Strictly’s Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał fuel romance rumours with biggest clue yet - despite Maura dating rumours

STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał have sparked more romance rumours after striking up a sizzling partnership on the show.

The pair set pulses racing last weekend with a raunchy routine that came close to ending with a passionate kiss.

Though the near smooch was all part of the choreography, the committed duo sold it effortlessly.

Not only are they in sync on the dancefloor, but they are off it too when it comes to their perfect movie date.

When asked to describe his ideal setting, Pete said: “Raining, log cabin in the middle of the woods, fire going, cold night. Couple of bottles of Malbec and cheese board.”

Jowita followed along similar lines, saying: “Snowy night, log cabin! A big bowl of salted popcorn.”

It’s not just viewers who think love could be in the air.

Ex-Strictly pro Vincent Simone is convinced “something’s going on” between Pete and Jowita, and he certainly knows what he’s talking about having witnessed a number of romances flourishing between celebrities and Strictly’s dancers over the years.

The pro, who appeared on the BBC series from 2006 until 2012, has been keeping a close eye on the current series and delivered a telling verdict on Pete and Jowita’s undeniable chemistry.

Speaking to 10bet, he said: “I think the two of them are just gorgeous and I felt, after watching them, ‘Hello! There’s something going on here’.

“I would love a bit of romance on the show!”

Even Strictly judges Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas noticed the pair’s chemistry, and both commented on it in their critiques last week.

Vincent admitted you can fall in love quite quickly on the dancefloor, adding: “Pasha Kovalev got married to Rachel Riley.

Gorka Marquez got married (to Gemma Atkinson). Flavia Cacace got married (to Jimi Mistry).

“They’re both absolutely gorgeous. If they’re both single and spending so much time together, then why not go for it?

“We’ve seen people from the show get married in the past.

“Maybe Pete and Jowita could follow in their footsteps?

“If you can fall in love while learning how to dance like a professional, there’s nothing better than that. I would love to see a good romance on the show this year.”

However, Pete has also been linked to Love Island legend Maura Higgins.

The pair maintain they are just friends despite being pictured snogging in public in August.

But on Monday, new photos emerged showing the pair “all over each other” while out at a London pub with Strictly co-stars.

Shayne Ward became the latest celebrity to leave Strictly, after finding himself in the dance off.

The former The X Factor champ was given his marching orders alongside pro partner Nancy Xu.

After his fate was declared by the judges, Shayne said: “I just want to say, you guys up there [the other contestants in the Clauditorium] are a dream.

“Every single day, coming in here and seeing you guys you helped me so much.

“I want to say thank you to the audience as well, for always being amazing for us all. This has been, honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever done.”

He added: “I’m proud that I made it to eight weeks as a novice dancer. A massive thank you goes to this incredible human right next to me [Nancy], who has put so much fire in me and made me believe that I can actually achieve more if I let myself go.

“I’m sorry it didn’t work out to the end, but I’m super proud that I got to meet you [to Nancy] and dance with you, so thank you.”

His pro partner Nancy also praised her partnership with the former Coronation Street star and said he should be “proud” of himself.

She said: “I’m beyond proud of this dance partnership. Shayne from week one until this point, every second you put your feet on the dancefloor you improved yourself.

“You’re a deep thinker, you always doubt yourself, you never believed yourself, but I never ever questioned you.

“When I watch you, I feel proud because I’ve turned someone who has never ever danced in their life into an amazing dancer. You should believe in yourself.

TULISA attempted to keep a very low profile as she landed in Australia ahead of I’m A Celebrity.

The former N-dubz singer is one of a number of star names to sign on to compete in the long-running ITV challenge show.

Tulisa, 36, tried to completely disguise herself in a grey hoodie and matching tracksuit bottoms.

The former X Factor judge tried to cover her face with a black face mask as only her eyes were viable.

She further attempted to hide away as she donned a cream and pink baseball cap to further give her more cover.

Her hand luggage essentials were packed neatly in her small black leather rucksack which she wore over her back.

The star was accompanied by a burly bodyguard in a graphic grey t-shirt to help her with her suitcases through the arrivals terminal.

Aas she strode through the airport, the Live It Up singer played coy about potentially heading into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

After arriving in Brisbane Airport, Tulisa jokingly remarked: “Any McDonald’s round here?

“Can’t go wrong with a Big Mac can ya?”

She said: “I’m not saying nothing, I hope you all have a lovely day though.”

Adding: “I hope you enjoy the Australian trip.”

McFly’s Danny Jones and Corrie’s Alan Halsall are the first I’m A Celeb stars to touch down in Oz after stormy flights

Tulisa is not the first big name to land in Australia as a number of stars were spotted on the ground.

McFly‘s Danny Jones and Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall have also arrived down under ahead of the new series hosted by Ant and Dec.

After a long-haul flight, the 38-year-old Masked Singer winner touched down following his journey from London’s Heathrow Airport.

In a bid to keep his jungle stint under wraps, Danny told The Sun he was in the country to record a solo album.

As the hit ITV show enters into its 24th series, a brand new batch of famous faces look set to enter the Aussie jungle once again to face terrifying Bushtucker Trials and living amongst the critters in camp in order to come out on top and be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle. The Sun’s Jake Penkethman takes a look at the stars heading Down Under this year…

  • Coleen Rooney – Arguably the most famous name heading into the camp, the leading WAG, known for her marriage to Wayne Rooney, will be making a grand return to TV as she looks to put the Wagatha Christie scandal behind her. The Sun revealed the mum-of-four had bagged an eye-watering deal worth over £1.5million to head into the camp this year making her the highest-paid contestant ever.
  • Tulisa – The popstar and former X Factor judge looks set to be making a triumphant TV comeback by signing up to this year’s I’m A Celeb after shunning TV shows for many years. Known for being a member of the trio, N-Dubz, Tulisa became a household name back in 2011 when she signed on to replace Cheryl on ITV show The X Factor in a multi-million pound deal.
  • Alan Halsall – The actor, known for playing the long-running role of Tyrone Dobbs on ITV soap opera Coronation Street, was originally signed up to head Down Under last year but an operation threw his scheduled appearance off-course. Now he will be hoping to become the latest Corrie star to win over both the viewers and his fellow celebrities when he gets into camp.
  • Melvin Odoom – The Radio DJ has become a regular face on TV screens after rising to fame with presenting roles on Kiss FM, BBC Radio 1 and 4Music. He has already been for a spin on the Strictly dancefloor and co-hosted The Xtra Factor with Rochelle Humes in 2015 but now he is facing up to his biggest challenge yet – the Aussie jungle.
  • GK Barry – The UK’s biggest social media personality, GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, has transformed her TikTok stardom into a lucrative career. Aside from her popular social media channels, she hosts the weekly podcast, Saving Grace, and regularly appears on ITV talk show, Loose Women. She has even gone on to endorse popular brand such as PrettyLittleThing, KFC and Ann Summers.
  • Dean McCullough – A rising star amongst this year’s bunch of celebs, Dean first achieved notability through his radio appearances on Gaydio and BBC Radio 1. He was chosen to join the BBC station permanently in 2021 and has featured prominently ever since. He has enjoyed a crossover to ITV over the past year thanks to his guest slots on Big Brother spin-off show, Late & Live.
  • Oti Mabuse – The pro dancer has signed up to her latest TV show after making her way through the biggest programmes on the box. She origianlly found fame on Strictly Come Dancing but has since branched out into the world of TV judging with appearances on former BBC show The Greatest Dancer as well as her current role on ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
  • Danny Jones – The McFly star was drafted into the programme last minute as a replacement for Tommy Fury. Danny is the second member of McFly to enter the jungle, after Dougie Poynter won the show in 2011. He is also considered a rising star on ITV as he’s now one of the mentors on their Saturday night talent show, The Voice, along with bandmate Tom. A jungle insider said: “As well as bringing some of the star appeal of the group with him, he’ll be supplying some serious guy candy for the campmates and viewers at home.”
  • Maura Higgins – The Irish TV beauty first found fame on Love Island where she found a brief connection with dancer Curtis Pritchard. Since then, she has competed on Dancing On Ice as well as hosting the Irish version of the beauty contest, Glow Up. Since last year, she has been working on building up her career in the US by being the social media correspondent and host of Aftersun to accompany Love Island USA. She even guest hosted an episode of the spin-off, Love Island Games, in place of Maya Jama last year.
  • Jane Moore – The Loose Women star and The Sun columnist will be braving the creepy crawlies this year. The star is ready for a new challenge – having recently split from her husband. It will be Jane’s first foray into reality TV with the telly favourite having always said no to reality shows in the past.
  • Barry McGuigan – Former pro boxer Barry will become the latest fighting champ to head Down Under following in the footsteps of Tony Bellew and Amir Khan. It comes after a tough few years for Irish star Barry, who lost his daughter Danika to breast cancer. He told The Late Late Show in 2021: “She was such an intrinsic part of the family that every day we ache.”
  • Rev. Richard Coles – Former BBC radio host the Rev Richard Coles is set for I’m A Celebrity — and is ready to let rip at his old employer. The former Communards and Strictly star, 62, said the BBC did not know its a**e from its elbow last year.An insider said: “Rev Coles will have a variety of tales to tell from his wild days as a pop star in the Eighties, through to performing on Strictly and his later life as a man of the cloth.”
  • He wore an Oasis T-shirt as he remarked: “A bit of a hairy flight but it was perfect.”

Adding: “The McFly boys don’t know it, I’m here to do a solo album. They think I’m out here doing other things, but I’m here to do a solo album.”

Meanwhile, Alan’s flight landed a couple of hours later and he insisted he was in the country to play golf.

Asked if he was excited, Alan said: “I’m just here to play golf. That’s all I’m here for.

“I don’t know what all this is. Just a bit of golf for me.”

‘We miss him’: Yellowstone cast react to Kevin Costner’s absence in season five part two

The cast of Yellowstone are opening up about Kevin Costner’s absence from the second part of the show’s final season.

The hit Paramount Plus drama returns on Sunday (November 10) for the ninth episode of its fifth season.

Lead actor Costner – who played ranch owner John Dutton – will not appear in the final six episodes of the series after exiting the show in June due to scheduling conflicts. His departure came amid reports that the Dancing With Wolves star had fallen out with Yellowstone showrunner Taylor Sheridan.

At the season five part two premiere in New York this week, Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton, said: “It’s hard to imagine the show without him. But that’s always where the show was headed. It was, can these kids do it without him?”

He continued: “So we all knew it was going to get there, we just didn’t know how or when, and clearly it was different than what we thought. But what it did do was ramp the show up to a 10 and now everything starts to unravel.”

The 40-year-old admitted he had been “a little disappointed” that the rest of the cast were not aware that Costner wouldn’t be returning to conclude the fifth season.

“I guess I was probably a little disappointed that we didn’t know that he wasn’t going to be, you know, back,” he began. “I think there might have been a better goodbye had we done it in some other way. It was, you know, it was more of a surprise than anything.”

“But like I said, that’s above my pay grade. And our job is just show up and do what’s on the page and do it to the best of our ability,” Grimes said.

Meanwhile, Wes Bentley, who plays Jamie Dutton, added: “We miss him. He’s a huge part of the show and great guy to have around.”

In June, Costner told People he was “disappointed” by how the rumors surrounding his exit were handled by producers.

“I loved the show. I liked the people on the show. I liked what it was about. I love that world,” he said at the time.

In an April interview with The Independent, Grimes said of Costner’s exit: “Whatever happened there is unfortunate if it’s changed anything about how the show was going to unfold. I know, [Costner] got busy with his movies that were like passion projects [his new Horizon: An American Saga films]. At a certain point, you gotta do what you gotta do, man; you gotta do what you love.”

Ahead of episode nine’s release, Yellowstone director Christina Voros said Costner would play an “integral” role in the show’s ending despite his departure.

“John Dutton is still central,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “His presence is integral. I think to say any more than that would potentially compromise all the work that went into redacting the scripts!

“But I think the reason people are wondering, ‘Is he, isn’t he? Where is he, where is he not?’ is because he is the patriarch and his presence is an essential component to the story.”

While Yellowstone will be coming to an end, Sheridan isn’t done with Montana. He recently announced that Michelle Pfeiffer is set to lead the forthcoming Yellowstone sequel series, The Madison. The new series will follow a family of New Yorkers who relocate to the Madison River valley in central Montana.

Yellowstone airs weekly on Sundays on Paramount Plus at 8pm ET.

The couple gained a legion of fans during their appearance on BBC’s Race Across the World earlier this year.

It was the first time that fans got to see a peek inside their marriage with one another as they faced off against their fellow celebs throughout South America.

And now the pair are set to return to our screens with their brand new show, Kelly and Jeremy: La Vita Italiana.

The couple will return to the Arpino countryside, where they tied the knot in 2022.

“With Kelly’s trademark sense of humour, and Jeremy’s passion for his heritage, This Morning viewers will become immersed in the couple’s journey of discovery in deciding whether Italian life really is right for them,” a source told the Mail.

“The barn is an interesting talking point too as it could potentially become their dream home… if they can get the goats to move out first!”

Viewers will see the pair weigh up pros and cons on whether they should move to Italy, while also embracing the culture and life in the countryside.

The series, which kicks off on Wednesday, sees them face challenges when they’re thrown into farming life on Jeremy’s family’s olive farm.

Fans can expect to see brunette beauty Kelly get hands on as she mucks in with looking after the livestock and harvest.

Kelly previously told The Sun that she had no intention of getting back on TV – saying she already feels “semi-retired”.

On signing up for the BBC One reality show, Kelly said: “Race Across The World was a bit left-field.

“It wasn’t something I was pursuing to get back on TV, it was just an incredible experience.

“I have no interest in other reality TV shows and I have no ambition to be stuck in a jungle with a bunch of people I don’t like.”

Kelly added: “I feel like I have already semi-retired. I am certainly not a bikini model any more and am not acting any more.

“I have been doing radio for the last five years and they say I have a face for radio these days. It’s not by choice — I think they retired me.”

She also told The Sun in September that she was quitting modelling after growing tired of posing for “the male gaze”.

She added: “It’s very hard having been a bikini model all through my 20s and then you hit 30 and they still want me to do calendars.

“I’m just not there for the male gaze any more.

“I’m married and I’m very happy being in my 40s.”

In an interview with OK Magazine, Kelly has opened up on the real reason she and Jeremy have not discussed children and it could be because of their time on the reality TV show.

Kelly revealed that she and her husband had yet to decide where they wanted to live in the world and, as such, couldn’t think about having children.

The Heart FM star told the publication: “We have our little fur baby dog, Teddy, but I’m not sure about having children yet.

“At the moment we are focused on work and where we want to live in the world.

“It’s very hard to think about children when you don’t know where you might be living.

“We need to be more settled before we think about children.”

The couple will return to the Arpino countryside, where they tied the knot in 2022.

I’m A Celebrity’s Sam Thompson reveals who could join him in Australia - and it’s good news for one campmate

I’M A Celeb star Sam Thompson has revealed his best pal Pete Wicks may join him in Australia if he is booted off Strictly.

Sam, 32, is set to host the ITV show’s returning spin-off Unpacked alongside former contestant Joel Dommett, 39, and Capital radio host Kemi Rodgers, 29.

Former Towie star Pete, 36, met Sam in the jungle after he won last year’s series.

As well as a reunion with Sam, it could pave the way for Pete to support former Love Islander Maura Higgins, 33 – his latest love interest, who is set to appear in the jungle.

Asked who he will miss most out of Pete and his girlfriend Zara McDermott, 27, Sam deliberated and said: “Probably Zara because Pete is so stressed with Strictly.

“I’ve never seen a man so stressed with his dancing because he’s having to learn a whole new skill.

“I’ve got to say my girlfriend, I don’t want to get in trouble.

“Pete did say if he gets booted out of Strictly he might come out and see me. We’ll get to have another bridge reunion.”

Hinting at what to expect for the return of Unpacked – which discusses the events of the main show and which last aired in 2020 – Sam added: “During the show I might be roving around.

“I may not always just be on the sofa, and there may be places that are very close to the campmates, which is really cool.

“It’s going to be a different show to Extra Camp, which is really important to us.

“We want this to be something new, fresh and exciting. So watch this space.”

Zara McDermott brutally shuts down Sam Thompson’s dream of being Ant and Dec’s best friend as he heads to I’m A Celeb jungle

Comedian and presenter Joel, who was a campmate on the 2016 series, revealed his luxury item on the show was a framed picture of hosts Ant and Dec.

He said: “I didn’t get it in the end because I did it as a joke, but it got to the point where others were putting themselves through some horrible challenge to get it for me, and I was like ‘don’t worry about my one!’.

“There would be nothing worse than me getting a picture of Ant and Dec and them not getting a sentimental item like a pillow with their children on.

Kemi, meanwhile, said she would like to give I’m A Celeb a crack one day – but that she is terrified of spiders.

She said: “I’m so terrified of things but I think I would

“It’s a great personal challenge and hearing the guys speak about it so warmly.

“Sam and Joel both had amazing experiences in there. I think they would convince me to do it.

“I’m a bit of a scaredy cat, I’m not gonna lie. I’m a bit of a wimp, I’d be that contestant that’s absolutely screaming and shrieking my head off but I’d give it a good go.”

Did Kevin Costner’s John Dutton die? Yellowstone viewers in shock over episode nine twist

*Warning – Major spoilers ahead for Yellowstone season five, part two, ahead*

Questions over Kevin Costner’s involvement in the second part of Yellowstone’s fifth and final season were answered almost immediately in the series’ return on Sunday.

At the start of the ninth episode, titled “Desire Is All You Need,” Costner’s family patriarch John Dutton is found dead in the bathroom of the Montana governor’s mansion. It appears he suffered a gunshot wound to the head but it’s unclear how he sustained the fatal injury. The body of a man is seen – in part – lying dead on the ground; though, Costner’s face is not shown.

John’s son Jamie (Wes Bentley) – who is the Montana attorney general – then calls a press conference where he announces that his father was found dead by suicide.

It comes after Yellowstone director Christina Voros teased that Costner would play an “integral” role in the drama’s conclusion despite his exit being announced in June.

On Twitter/X, many fans reacted in dismay to the way Costner’s lead character was dispatched so quickly.

“If THAT’S how they decide to end a great character like John Dutton… THAT’S BULLS***,” one furious viewer wrote.

“John Dutton was a fantastic character, and despite the Kevin Costner drama, he deserved a better goodbye than Yellowstone gave him,” wrote another.

A third added: “So @Yellowstone already lame for killing off John Dutton. I know it was issues with getting Costner onboard. But this was so lame.”

“Damn. They killed John Dutton off in the first minute. That’s so freaking savage,” wrote a fourth.

Costner, who led Yellowstone as the Montana landowner for four and a half seasons, announced he was departing the hit series due to scheduling issues.

“I did it for five years, and I wanted to work more than once a year,” he said on a June episode of the Today Show. “We lost an entire year at one point, and I thought, that can’t happen again.”

He added that he “would love to go back” to Yellowstone, albeit “under the right circumstances.”

Reports had initially suggested that his departure was due to a falling out with the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, over conflicts caused by the actor’s desire to shoot his Western passion project, Horizon – An American Saga.

In an April interview with The Independent, Luke Grimes – who plays Kayce Dutton – said of Costner’s exit: “Whatever happened there is unfortunate if it’s changed anything about how the show was going to unfold. I know, [Costner] got busy with his movies that were like passion projects. At a certain point, you gotta do what you gotta do, man; you gotta do what you love.”

Costner remains the first cast member named in the opening credits and appears in the end credits in his capacity as an executive producer.
