Young and the Restless Next Week: Cane’s Furious Outburst & Ian’s Confirmed Return to Genoa City

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) - Ian Ward (Ray Wise)

Young and the Restless spoilers for next week dive into Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)’s outrage and a shocker with Ian Ward (Ray Wise), plus Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks)’s fear as her wife’s crimes come to light and the cops go chasing her down.

Young and the Restless Next Week: Billy Visits Cane

Let’s start with Cane Ashby. At the end of this week, he gets a visit from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’s worried about Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)’s failing heart. That’s when Cane Ashby told Billy Abbott that the contracts are being written for him to take control of Chancellor. As of now, it looks like Cane Ashby and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have the bulk of Newman Enterprises under their control. It’s official.

What’s wild to me in this is how Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and the others are all playing victim and acting like they did something unprecedented and awful when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) literally did this exact same thing to Cane Ashby six weeks ago. This is a page straight from The Mustache’s playbook. Victor Newman had a huge butt-kicking coming from Karma. And the things he’s done to Phyllis Summers are absolutely disgusting.

I know she’s unhinged. But in a way, I think he is a big part of the reason she is. Victor Newman put a stranger in her bed. A lot of soap fans call that flat-out having Phyllis Summers raped. So maybe some people feel bad for Victor Newman; I don’t. Plus, I’m certain that he’s going to bounce back just fine and rebuild his company stronger and better than ever. Victor Newman will come out of this fine.

Cane Ashby and Billy Abbott Conflict Over Chancellor’s Future on Young and the Restless

For now, though, Cane Ashby is in control and things are going great for them. He’s a little upset to hear from Billy Abbott that Jill Abbott’s heart is getting weaker and that she can barely breathe. Billy Abbott also tells Cane Ashby that he doesn’t want him to tell Jill Abbott what’s going on with Newman Enterprises and Chancellor because that will upset her and it could worsen her health situation.

Cane Ashby and Billy Abbott debate how Jill Abbott would react to what Cane Ashby has done. In the end, Billy Abbott asks Cane Ashby to hold off on the press release that reveals Billy Abbott as the new CEO of Chancellor. Cane Ashby agrees to go ahead and hold back on that. They talk about how Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has issues with Billy Abbott taking Chancellor from him.

Then Cane Ashby talks about dealing with him and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and that’s over and done. And he should have known better than to even try to make it happen. When Billy Abbott jokes that Cane Ashby won’t be alone because he’ll have Phyllis Summers, Cane Ashby makes it clear that is not love. That’s sex and business, but not affection.

Lily Winters and the Twins Go Missing in a Dangerous Game

Things take a huge turn next week regarding Lily Winters and Cane Ashby because he gets word that Lily Winters and the twins are missing. Cane Ashby goes and confronts Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about it. And Cane Ashby is accusing Adam Newman of knowing that Victor Newman took Lily Winters and the twins. But Adam Newman claps back that he is not his father’s keeper.

Cane Ashby says that Adam Newman and Victor Newman are playing some sort of sick game. We know that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s okay with Victor Newman doing this. But I kind of suspect that Victor Newman and Adam Newman don’t really kidnap Lily Winters and the twins. I think that Victor Newman might have talked Lily Winters into playing along and pretending to be kidnapped in hopes that it’ll get Cane Ashby to stop what he’s doing.

Young and the Restless: Cane Rages

Cane Ashby is angry that his family has been threatened in this way. But even if Cane Ashby stops the AI from attacking Victor Newman’s company, it’s pretty much a done deal. I could see Phyllis Summers finding a way to keep things going even if Cane Ashby wants to take a step back because of this. Bottom line, Phyllis Summers isn’t going to be sympathetic at all about Lily Winters being supposedly snatched. And she may even tell Cane Ashby that this is Victor Newman bluffing.

Mariah Copeland Snatches Dominic Chancellor Amidst a Mental Health Spiral

Now let’s talk about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). At the end of this week, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are frantic because Dominic Chancellor (River & Rainn Ware) has been missing overnight. When Devon Hamilton and Abby Newman check the surveillance camera, they notice that Dominic Chancellor wasn’t afraid of the person that took him. They can’t see that person. But they know that he’s not scared.

Devon Hamilton and Abby Newman think it’s someone they know. Then at Crimson Lights, they run into Tessa Porter and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). We’ll see Abby Newman and Devon Hamilton tell them that Dominic Chancellor was taken. And they show them the scarf that was dropped outside the house. Tessa Porter is immediately horrified.

She knows that scarf belongs to Mariah Copeland. It’s a custom-made, one-of-a-kind piece that Tessa Porter got for Mariah Copeland a couple of years ago. There’s no doubt in her mind. That leaves Devon Hamilton wondering why Mariah would take their son, Dominic Chancellor. Abby Newman tries to call Mariah Copeland. But of course, she doesn’t answer.

Tessa Porter explains to Abby Newman and Devon Hamilton that Mariah Copeland has been in this spiral for a while, checked herself out of a mental health facility in Boston. And has basically disappeared. They wonder if there’s some other way that would explain Mariah Copeland’s scarf being there. But Abby Newman thinks it’s quite clear that Mariah Copeland did this and took Dominic Chancellor.

Police Search for Mariah Copeland and the Shocking Return of Ian Ward

The cops call to tell Abby Newman and Devon Hamilton that a boy matching Dominic Chancellor’s description was seen at a motel with somebody. They take off and meet the cops. Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland loads Dominic Chancellor in her car to take off again. But accidentally drops one of his gloves. Mariah Copeland is crying in the car, kind of freaking out Dominic Chancellor. But she lies to him to calm him down.

Devon Hamilton and Abby Newman confirm to the cops that, yes, that’s Dominic Chancellor’s mitten. And they see Mariah Copeland with Dominic Chancellor on security footage. Abby Newman also calls to let Victor Newman know that Mariah Copeland snatched Dominic Chancellor and the police are busy searching for them. Tessa Porter is horrified and she asks Daniel Romalotti, “What could Mariah Copeland be thinking?”

Next week on Young and the Restless, spoilers have Tessa Porter telling Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) what happened and says they are not dealing with the Mariah Copeland they know and love. Tessa Porter says that Mariah Copeland has changed and tells Sharon Newman that what Mariah Copeland is doing right now scares the hell out of her.

Young and the Restless: Ian Guides Mariah

Meanwhile, Ian Ward is in the car with Mariah Copeland and he’s telling her she knows what needs to be done. Ian Ward tells Mariah Copeland next week to keep her eye on the prize. But then from the backseat, Dominic Chancellor says, “Papa, what the heck?”

All along, we’ve been presented with the notion that Ian Ward was a hallucination in Mariah Copeland’s brain. Is Ian Ward really in the car with them? Is that who Dominic Chancellor is talking about when he says, “Papa?” We all know that Ian Ward is really alive. But nobody in Genoa City knows it.

We may get a huge shocker next week if it turns out Mariah is hanging out with the real, not-dead Ian Ward and she’s not just imagining him. Mariah Copeland has maybe known for a while that she was really hanging out with Ian Ward, unless there’s an alternate explanation like he’s drugging her like he was doing with Sharon Newman. Who knows with him.

Sienna Bacall and Noah Newman Face a Crossroads

Also next week, Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) runs into Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) who says she’s going back to Los Angeles. Claire Grace Newman asks Sienna Bacall, “What about Noah Newman (Rory Gibson)?” Sienna Bacall says, “Yeah, he may be going along with her.”

Claire Grace Newman wants to know if that’s not what Sienna Bacall really wants. It seems to me that she may want to leave Noah Newman in her rearview, leave him in Genoa City But if so, she’s going to have to just go ahead and call it off with him to get him to stay.

As we head into the first full week of February sweeps, Young and the Restless is lit. Be sure to check out our full weekly spoilers video for the week of February 2nd through the 6th, plus our weekly prediction, two-week spoilers, and lots more.

Kids Today Will Never Understand Network TV’s Most Powerful Hype Machine

By Robert Scucci
| Published

Sit down around the fire, my lads, and let me enlighten you on the relic of ancient media known as clip chows. Back in my day, cable TV ruled the landscape, and sitcoms ran for 22 to 26 episodes a season. Week after week, we’d go on a new adventure, wondering what kind of trouble Homer Simpson, Ross and Rachel, Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, and Jerry and the Seinfeld gang would get themselves into. But toward the end of any given season, there wouldn’t be a new adventure. Instead, we’d get the dreaded clip show.

I call the clip show “dreaded” because most people didn’t like them. I had no strong feelings either way. The idea of reusing content under the guise of a new episode never really bugged me so long as it served a purpose. As long as the episode was framed in a way that was palatable, I was all for it. I always saw it as a greatest hits reel, and if there was a solid framing device, it was a great way to revisit some of the best moments from any given series.

But there’s more to Clip Shows than meets the eye. They were important to a series’ health in a world where DVDs weren’t yet ubiquitous, and home media consumption hadn’t exploded into what it is today. In the streaming era, the idea of a clip show is rightfully preposterous. That’s why Friends, which concluded its run in 2004, used them often, while How I Met Your Mother, which debuted in 2005, mostly avoided them outside of the occasional flashback-heavy episode.

What’s The Point Of A Clip Show?

Home Improvement had some of the best Clip Shows because they were framed around Tim Taylor’s horrible decision-making. Season 4 featured two back-to-back clip shows, “Tool Time After Dark: Parts 1 & 2.” The series had just hit its stride and quickly became appointment viewing for millions of American families. But writers get tired, cast and crew members need downtime, budgets get stretched thin, and the show must go on.

So how did Home Improvement handle it?

Tim eats too much Polish food, gets laid out on the couch, and spends both episodes wrapped in blankets, drinking antacid through a bendy straw while watching reruns of Tool Time. It’s a clip show done right. It’s essentially a bottle episode that only really required Tim Allen on set for a majority of its runtime, saving on payroll toward the end of Season 4. It’s also a clean framing device that lets casual viewers catch up on the show’s best moments.

Budget And Back-End Sales

Star Trek: The Next Generations least popular episode was a clip show

Clip Shows served two very specific purposes: saving money and marketing.

Star Trek: The Next Generation’s first and only clip show, Season 2’s “Shades of Gray,” was famously hated by fans, but it was born out of necessity. The showrunners spent so much of the season’s budget building elaborate set pieces for episodes like “Elementary, Dear Data” and “Q Who,” that they didn’t have enough funds to properly finish the season. The result is an episode centered around William T. Riker experiencing flashbacks to earlier events in the series. It’s widely considered one of the show’s worst episodes, but those earlier episodes helped introduce the Borg into franchise canon. Sounds like a fair trade-off in the grand scheme of things

Series like Home Improvement, The Simpsons, and Friends used Clip Shows differently. This was the sitcom golden age, when serialization wasn’t required. Sure, there was continuity from season to season, but for the most part, you could jump into a random episode and follow along just fine. It was during a time when clip shows ruled the land.

Clip Shows Thrived In A Pre-DVD Era

You couldn’t always walk into Walmart and buy three copies of Time Cop

Clip Shows offered a crash course in a series’ best moments for casual viewers. Circling back to Home Improvement in its fourth season, anyone just getting into the show had to decide whether they wanted to start from scratch with reruns through syndication. DVDs were introduced in the U.S. in 1997, but most households didn’t adopt them until the early to mid 2000s.

And why would they? After decades of collecting VHS tapes, switching to an unproven format meant dropping a significant amount of cash on something that wasn’t yet proven by the market. Early, primitive DVD players cost up to $600, and then you still had to buy the DVDs in order to watch anything on them.

Tim Taylor watching a Tool Time clip show in a Home Improvement clip show

Networks wanted more eyes on their shows, and VHS tapes could only hold a handful of episodes. The Simpsons had specialty tapes like Treehouse of Horror collections, but full-season releases weren’t really a thing yet, and if they were during the VHS era, we’d all have to rent storage units to contain them. If you were tuning into Home Improvement for the first time and caught “Tool Time After Dark” by happenstance, you’d get everything you needed. Tim’s reckless habits, his ongoing dietary mishaps, and a highlight reel of Tool Time disasters.

Clip Shows were a sizzle reel. They were basically saying, “If you like any of this, there’s plenty more where that came from. Stick around.” Clip Shows were the greatest hits albums of network television, and in this context they thrived.

Changes In Consumption Habits Killed The Clip Show

How I Met Your Mother doesn’t have clip shows because fans could just buy the DVDs

Once DVDs proved they were here to stay, Clip Shows disappeared almost overnight. There was no need for them. Consumers could buy entire seasons at a reasonable price and own them forever. If you wanted to turn someone into a fan, you didn’t need a sampler platter. You could just show them a handful of great episodes from your DVD collection.

Then, in 2005, YouTube launched. Early on, it was mostly home videos and clips from shows like Family Guy that people wanted to pass around via email; it made sharing standout moments even easier.

Streaming, and the ability to pull any clip you want from YouTube, were the final nails in the coffin for clip shows

As home media became more accessible, Clip Shows became unnecessary. Good shows marketed themselves through word of mouth. The streaming era brought us shorter, more serialized seasons, making them even less practical. They worked in an episodic format where you could mix and match, but when you’re dealing with season-long story arcs, there’s no clean way to justify them.

These days, If I want to introduce a friend to The Simpsons, which is nearing 40 years worth of episodes, I’m not throwing on “So It’s Come To This: A Simpsons Clip Show.” I’m pulling up Disney+ or digging through my physical media and making them watch “Bart on the Road,” “You Only Move Twice,” and “Duffless.”

But kids today, watching a clip show out of context on streaming, will never understand how differently we consumed media in the 90s and early 2000s, or how necessary clip shows were for getting people hooked on a series in the first place.

Netflix’s 8-Part Overlooked Drama Becomes a Late-Night Sleeper Hit Months After Its Release

Published

on

Sydney Agudong and Julia Chan in Ripple

While Netflix’s Top 10 streaming charts are usually filled with some major household names, some unexpected surprises often manage to find their way to the top. Currently, while the third season of XO, Kitty is reigning supreme on the platform, most of the other top TV shows on the list are smaller, less buzzed-about projects that are drawing in viewers more than anticipated. Among them is Ripple, an eight-episode drama series that’s equal parts soapy and endearing.

The series, which was initially ordered by Hallmark+ and later bought by Netflix, was first released on December 3, 2025. At the time, the series also picked up traction and rose to Netflix’s Top 10. Now, per FlixPatrol, it’s surging in streaming all over again at #8.

What Is ‘Ripple’ About?

Taking place in New York City, Ripple follows four strangers as their lives suddenly intertwine, and they become a close-knit chosen family to one another throughout the series. Among them is Nate (Ian Harding), a kind bartender who’s separated from his wife and can’t seem to kick a persistent cough. In the first episode, he connects with Kris (Julia Chan), a record executive who’s just lost her job and is looking to start a new chapter. That’s when Aria (Sydney Agudong) comes in. After giving up her music career and struggling with depression at home with her finance husband John (Robert Bazzocchi), Aria gets a second chance at her dream when Kris hears her sing, and believes in her talent more than anyone else.

The last piece of the puzzle is Walter (Frankie Faison), who, in the first episode, is giddy celebrating his 30th wedding anniversary with his wife, Brenda (Tina Lifford). When he wakes up, however, Walter suffers an unfathomable loss, and it turns his world upside down. As the series introduces these characters, it connects them through an invisible string (or, better yet, rock). After letting go of a blue pebble while looking off her balcony, Aria accidentally hits Nate on the head, who’s just passing by. The cut leads him to the ER, and uncovers a health battle he would’ve never found otherwise. The next day, after Walter picks up the pebble and releases it in Central Park, Kris trips on it, and it leads to Aria singing with her guitar. Albeit a tad cliché, Ripple suggests that these four strangers are meant to find one another, and help each other through their personal crises.

Your Assignment Has Been Made
You Belong In…

Your answers have pointed to one fictional hospital above all others. This is the ward your instincts, your temperament, and your particular brand of dysfunction were built for.

Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center

The Pitt

You are built for the most unsparing version of emergency medicine television has ever shown — one that puts you inside a single fifteen-hour shift and doesn’t let you look away.

  • You need your work to be real, not romanticised — meaning over drama, honesty over aesthetics.
  • You find purpose inside the work itself, not in the chaos surrounding it.
  • You’ve made peace with the fact that this job takes from you constantly, and gives back in ways that are harder to name.
  • Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center demands exactly that kind of person — and you would not want to be anywhere else.

County General Hospital, Chicago

ER

You are the person who keeps the whole floor running — not the most brilliant in the room, but possibly the most essential.

  • You show up, do the work, absorb the losses, and come back the next day without needing the job to be anything other than what it is.
  • You care about patients as individual human beings, not as cases to solve or dramas to live through.
  • You believe in the system even when it fails you — and you understand that emergency medicine is about holding the line just long enough.
  • ER is television about endurance. You have it.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Seattle

Grey’s Anatomy

You came to medicine with your whole self — your ambition, your emotions, your relationships, your history — and you have never quite managed to leave any of it at the door.

  • You feel things fully and form deep attachments to the people you work with.
  • Your personal and professional lives are permanently, chaotically entangled — and that entanglement drives both your greatest disasters and your most remarkable saves.
  • You understand that extraordinary medicine often happens at the intersection of clinical skill and profound human connection.
  • It’s messy at Grey Sloan. You would not have it any other way.

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, NJ

House

You are drawn to the problem above everything else — the symptom that doesn’t fit, the diagnosis hiding underneath the obvious one.

  • You’re not primarily motivated by the patient as a person — though you are capable of caring, even if you’d deny it.
  • You work best when the stakes are highest and the standard answer is wrong.
  • Princeton-Plainsboro exists to house one extraordinary, impossible mind — and everyone around that mind is there because they’re smart enough to keep up.
  • The only way forward here is to think harder than everyone else in the room. That is exactly what you do.

Sacred Heart Hospital, California

Scrubs

You understand that medicine is tragic and absurd in almost equal measure — and that the only sane response is to hold both of those things at the same time.

  • You are warm, self-aware, and funnier than most people in your field.
  • You use humour to get through terrible moments — and at Sacred Heart, that’s not a flaw, it’s a survival strategy.
  • You lean on the people around you and let them lean back. The laughter and the grief are genuinely inseparable here.
  • Scrubs is a show about learning to become someone worthy of the job. You are still very much in the middle of that process — which is exactly right.

‘Ripple’ Is a Soapy Yet Bingeworthy Drama

While fans of soapy Hallmark shows and telenovelas might already be sold on the story, the series might be a change for Netflix subscribers. After all, TV shows that lean into the too-sweet, sappy side aren’t exactly Netflix’s bread and butter. With that said, however, the series, created by Michele Giannusa, has an undeniable strength in drawing viewers in through its writing and performances. By establishing their own touching stories, and showing that they’re a part of something larger, almost pre-destined, viewers of the first episode are immediately compelled to watch more and see how their personal stories unfold. So while most Netflix audiences might find the series cheesy, chances are they’ll continue watching it until the very end.

The 35 Best TV Shows About Dysfunctional Families, Ranked

For messy family drama.

Among the highlights of the show are the performances by the main characters, including Pretty Little Liars alum Harding. In one of his most heart-wrenching roles to date, he nails being a detached business owner who suddenly has his world rocked by a health battle. It shifts him off-center, puts everything into perspective, and strips his walls more than ever. Plus, Nate’s connection with Kris is electric onscreen, with viewers tuning in just to see their chemistry. On Rotten Tomatoes, the series has scored an impressive 80% with the audience, with many drawing comparisons to the show and the six-season NBC drama This Is Us. “The characters, the stories, the backdrop, the heartache, the laughs….all make to make for a perfect series,” wrote one review. “Much like This is Us, this series intertwines the lives of strangers in NYC who become family. Like a good book, I hated for it to end.”

With all that said, while Ripple has yet to be officially renewed for a Season 2, the drama series has become a true underdog hit for Netflix. Ever since its release in December, the series has continued to draw in and captivate fans, often surging up the charts and into Netflix’s Top 10. And while the premise might lean a tad cliché and soapy, it seems to be filling a void Netflix viewers have been looking for.

General Hospital: Jordan’s Tragic Car Crash – Who’s REALLY Guilty Behind the Wheel?

Published

on

General Hospital: Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper)

General Hospital puts Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) fighting for her life after her horrific car crash. And we still don’t know exactly who caused the wreck. And there’s just details that are lacking. There are several people who were on the road and may have played a role in causing this accident.

We’re going to talk about who may be at fault for sending Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan off the road and into that guard rail. Alright, let’s dive into who is at fault for this terrible wreck.

Jordan and Curtis’ Horrific Crash on General Hospital

All right. So, this week we saw Jordan and Curtis Ashford headed out for a romantic evening when things took a scary turn and they wound up in the same lane as an oncoming car and Jordan yanked the wheel and then they ran into the guardrail and sparks were flying and it was catastrophic. Airbags, all that stuff. Along with Jordan and Curtis, there were three other cars on the road that night that we know of and possibly more than that. And any of them could have played a role in this crash.

So, if you’re keeping track, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was on the road heading to Charlie’s to see Gio. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was on the way to Lulu Spencer‘s (Alexa Havins) house to see Rocco Falconeri and loved up cousins Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) were out for a teen joy ride.

So far, it’s unclear who was the other car that was involved in Jordan and Curtis’s crash, and there might have been more than two cars at play. The worst part is, no matter who is at fault, no other cars stopped and checked to see if Jordan and Curtis were all right. They just kept driving for whatever reason until, of course, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) rolled up on the wreck.

Was Brook Lynn Involved on GH?

And right now, Brook Lynn and Isaiah are both looking a little sketchy. But one person in particular who stands out to many fans is Brook Lynn. Before she drove, she and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) were having a glass of wine at the Quartermaine Mansion. They were catching up on Sidwell (Carlo Rota) chatter. And then Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) called to tell Brook Lynn that their son Gio was playing guitar at the Charlie’s reopening. And Dante said Brook Lynn should hurry and get down there to see Gio. So Brook Lynn put down her wine glass and rushed out.

Now, when Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was looking at the bottle later, there was about half of it left. So, she and Lucy each had about a glass of wine each. That’s not a terrible amount of alcohol, but it is enough to impair judgment and slow reaction time while you’re driving, but that’s not what really stands out about Brook Lynn to fans. It was her behavior at Charlie’s after that that had people wondering because Brook Lynn seemed off. Dante noticed it and certainly viewers noticed it.

BLQ Looks Guilty on General Hospital

Brook Lynn was giving off what many are calling guilty vibes. And of course, she’s a good person, and you’d think that she would stop if she had caused Jordan’s car accident, but maybe Brook Lynn panicked. Plus, she was in a rush, and she desperately wanted to see Gio and maybe didn’t realize how bad the accident was.

But regardless, if Brook Lynn caused the wreck or she witnessed it, obviously, she should have stopped. And we know now that Jordan is certainly not okay. She is in really rough shape. She has one kidney anyway, which isn’t, you know, as many as you need.

And that one is bleeding. And she is now in emergency surgery. Things look dire. So, it is possible that BLQ could be the other driver involved and is responsible, at least in part, for this terrible thing that has happened to Jordan.

Could Isaiah Be At Fault on GH?

But there are other possible culprits to talk about. Next, let’s talk about Isaiah. So, he was on his way over to Lulu’s to check on Rocco Falconeri’s infected hand that was bad. It was a staph infection. You know, it looked bad and he had a fever.

And of course, Lulu didn’t want to take Rocco to GH because Lulu doesn’t want anybody to see the wound or they may realize it is from a gun. So, Isaiah was rushing to get to Rocco and Lulu so he could hurry back to pregnant Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) who was waiting at the cabin.

And when Isaiah did get back to Portia at the cabin, she asked where he was because she called GH and he wasn’t there and he said it was a private client and still it seemed like he was gone maybe a little longer than he should have been. And then Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) called Portia to tell her about the accident.

And she told Isaiah that things don’t look good for Jordan. And Portia mentioned that car accidents can be unpredictable. So, it could easily have been him. He was right there along that same stretch of road. And Isaiah kind of had this reaction. He was staring off into space. And honestly, he seemed a little rattled.

General Hospital: Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper)General Hospital: Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper)
General Hospital: Jordan Ashford

Isaiah Seems Shook on General Hospital

So, we had Brook Lynn looking dodgy on one episode and then we had Isaiah seeming a little rattled on another. So, it’s possible he was the other car involved with Jordan’s. Now, Isaiah is a doctor. He is also a good person and of course wouldn’t leave the scene of an accident knowingly, but maybe he was distracted because he was in a rush and he didn’t realize the other car ran into the guardrail and it was so serious.

Now, I don’t think Isaiah would have driven by if he realized there was a car crash, whether he was involved with Jordan’s wreck or not. And of course, things turn near fatal with the gas leak and Curtis struggling to get her door pried open. So, we have to say Isaiah is a possible other culprit.

Charlotte and Danny Suspicious

Next, of course, we got Charlotte and Danny. Those two seem suspicious from the start because they lied when they called Carly and said they had car trouble. I mean, I guess smashing your car is a form of trouble. That is definitely suspicious. And Danny said he was driving, but maybe that was to protect Charlotte on General Hospital.

If you remember, she told Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the other day that she’s a really safe driver. But if Charlotte and Danny were playing loud music or they were flirting, they might have been distracted. And Carly flat out asked if they caused the accident Jordan was in, but really didn’t get an answer to that.

Did Sidwell Order The Hit on GH?

So, if it was BLQ or Isaiah or Danny and Charlotte, the crash obviously wasn’t intentional. But there’s a couple of other things to consider. One is that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) might have sent somebody out to run Jordan off the road. If he found out she was planning to use his grief over Marco Rios‘s (Adrian Anchondo) death as an opportunity to take him down, Sidwell might have had her run off the road.

Plus, he threatened Jordan the other day about Marco’s investigation, and he might have had her followed, and then somebody overheard her talking and Sidwell may have realized that she’s been disloyal this whole time. That would definitely get her marked for death.

Jordan Shares Some Blame Too

And one last thing to consider is this. Jordan herself was clearly a contributor to this car crash. She was not driving carefully. She and Curtis were flirting, gazing at each other, and smooching. That is not good driving. Your eyes belong on the road.

Yet, Jordan kept glancing over at Curtis and he was being very distracting. So, he’s got some culpability, too. He was playing with her thigh and then both thought it was a good idea to kiss while she’s driving down this windy road. So, I do think Jordan and Curtis share some blame out of sheer carelessness.

Things do not look good for Jordan. So, we’ll see if she survives this ordeal. We may not find out until next week if Curtis’ lovely lady lives or dies. And I’m guessing the identity of the other driver stays hidden until later this month, closer to May sweeps, but we’ll see.

Ben Affleck’s $60M Gift To Jennifer Lopez Raises Eyebrows

Published

Ben Affleck is joined by two of his kids as he walks the Pacific Palisades 4th of July parade with their dogs

In a twist straight out of a Hollywood script, Ben Affleck has reportedly walked away from tens of millions of dollars, a move that will surely stun many fans.

What started as a luxury love nest has now become the centerpiece of one of the most surprising post-divorce developments, raising eyebrows across the entertainment world and sparking speculation about his motives.

Ben Affleck’s Jaw-Dropping Mansion Decision

The story sounds almost unbelievable at first glance.

According to TMZ, Ben Affleck “handed over his entire interest in the $60 million mansion he bought with then-wife Jennifer Lopez.”

This means the actor freely let go of tens of millions of dollars.

The revelation quickly sent shockwaves through celebrity circles, with many questioning why the Oscar-winning actor would willingly part with such a massive financial stake.

The property, once a symbol of their rekindled romance, has now become a headline-making asset in their split.

Court filings appear to confirm the surprising move. Documents obtained by TMZ show that the former couple amended their settlement agreement, referencing a “transfer of property among spouses.”

However, what truly stunned insiders was the reported detail behind the paperwork.

Sources cited by the outlet claim, “Ben GAVE Jen his entire stake in the property — FOR FREE!!!”

While the legal language may seem routine, the implications are anything but.

Giving up ownership of a multimillion-dollar estate without compensation is far from typical, especially in high-profile celebrity divorces where every asset is usually fiercely negotiated.

A Mansion That Refused To Sell

The lavish estate itself has had a rocky journey. When the couple purchased the property in May 2023, they paid a staggering $60,850,000 in cash and reportedly invested millions more into upgrades.

Despite its opulence, the mansion has struggled to find a buyer. It was first listed publicly in July 2024, just weeks before their split became official, but has lingered on the market ever since.

The initial asking price of $68 million was later slashed to $52 million, yet interest has remained surprisingly low.

For now, the sprawling property remains in Jennifer Lopez’s hands, as she continues renovations on another home she recently acquired.

Many observers believe Ben Affleck’s financial position may help explain his unexpected generosity.

The actor reportedly struck gold with the sale of his artificial intelligence venture, InterPositive, to Netflix for a reported $600 million.

With that kind of windfall, walking away from a portion of real estate, even one worth tens of millions, may not carry the same weight.

Still, the move has left fans divided.

Several fans have taken to Reddit to share their thoughts on Affleck’s reported move.

Reacting to the TMZ report, one fan shared that Affleck’s move might have been his way of letting go of the property after several failed attempts to sell it.

They wrote, “Article mentions they’ve been trying to sell the house publicly since July 2024, a month before they filed. He probably just wants to get rid of it at this point.”

Another person noted that Affleck was trying to “clean up his image” with the move. They wrote, “He’s trying to clean up his image. Needs to cut ties with his toxic pattern of women. It’s also why he ignored Blake Lively’s emails for help taking over a movie. He’s trying to move on.”

The Redditor added, “Dude has gone out of his way to make his life hard. When you struggle with addiction and questionable morals, it’s hard to not let that ruin your life completely. Ben needs to clean up his image and change his patterns or he will keep digging his hole. His kids will thank him for it.”

Meanwhile, a third person urged another actor involved in a bitter divorce to take notes from Affleck. They wrote, “Could Brad Pitt take notes? Because while Ben may not know how to stay married, he is sooo fucking good at getting divorced.”

While the financial headlines dominate, Lopez’s personal journey since the split has also captured attention.

As The Blast reported, the singer and actress recently made waves during a Las Vegas performance when she had a playful moment with a fan named Ben.

As the crowd cheered, Lopez joked, “Can we bring him up here? Yes, you.”

Moments later, she added, “Oh yes, look at this guy, we’re gonna take him for everything that he’s got,” before asking his name.

When the fan replied “Ben,” her reaction was immediate and telling, an audible, “ugh,” followed by laughter that quickly went viral online.

New Amanda Bynes Song

Amanda Bynes has flipped the script on her career, trading in potential movie roles for melodies.

The former actress, 40, dropped a new single called “Girlfriend” on Friday, April 10, a track that “blends melodic rap with EDM-inspired production, creating a catchy, high-replay record with a smooth West Coast bounce,” her label, Create Music Group, told Us Weekly.

“Built around a strong hook and confident, flirt-heavy energy, [the song is] designed for repeat listens and wide playlist appeal,” her label shared in a statement to Us. “Featuring [hip-hop artist] Fenix Flexin, it taps into a familiar L.A. sound while staying fresh and accessible.”

Bynes, whose label has worked with various chart-topping performers including Jason Derulo, Keri Hilson and Deadmau5, also told Us, “My inspo was a lot of EDM [electronic dance music] as well as rap.”

Following Batula’s social media post, many fans have shared their reactions. Overall, many found her statement to be vague, and some called her out for not taking accountability for the harm that Miller has faced due to the affair with Wilson.

One person wrote, “She should mention Ciara and stop being vague.” Another “Summer House” fan said, “Translation: I did a sh-tty thing because I wanted to. Don’t at me because my mental health is fragile and I shouldn’t be held accountable for how my actions hurt others.”

Another person said, “Bad people will always use the dog to shoulder part of the burden of responsibility they don’t want to hold.”

There Have Been Many Reactions To Amanda & West

Batula and Wilson released a joint statement on Instagram on March 31, saying they had been romantically involved after several weeks of speculation. Following that, there have been many reactions, especially given the fact that Batula is friends with Miller.

Per Bravo, Cohen reacted on “Radio Andy.” He said, “I will say that I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this. I did not. I have so many questions, and the reunion is coming up. And, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”

He added, “I do think it’s worth reminding everybody, all the passionate fans of the show, that these are real people involved. Just know these are real people who are dealing with a lot.”

Additionally, Beauvais recently spoke to E! News and gave her reaction. She stated that while she doesn’t watch “Summer House,” she was aware of the scandal.

Regarding her take, Beauvais said, “Girl code, girl code, girl code. Period.” She also said she’s on Miller’s side, stating, “I don’t know her…but just being a girl, and having girl code, yeah. And [Ciara’s] beautiful, she’s going to be just fine. I just want her to get the treatment as you know who.”

Beauvais seemed to be referring to Ariana Madix, who two Bravo co-stars also wronged. She went on to host “Love Island USA” and to star on Broadway in “Chicago.”

Ciara Miller Reportedly Learned About The Relationship Earlier

MEGA

According to TMZ, Miller gained knowledge of the affair between Wilson and Batula after obtaining a video showing them being intimate in his apartment. According to the report, neither of the two was aware they were being filmed.

An insider also told the outlet that Batula sent Miller a text at some point in March, claiming that she never intended to cause harm with the affair. Additionally, she told her friend that she wanted to sort things out with Wilson before discussing their romance.

It’s unclear who sent Miller the alleged video footage of Batula and Wilson, or whether she informed anyone else about it. The “Summer House” season 10 reunion will be filmed in April 2026.

Angelina Jolie’s Sexiest R-Rated Thriller Is A Violent, Wicked Romance

Angelina Jolie's Sexiest R-Rated Thriller Is A Violent, Wicked Romance

By Jonathan Klotz
| Published

What do you get when you pair Angelina Jolie with one of the sexiest leading men in Hollywood? Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt, but that’s not her sexiest movie. Gone in 60 Seconds with Nicolas Cage is another good guess. The answer is 2001’s Original Sin with Antonio Banderas. A historical romance that would fit right in with today’s new wave of bodice rippers, this 19th-century bodice-ripper is currently streaming for free on Tubi.

Original Sin Is A Romance Novel Come To Life

Set in Cuba, Original Sin starts off as most historical romances do: Luis (Banderas), a rich landowner, wants a wife, and no one in Cuba will do. He’s been writing letters to Julia (Jolie), a young woman living in Delaware, who’s on her way to Cuba for their first face-to-face meeting. Julia looks nothing like the photos she sent, and Luis has also been lying about being a poor clerk. From the get-go, the two are madly in love with each other, even as they agree neither one is to be trusted. Luis thinks it’s a bit of a jest, not knowing that “Julia” is an imposter.

They get married that day, consummate the marriage that night, and the next morning. “Julia” soon gets access to all of Luis wealth as a sign of his trust as her plan comes to fruition. Until Detective Downs (Thomas Jane) arrives on the island, and now the early scene of “Julia” narrating the story to a priest from inside a prison cell starts to make sense. Thankfully, that’s only the start of Original Sin’s twisted love story.

The Best Historical Romance Of The 2000’s

There’s a reason romance is the most popular genre in every bookstore. Original Sin is 25 years old but the story it tells is timeless. Attractive people doing bad things to each other is the bedrock of Hollywood. Erotic thrillers, historical romance, those films have mainly migrated to streamers with most of the sex scenes stripped out. Original Sin is from long before that trend started, and yet, both Banderas and Jolie look stunning in their period garb both in and out of the bedroom. Unlike other thrillers, this book adaptation, based on the 1947 Cornell Woolrich novel, Waltz into Darkness, remembered to make the story and characters as appealing as the stars themselves.

The problem with Original Sin is that everyone is playing their roles with all the subtly of a soap opera, which led critics and viewers at the time to rip it apart with negative reviews. Critics went after the dialogue and the plot for being unbelievable, likely because they hadn’t opened up a romance novel in decades. A bodice ripper, an erotic thriller, a historical romance, Original Sin is all three of them, and fans of all of those want the type of wild fantasy romance that lets them get swept up and carried away.

Original Sin 2001

Original Sin isn’t the best movie for either Antonio Banderas or Angelina Jolie. Those are Mask of Zorro and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, respectively, but among their thrillers, it’s untouched. Every single campy trope you’d want is found in its under two-hour runtime. There’s nothing wrong with turning off your brain and enjoying gorgeous stars acting out a telenovela against the beautiful backdrop of 19th-century Cuba, and thanks to Tubi, it’s a free experience.
