✨ The Workout: 35-Minute Dumbbell HIIT Workout (Intense Pyramid, Full Body HIIT)✨

► EQUIPMENT: Medium-to-heavy set of dumbbells. We’re using 15-20 lb dumbbells for this workout.

► INSTRUCTIONS:
✔️ 6 Exercises
✔️ Performed in a Pyramid Format:
1️⃣ Set 1: Perform move 1 for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds of rest.
2️⃣ Set 2: Perform move 1 for 30 seconds and then move 2 for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds of rest.
3️⃣ Set 3: Perform move 1 for 30 seconds, and then move 2 for 30 seconds, and then move 3 for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds of rest.
⭐️ Continue this stack-on, pyramid format until you complete moves 1 through 6. Then you have the option to go back down the pyramid in reverse order, dropping off move 1, then move 2, then move 3 and so on.

►Workout Outline:
1️⃣ Staggered Squat Pulse + Switch
2️⃣ Hammer Curl + 1 Front Shoulder Raise
3️⃣ 2 Back Rows + Clean + 2 Reverse Lunges
4️⃣ 1 Push Up + 1 Lateral Bear Walk
5️⃣ Dumbbell Burpee + Clean + Press
6️⃣ 2 Lateral Squats + Crunch

    Love your Pyramid Workouts!!!!! I have used 10 lbs weights in the last few, I thought I would try 12 lbs!!!! Holy Bananasand was able to maintain throughout the workout!!!! I feel awesome!!!!!

    Pyramid always get me!! the first 30s of work and 30s of rest tricks me to think that it’s gonna be easy but them DAM the 3 minutes periods of work hiits on the top of the pyramid and im just bailing my eyes with sweat! pyramid my fav type of workout on your channel Lindsay!

A full body workout hitting all of the major muscle groups in the upper body, and using static lunges as a staple to target the entire lower body with some RDLs for more hamstring specific! Finishing with an absolute abdominal burnout!

The timer will be on for 60 seconds per exercise with 20 seconds rest in between!

All you will need is a pair of dumbbells and your mat!

The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 17.5kg for most of the workout! I will reduce to 9kg each for shoulder press and holding during abs section!

These are straight forward compound movements with full range movement and standard tempo to allow you to perhaps lift that little bit heavier compared to if consisting of isometrics, tempo or partial reps!

The biceps are worked within the rows and triceps during chest press & shoulder press! There are no specific arms exercises due to this and compound movements such as chest press and rows recruit a lot more muscles over isolation so perfect for shorter workouts!

We finish with some ab specific exercises! Let’s focus on really holding that crunch during the leg lowers, pushing the lower back well into the mat and during toe reaches, how high can you crunch and reach whilst controlling the lowering back to mat? 😁

Perfect workout when you want a full body resistance workout in 30 minutes!
