For many years Gisele Bundchen was labeled as the highest paid model in the world, however she’s been edged-out by other models like Cara Delevingne, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and others who are making a name in the industry.
Together, the world’s ten highest-paid models bank a cumulative sum of over $120 million. All have used social media to raise their profiles. Online popularity has helped models such as Chrissy Teigen and Rosie Huntington-Whitely branch out into other businesses. Teigen has a line of cookware, released a second cookbook and is the host of the television show Lip Sync Battle, while Hungtington-Whitely has expanded from her popular products at British retailer Marks & Spencer into her own beauty website, Rose Inc.

Adut Akech:
Born during a journey to the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, South Sudanese native Adut Akech is currently one of the fashion industry’s most in-demand talents, as well as one of TIME’s “Most Influential Teens of 2018.”
Having spent her earliest days as a refugee, Adut and her family eventually emigrated to Adelaide, Australia, where she lived out her life as a student and joined a local modeling agency. In 2016, she was cast as a global exclusive for Anthony Vaccarello’s debut Saint Laurent show. Since then, she has become the muse of renowned designers, such as Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli, who brought her to the 2018 Met Gala, and Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld, who has tapped Adut to open and close multiple shows for the brand. She has also walked for Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Miu Miu, Prada, Versace, and more.
To date, Adut has shot campaigns for Fendi, Moschino, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Versace, etc. She has also appeared on the covers or within the pages of American Vogue, British Vogue, Italian Vogue, Vogue Paris, Vogue Korea, i-D, and more, working with legendary photographers such as Steven Meisel, Inez & Vinoodh, and Tim Walker. Her personal journey has been already covered by the likes of CNN and the New York Times, The Guardian, and many more, with TIME recognizing her as one of the “25 Most Influential Teens of 2018.”
Outside of her career in fashion, Adut has recently begun working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in order to promote causes that support refugees around the world. Italian nun splits up two female models kissing for a photoshoot calling it ‘the devil’s work’
This is the moment a furious nun split up two female models as they shared a kiss for a magazine photoshoot in Italy.
The unidentified nun – dressed in her all white habit – saw red as she walked past Serena de Ferrari and Briton Kyshan Wilson taking part in the shoot in a Naples backstreet.
Dragging the two women apart as they locked lips, the nun shouted:’ What are you doing? This is the devil’s work,’ as the women giggled at her outburst.
Both women – who also star in a popular Italian TV soap called Mare Fuori were taking part in the shoot for Not Yet magazine.
The nun reprimanded the camera crew and the two women before crossing herself and saying: ‘Jesus, Joseph and Mary.’
Make up artist Roberta Mastalia, who was on the shoot, said: ‘We were on location in the Spanish Quarter in Naples, in a little sidestreet with the two models when all of a sudden the nun walked past.
‘She asked us if we had been to Mass that day and when we said ‘No’ she started blaming young people for Coronavirus and then she saw the two models posing up ready to kiss and that’s when she ran forward to split them up.
Our first reaction was we were all stunned the new took it as a bit of a joke and in fact a you can see from the video the two girls are laughing.
‘We then had to ask the nun to leave as we explained we had work to do and she slowly walked off.’
Serena posted a still from the video on her Instagram page with the comment: ‘God doesn’t love LGBT’ while London born Kyshan, 19, also uploaded it onto her feed.
Antonello Sannino, of a local gay community group Arcigay, said:’ It was homophobic behaviour from the nun but at least she wasn’t aggressive. It seems as if the nun was quiet outraged by what she saw which would be understandable if it was another era.’
Local priest Father Salvatore Giuliano said: ‘The Church has always been updating its views but in all walks of society, even in ours, some members, maybe of the older generation have not kept up with the latest changes.

For people wondering why Kendall is number 1:
TV always had a way more spotlight than modelling , newcomer or small actors may be sometimes underpaid or paid like average people, but newcomers or small models are mostly underpaid or paid like average (small) person. The audience always knew a way more about cinematography and as a fashion fanatic,I assure you than after 3 years nobody knows even well known models. People mostly follow VS Angels/Models , The 80s or 90s supers and models who had a spot in television.
That’s why in the past few years,models started to switch from modelling to acting/hosting: they either change or get extra spotlight on modelling too.
That’s also why most of the models in this list , if not all of them,starred in television and why their Net Worth is at almost half of their modelling earning.
KUWLT gained a lot of spotlight from Americans,and that’s the reason why Kendall is the highest paid,celebrities often gain brand contracts,many of these models did indeed, so is no surprise that Kendall is the highest paid because she is has years of television spotlight and so many brand contracts of all kind.
It’s not because of nepotism,if you read her interview about her beginning and how they didn’t accept her you’ll understand. Nepotism is what unfortunately Kaia Gerber had (her Vogue Video about her literally first NYFW) or what many Dolce and Gabbana models/commercial models have nowadays.

You have to understand that the market has changed with social media and celebrity status that some models carry. I don't think some of the girls on the list are highest paid models, they are highest paid celebrity-model,they are not necessarily hired for their skills but rather hired for their following, family name and how much tabloid exposure they have.
