Thank you so much for watching! Hope you enjoyed it!

If you’re new to my channel and videos, hi! I’m Evan Edinger, and I make weekly “comedy” videos every Sunday evening. As an American living in London I love noticing the funny differences between the cultures and one of my most popular video series is my British VS American one. I’m also known for making terrible puns so sorry in advance. Hope to see you around, and I’ll see you next Sunday! 🙂

If you want to know HOW I make my videos including gear, lighting, all the tiddly bits that connect it all together, (with cheaper alternatives and kit I used to use), I’ve listed each item, what it’s great at, and why I use it on the gear section of my website here:

The German state media mafia has modernized their basis for collecting license fees very effectively: You exist, you pay propaganda tax.

Firstly….. We do not watch tv in my house…..not live, not online , on any device and we don't have a tv…. we are not interested!
After receiving the initial 'this address doesn't have a license' letters, after we moved in, i knew i wasn't obligated to but i 'declared', on the tv license website, that i don't need a license. …… and 2 years later…… and 2 years after that. Last week, i got a letter saying that 'someone' had been watching iplayer , in recent weeks, at this address and my 'declaration' was now invalid…… this was a blatent lie! Then i found out that other folk, who have also used the 'declaration' option, had also received the same letter. I am furious! It seems the 'declaration' is just a means to get your name……. i will not bother declaring again. This is gaslighting and harrassment. They can swivel!

Apparently, if you're not a customer, 'you could be lying and therefore a criminal'…….. i don't have a pilots license but Boeing don't harass me in case i might have a 747 in my back yard.

theyve added youtube live streams to the list of things you have to pay for. they make it really poorly wordfed so people dont realise they mean things streamed from tv onto youtube like the paralympic live coverage or the BBC coverage of nanny lizzies death party

  12. @clownbag

    October 21, 2024 at 12:59 pm

You can tell them you dont need a tv license online, and then you stop getting the letters. At least that worked for me. Never did get an enforcement officer to my door, thankfully. I live in a rough area. I think they may have given up on us. 😂

  13. @josephfoulger9628

    October 21, 2024 at 12:59 pm

The licence is such good value. BBC is the worlds biggest and one of the best news, weather, current affairs organisations plus all of the radio and bbc sounds and sports coverage online or on the app. I have 5 different bbc apps on my phone. I’m 35 and I reckon I’ve used bbc services nearly every day of my life, and these days probably dozens of times a day. The independent programming that the BBC funds has given us lots of the greatest tv shows ever made and all without needing to keep corporations happy. We ought to be more proud of the bbc in this country.

Unless they have evidence of a crime, the "enforcement officer" cannot get a warrant to enter your home, and lack of tv licence is not a crime! These so called officers are only trying to sell you a licence regardless. If you do not watch any live tv, (Iincludes live satellite transmissions and BBC iPlayer), you do not need a licence. That's it, £159 saved a year. Watch ordinary streamed tv, Netflix, Disney, Prime etc, and you still don't need a licence. So you just say, (and i loved the Scots reply,) " No thanks," close the door firmly in their face, and go back to your cuppa. They won't stop the threatening letters so you may need a bigger bucket for paper recycling!I

  17. @jonprice3342

    October 21, 2024 at 12:59 pm

A Television Licence is required by law if you watch or record anything LIVE as it's being broadcast from a set top reciever or on an app on any device and for BBC content on BBC iPlayer

You don't need a TV Licence to watch video on demand or catch up services, for personal media and monitoring purposes. Having a TV without obtaining a TV licence is completely legal.

  18. @MoniiChanTheUnicorn

    October 21, 2024 at 12:59 pm

They need to scrap the tv liscence per household and just take it as a small tax – simple; plus all the money and paper that would be saved on those stupid letters and threatening officers

Even those who do not watch live TV have probably used BBC website for news and education during school (bbc bitesize). If as a country we agree that public broadcasting is important then why make it an opt in scenario, it is not an opt in scenario for me to pay for roads/pavements/parks etc.

Not saying this is correct because it IS illegal, but what is the incentive to pay for something you can just have for free by doing nothing?

  19. @scott72able

    October 21, 2024 at 12:59 pm

Pensioners DO NOT PAY for their TV licence and haven’t been required to do so for years. Do better research.

Menendez Brothers are not a danger to society, says district attorney

Menendez Brothers are not a danger to society, says district attorney

Convicted murderers Erik and Lyle Menendez are not a danger to society, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón.

The Menendez brothers, who are serving life sentences for the 1989 murders of their parents, José and Kitty, have been back in the public eye since the release of Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

In a new interview with People, Gascón was asked whether he considered the pair dangerous and replied: “Based on everything that I know, I don’t believe that they are.

“Quite frankly, they probably haven’t been for a very long time, if they ever were. I think this is not like they were going around killing people or robbing people on the street.”

In the interview, Gascón said he planned to make a decision on whether to recommend resentencing the brothers by the end of the week, after after he discusses the case with his office’s habeas and resentencing units. A judge will ultimately decide their fate.

“I’ll be listening to not only the briefing, but recommendations from both teams,” said Gascón. “That also plays a role. Because they’re not just sort of an agnostic presenter. They’re going to be presenting what they think should be the outcome. I expect one will be saying, ‘No relief,’ one will be saying, ‘Yes, provide relief,’ and I’ll evaluate both of them.”

Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian called for the brothers to be released, weeks after the reality star visited them in prison.

In a personal essay for NBC News, Kardashian wrote: “We are all products of our experiences. They shape who we were, who we are, and who we will be. Physiologically and psychologically, time changes us, and I doubt anyone would claim to be the same person they were at 18. I know I’m not!”

The Kardashians star went on to argue that the case against the brothers is “much more complex than it appears on the surface.”

She argued that the sexual, physical and emotional abuse the pair claimed they suffered at the hands of their parents was not adequately taken into account and that media attention around the case meant “Erik and Lyle had no chance of a fair trial.”

While she acknowledged that “the killings are not excusable,” Kardashian said she believes “the trial and punishment these brothers received were more befitting a serial killer than two individuals who endured years of sexual abuse by the very people they loved and trusted.”

Kardashian is a longtime advocate for criminal justice reform and is reported to have discussed prison reform with the inmates during her prison visit.

Monsters stars Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny as José and Kitty, with Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez as the brothers.

Since the series arrived on Netflix, viewers have been cautioning others on social media about the graphic nature of the violence depicted in the show.

However, according to the Mail the pair were seen getting VERY close at the afterparty for the Pride of Britain Awards.

“Things have clearly turned romantic as they were all over each other.

“At one point she ran her hands through his hair under his hat, and they were cuddling loads too.

“They looked really cosy and comfortable with each other.”

The pair first got fans all hot under the collar when they were pictured kissing in a posh bar in London.

An onlooker told The Sun Pete came to join Maura at the posh five star hotel where she had been having lunch with friends.

They said: “Maura had been sitting on the terrace with friends for an hour before Pete arrived.

“After they’d sat there for a while Maura went in for a long kiss with Pete. It wasn’t the kind of kiss you’d give a friend, it was very passionate.

“Maura and Pete seemed to be really into each other and kept looking into each other’s eyes before kissing again a number of times.

“When it got dark they moved into the hotel’s Flute bar and Pete sat with his arm around Maura all evening.

“They were all over each other. They looked totally in love and weren’t trying to hide it from anyone.”

Pete and Maura, who appeared on Love Island in 2019, were also spotted together in public at the TV Bafta awards in May.

Chivalrous Pete was photographed helping Maura into a taxi following the party at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

The Strictly has star recently addressed the ongoing romance rumours.

It came when the former Towie star appeared on Olivia Attwood‘s podcast.

Getting straight to the point she said to him: “Your dating life. Maura Higgins…”

To which Pete replied: “Me and Maura have known each other for a long time.”

Olivia was keen on hearing more, and said: “You’ve had a kiss, we’ve seen it!”

But Pete denied there was anything more than friendship between the duo, replying: “No, you haven’t seen it.”

However, Olivia seemed insistent on getting to the bottom of the story as she continued to press her pal.

Doubling down, she stated: “We’ve seen a picture of it,” as Pete continued to deny the existence of such an image.
