Get ready for GamesBeat Insider Series: Hollywood and Games on December 12 in LA

[ad_1]

I hope you’re ready for the GamesBeat Insider Series: Hollywood and Games event, our next conference for the GamesBeat community. I’ve been looking forward to talking about our next half-day event on December 12 in Los Angeles.

It seems like we just finished GamesBeat Next 2024 to look at technologies and strategies at the edge of the gaming market to find the next wave of growth. Now we’ll take advantage of the draw of Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards, which takes place on the same day and brings the cognoscenti to downtown Los Angeles.

Our second annual event will be at the Grammy Museum again in the LA Live complex, not so far from site of The Game Awards. It seems like Keighley is, intentionally or not, having success creating an excuse for a whole series of events to take place throughout the whole week.

I’m lining up previews and interviews for people coming into town for the show. And that’s who we’re targeting for our event — director level and above decision makers in the game industry, especially those at the center of games and Hollywood.

Our speaker roster

Our roster of speakers for our Hollywood and Games event includes Eunice Lee, Dmitri M. Johnson and Matthew Ball.

I’m very proud to talk about some of our speakers at GamesBeat Insider Series: Hollywood and Games. You can see the list below. It’s an honor to have these thought leaders on our topics, which include game adaptations, women in games and entertainment, taking brands into new markets, user-generated content, AI and games and adapting games for TV series like the recent Fallout show.

Our Hollywood and Games speakers for December 12, 2024, at the Grammy Museum.

Event details

The event is not affiliated with The Game Awards and is solely produced by VentureBeat’s GamesBeat division.

GamesBeat Insider Series: Hollywood and Games will take place from 8 am Pacific time until 1 pm Pacific on December 12. The proceedings will start at 9 am and end at 1 pm, with plenty of time left over to get ready for The Game Awards. It will be at the Clive Davis Theater at Grammy Museum at 800 West Olympic Boulevard in LA Live, close to the location for The Game Awards.

The conference is meant to catch people coming into town for The Game Awards and provide them with some thought-provoking conversations as well as great networking at The Grammy Museum. We’re filling up some very targeted dinners as well, by invitation only.
