Vogue Portugal November 2024 The Icons Issue

Estimated read time 2 min read

Vogue Portugal is undoubtedly one of the strongest editions of Vogue available on the market. Month after month, issue after issue, cover after cover, the effort and dedication of the team behind the magazine is simply unmatched. As editor-in-chief of Portuguese Vogue, Sofia Lucas sure does favor themed issues. The theme for Vogue Portugal November 2024 is icons. Cover one sees model Sasha Konograeva pay homage to the late Franca Sozzani via the lens of Jesús Isnard. Cover two is a tribute to Dolly Parton while iconic British model Twiggy poses for Rachell Smith in cover three. The fourth cover lensed by Bohdan Bohdanov sees Sara Giacomini morph into screen legend Bette Davis. Lulu De Freitas embodies Prince in the fifth and final cover offering, complete with photography from Élio Nogueira.

“The Franca Sozzani cover is perfect,” avonlea002 echoed.

“I’m often on Vogue Portugal’s back for these incessant themed issues but I’m a fan of this. The cover dedicated to Franca Sozzani is sublime, executed to absolute perfection by all of those involved. Such a beautiful image, easily one of the most beautiful covers of 2024!” voiced vogue28.

Also quick to applaud Vogue Portugal’s efforts was forum member Ihhbl. “So creative. I really enjoy all of them, each giving a different feeling,” they enthused.
