Vanessa Hudgens Welcomes 2nd Baby With Cole Tucker, Bursts Blood Vessels
Vanessa Hudgens and her husband, Cole Tucker, have welcomed their second baby.
“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” Hudgens, 36, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, November 29, announcing the birth while sharing a pic from the hospital. “What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
In a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories, Hudgens revealed that she popped a blood vessel during labor and delivery.
“Labor: Poppin out babies and blood vessels lol,” she captioned a selfie.
The High School Musical star announced her second pregnancy via Instagram in July, captioning photos of herself and Tucker showing off her baby bump, “Round two!!!!”
Hudgens and the former MLB player began dating in 2020 after meeting in a meditation session on Zoom. Us Weekly confirmed in February 2023 that the couple were engaged. Two months later, Hudgens revealed that she knew right away Tucker was The One.
“After our first weekend together, I called my sister and was like, ‘I think I just found my future husband,’” she recalled on the Today show in April 2023.

Before tying the knot, Hudgens and Tucker were already making plans to have children together.
“They both want a family now and that’s what’s driving them toward getting married [soon],” a source exclusively told Us in June 2023, adding that Hudgens had “no doubt” Tucker would make a great dad.
The pair ultimately exchanged vows in Tulum, Mexico, in December 2023, with Hudgens describing it to Vogue as “genuinely the most magical weekend of my life.”
In March 2024, Hudgens announced that she was pregnant with her and Tucker’s first baby by revealing her growing bump on the Oscars red carpet.
“[Cole] treats her better than any guy she has been with. They are in a really good place,” an insider told Us at the time. “With marriage and a baby, she is ready for the next phase of life.”
The following month, a separate source shared that Tucker had not “left Vanessa’s side throughout her pregnancy,” which was “only making her fall even more in love with him.”
News broke in July 2024 that Hudgens had given birth to the couple’s first baby. “Mom, Dad and baby are happy and healthy,” she wrote via her Instagram Story, calling it a “special time” for the family of three. (The pair have yet to publicly reveal their eldest child’s name or gender.)
One month before announcing her second pregnancy, Hudgens offered a rare glimpse into her and Tucker’s lives as parents.
“Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy in the world,” she gushed via her Instagram Story in June. “You make parenting so much more fun, musical and magical.”
