Event dressing has always topped Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach’s priority list, which they again ascertained at the Golden Globes 2025 in stunning Louis Vuitton dresses. While admirers recovered from the burnt-orange ball gown she nailed on the red carpet, the style icon quietly slipped into a side-baring second dress. Elle Magazine pointed out how the outfit switch went unnoticed until she posed with “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri for photographs at the awards ceremony. Later, her longtime and trusted stylist shared glimpses of the look in an Instagram video.
Zendaya opts for a slinky halter dress for her second look of the night
Zendaya stunned in not one but two remarkable Louis Vuitton dresses at the 2025 Golden Globes, which was more than just another awards ceremony for her. While her nomination in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category for “Challengers” didn’t come to fruition, these outfits and the massive stone on her finger did the job. First, she nailed her red carpet look in a custom strapless ball gown that she paired with Bulgari jewelry.
Later, Zendaya opted for a slinky, halterneck dress for her second look for the night that almost went unnoticed. The cream-colored halter outfit comprised a plunging neckline with gold beaded embellishments and a barely-there design on the back. In addition, it consisted of a risqué slit with the thinnest strap connecting the back to the neckline. She topped off the look with nude stilettos and the same wavy bob she debuted on the red carpet earlier with the orange gown. However, the actor ditched the heavy jewelry with only one diamond ring on her finger.
Zendaya attending the Golden Globes 2025 marked her return to the award ceremony after several years. Her previous appearance was in 2016. In fact, stylist Law Roach deemed the occasion fit for two iconic dresses and dropped a clip of both looks in separate Instagram videos. The first clip exhibited the gorgeous gown while the next one showed the star cheekily posing on a bed to show off the second dress. Roach also credited the luxury fashion house’s artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière.
