, and Frank Skinner, so this wasn’t a difficult yes.
“If we can raise awareness and cash to fight this terrible disease, it’s worth the huge effort of slumping in front of the screen with my old friend.”
The duo first met backstage at Jongleurs comedy club in 1990 but their friendship was cemented when they shared a flat during the Edinburgh Fringe two years on.
Now they live just 15 doors away from each other.
Frank recalled: “I’ve been watching TV with David Baddiel for about 30 years.
“The only TV I refused to watch with him was stuff featuring me.
“He never laughed enough.”
Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer is available to watch and stream on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday.
In the meantime, fans will be thrilled to see my exclusive pics of Baddiel and Skinner snuggled up on a chic, velvet sofa beside a reed diffuser and contemporary artwork.
I bet their Edinburgh digs were far less stylish .

Karen Plumb from show producers Plimsoll Productions, said: “We’re looking at six or seven celebs.
“We’re lucky because we can cast a high calibre because people want to take part in something with a purpose.
“It’s a chance of a lifetime!
“These people are going to be diving with the most incredible sharks, with the best dive team and best natural history team.”
It makes facing Craig Revel Horwood sound like a walk in the park.

The Traitors Finland series finale postponed after murder of contestant
The Finnish version of The Traitors has been postponed indefinitely after a contestant was murdered.
Jaane Puhakka, 29, the country’s first openly gay ice hockey player, was killed Sunday night after he was allegedly shot by his 66-year-old partner, Rolf Nordmo.
Nordmo is reported to have confessed to the murder following the breakdown of their relationship several weeks ago.
Mr Puhakka was taking part in the show as a traitor. The final episode, set to air this week, was filmed earlier this year.
The popular TV show, which originated in the Netherlands and has a hugely successful incarnation in the UK hosted by Claudia Winkleman, sees contestants take on an increasingly complex psychological tasks in a bid to win a £120,000 prize.
This sees “Traitors” attempt to eliminate “the Faithful” in a bid to take the entire prize fund for themselves.
A translated statement about the postponement from TV channel Nelonen read: “The final episode of the season of Petolliset was scheduled to be shown on Thursday of this week.
“We have come to the conclusion that right now is not the right time to air an episode. We will return to the question of the possible presentation of the episode later. We share in the grief of Janne’s loved ones.”
According to reports, fans of the show agreed that it would not be appropriate to air while others said that it might be an opportunity to share a public tribute to the late Mr Puhakka.

The TV contestant, a former player for Espoo Blues and Espoo United, made headlines in 2019 when he came out as gay.
A tribute was paid to the late athlete by Liiga, Finland’s top ice hockey league, who described him on Twitter/X as “an important role model” and said his “courage and openness left an indelible mark on Finnish hockey”.
Finish ice hockey expert Topi Nättinen told Yle Urheilu: “The first thing that comes to mind about Janne is a role model. His courage opened new doors socially, not only in Finland, but also globally.
“[He] was an exceptional person both in the hockey community and the entire sports world. He was so brave. It may not even be understood how great a role model he has been for many.”

MAFS star Adam shows off two and a half stone weight loss after backlash over comments about wife’s appearance
MAFS star Adam Nightingale has shown off his two and a half stone weight loss, after backlash for comments he made about his wife Polly.
The 33-year-old complained that his wife Polly Sellman, 28, wasn’t what he’d been “expecting” after they came face-to-face during an episode of the E4 show.
While the careers advisor complimented him on his teeth and aftershave, barber Adam failed to return the gesture.
And the newlyweds’ relationship has been fraught with difficulties from the off, with Adam admitting Polly isn’t his type, and instead saying he prefers “petite brunettes.”
Now, Adam has shown off his post-show weight loss after taking to the gym for a Sunday workout session.
The barber could be seen in the gym using various different machines, all while filming his progress.
He began the video by downing a pre workout, before writing: “Sunday full body workout.
“Training to tone up now, not get big.”
Adam also revealed how much weight he’d lost, as he said: “2 & half stone weight loss, but we still pushing.
“Weighing 13 stone 7. 10-15 reps x4 no slacking.”
Adam has been flooded with messages of congratulations, from both MAFS fans but also co-stars too.
MAFS bride Lacey wrote: “Well done Adam!!! Smashing it,” while Nathan posted a muscle emoji.
Adam’s workout comes after fans of the show were left distracted by a “disgusting” detail as Adam and Polly had their friends round for dinner.
Revealing the Indian takeaway he’d picked up, Adam insisted he was unable to cook because of the lack of pans in their apartment.
As they sat down to eat, Polly remarked: “Obviously this isn’t homemade.”
Married at First Sight’s best moments
Married at First sight has brought eight explosive series of drama to the small screen. These are some of the best moments
- When series 8 couple Rozz Darlington and Thomas Kriaras brought secretly brought a sex toy to the couple’s dinner party. Unbeknownst to their fellow cast members who they were having dinner with, Rozz wore a vibrating egg gadget whilst husband Thomas had the controls.
- Nikita’s exit in series 6. Nikita was removed from the show early on due to her behaviour, which led to her husband Ant re-entering the experiment with Alexis.
- A slightly more heart warming highlight from series 6 was watching Dan and Matt’s relationship unfold. Dan and Matt were the first same-sex couple on the show, and their relationship was both ground-breaking and adorable.
- Emma and James’ wedding in series 1. They were the first couple to ever get married on the UK version of the show. Emma and James, had a beautiful ceremony that set the tone for the series.
- The dinner party showdowns are always a MAFs highlight with explosive arguments and unexpected alliances forming.
He replied: “I can’t cook for four people because obviously we haven’t got pans.
“I got a chicken byriani, which you like, then I thought I’d get something saucy… but they forgot to put it in the bag.
“So we’ve basically got chicken and rice, rice and chips.”
Fans rushed to social media to have their say on Adam’s less-than-appetising takeaway order.
One wrote: “Wtf is that food Adam?” Another said: “The look on Adam’s mate’s face at the food.”
Someone else said: “If my partner told me we were getting Indian take away and came back with that order I would cry.”
And a fourth added: “It’s no wonder British food has historically had a bad reputation.”

Rosie O’Donnell speaks out on daughter’s arrest for child neglect and drug possession
Rosie O’Donnell has spoken out on her daughter’s recent arrests for child neglect and drug possession, saying that “sadly this is not new for our family.”
The 62-year-old comedian and actor’s eldest daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, 27, was arrested in Wisconsin on September 17 and booked into Marinette County Jail. She was charged with neglecting a child, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and several other misdemeanor drug charges, according to court records seen by People.
Chelsea – who O’Donnell adopted as a baby with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter – was later released after posting a $2,000 bond.
However, she was arrested again nearly a month later on October 11 and booked into Oconto County Jail, where she is facing new felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping, in addition to misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She is scheduled to appear in court on November 4 and 7.
Following the news of Chelsea’s arrests, O’Donnell took to Instagram on Sunday (October 20) to share a statement from the family, as well as an old photo of her daughter “from a better time.”
“Chelsea is in the news today – this is a photo from a better time – here is the family comment,” she wrote, alongside an old selfie of Chelsea with a baby lying on her chest.
“Sadly this is not new for our family – Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we r all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease [sic].”
O’Donnell has had a fraught relationship with Chelsea over the years, with her daughter going missing from their New York home in 2015. Shortly after, the then-teenager was found safe by authorities. She then reportedly relocated to Wisconsin to live with her birth mother.
The A League of Their Own star eventually reconnected with Chelsea following the birth of her first child in 2018, with O’Donnell saying at the time: “She’s doing better now and we’re both communicating with each other.

“When somebody does something unforgivable to you and you can forgive them and they can forgive you, there’s a kind of grace that descends upon the both of you, within that.”
Chelsea has since welcomed three other children: daughter Riley in January 2021, daughter Avery Lynn in February 2022, and son Atlas in October 2023.
In addition to Chelsea, O’Donnell is a parent to four other children: sons Parker, 29, and Blake, 24; and daughters Vivienne, 21, and Dakota, 11. O’Donnell and Carpenter adopted Parker, Chelsea, and Vivienne before their split in 2007. The actor went on to adopt Dakota with her second wife, Michelle Rounds, but they divorced in 2015.

Who is Danielle Peazer’s boyfriend and Capital radio DJ Sonny Jay? Capital radio host & Dancing On Ice champion
OVER the years, Sonny Jay has become a familiar voice on the airwaves thanks to his top presenting job on Capital FM.
However, when he’s not busy hosting his popular radio show he is enjoying being a parent to baby Mia, with girlfriend Danielle Peazer.
Born on June 30, 1993, in Redbridge, London, Sonny Jay Muharrem, known as Sonny Jay, is a singer and radio presenter.
He first entered the limelight when he auditioned on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2012 with his band, Loveable Rogues.
The London-based band reached the finals of the talent show and was signed to record label Syco Music.
The band went their separate ways in 2015 and Sonny headed for a new career.
Becoming a radio star
In 2016, Sonny started his broadcasting career at a local radio station in Brentford, called Phoenix FM.
However, he was quickly snapped up by Capital FM to present Thursday and Friday overnights.
Sonny then got his big break when it was announced he was joining the Capital Breakfast Show team alongside Roman Kemp and Vick Hope.
Since 2023, he has presented The Capital Late Show.
Winning Dancing On Ice
In 2021, Sonny joined the line-up for Dancing On Ice, and made it to the final with skating pro partner Angela Egan.
After wowing fans and the judges, he was crowned the series winner, beating Faye Brooke, after they both performed the Bolero.
Speaking about his big win Sonny said: “That is mental, thank you so much,” gushed Sonny.
“I wanted to come out of this competition being able to skate with a beer in my hand –- now I can do that and I’ve won the whole thing!
“I feel like I’ve completed life.”
Meeting Danielle Peazer
In 2023, Sonny started dating dancer and fitness influencer Danielle Peazer.
His girlfriend famously used to date the late Liam Payne.
After the One Direction star sadly died, Danielle revealed that he had given his “blessing” to her new relationship.
In a heartfelt tribute to Liam, she wrote: “Receiving a message from you a couple of weeks ago expressing your happiness for the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I’ll cherish forever.”
Before meeting Danielle, Sonny was engaged to Lauren Faith.
However, the pair split in 2022, after she moved to LA to focus on her career.
An insider told us at the time: “Sonny and Lauren have called off the wedding.
“It’s been a busy time for both of them since Sonny won Dancing on Ice and Lauren’s music producing started taking off.
“They’re both determined to focus on their careers and were struggling to make the long-distance work as Lauren spent months in Los Angeles, while Sonny worked in London.
“They both want a fresh start and have wiped each other off of their social media pages.”
Baby joy
In May 2024, Sonny and Danielle welcomed a daughter together, Mia.
Announcing their baby news, they both posted: “And then there were 3…She’s here and she’s perfect.”
Speaking about becoming a dad, Sonny told Thortful: “It’s surprised me how Danielle and I have just kicked into being parents. I find it so odd how one day you’re not a parent and then suddenly you’ve just got this massive responsibility.
“The only thing genuinely that I found so difficult is being up in the night feeding.
“Doing a night feed and not falling asleep – I’m literally shaking my head trying to do everything.
“Scrolling on TikTok just to keep my eyes open, I’ve found that hard.
“I would say that’s the hardest part of it so far.”

SNL praised for mocking ‘vile’ ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ song in brutal sketch
Saturday Night Live has dug up a pop rock anthem from 2009 to show that the seemingly innocent song is still as bad as many seem to remember.
The 19 October episode of the long-running sketch show was hosted by actor Michael Keaton, with music coming from Billie Eilish.
It also saw the return of Alec Baldwin to the show for the first time since being cleared of manslaughter charges following the 2021 shooting on the set of the western film Rust.
The sketch took place in 1950s Detroit, where a mixed-race couple, played by Ego Nwodim and Andrew Dismukes, shared their relationship with their families, played by Keaton, Heidi Gardner, Kenan Thompson and Devon Walker, who disagreed about the pairing.
After hearing both sides of the argument, Dismukes told everyone in the room: “Maybe this will help. I’ve written a song.”
He adds that the song is: “About us. About what it’s like to be married to a beautiful Black woman. Maybe when people hear it, things will start to change.”
Dismukes then pulls out a ukelele and launches into a rendition of Train’s widely divisive 2009 smash hit “Hey, Soul Sister,” often cited as having some of the most embarassing and problematic lyrics of all time with Business Insider naming it as the worst song of 2010.
Dismukes over the top rendition of the song is lapped up by his white parents who immediately change their minds about the relationship.
However, the same can’t be said for the Black family, with Thompson citing one of the lyrics in the song, asks: “Hmm. Uh, young man, did you say that my daughter was so gangster?” Dismukes replies by saying: “Yes sir, And I am so thug.”

The twist in the sketch is that Nwodim is also so appalled by the song that she decides to leave Dismukes, who is consoled by his parents, who reassure him that it wasn’t the song’s fault.
By reviving the song, SNL has prompted viewers to react to the lyrics, with some being stunned at what they uncovered.
One person wrote: “Because of SNL I looked up the lyrics to ‘Hey, Soul Sister.’ I’d heard the song before — there are some things in this life that you simply can’t control — but had never really *listened* to it before. Those lyrics are unconscionable. They are proof the devil lives among us.”
A second person said: “I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ by Train is one song that immediately turns my stomach into only bile. Heinous and vile.”
Meanwhile, a third viewer said: “SNL is always so late to the party but I am always here for ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ jokes. That song is deranged.”
The song was a major hit for Train, reaching number three on the Billboard Top 100 chart, with frontman Pat Monahan, claiming that the song is actually about “a group of beautiful women at Burning Man dancing around the fire”.
One of the band’s founding members, Charlie Colin, died in May 2024.
