The soft drink giant is known worldwide for its various beverages including Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and the original Coca-Cola which comes in the iconic red can.

Coke even comes in various flavours including the likes of vanilla, cherry and lemon.

The company is also responsible for a number of other brands including Sprite, Fanta, Dr Pepper and Schweppes.

Reddit sparks debate over best Coca-Cola flavour

Reddit post sparked the debate recently about the most popular Coke flavour.

The post asked fellow users which flavour they preferred – Vanilla or Cherry.

Coca-Cola fans were divided, with an even spread of votes posted for both.

But others threw in alternatives.

Some said the now discontinued Cherry Vanilla flavour was the best, a combination of the two.

Another added Coca-Cola Lime, which has recently returned to stores in the UK, was the best.

While a third Reddit user commented: “There can be only one – it’s the original Coca-Cola.”

What is the most popular Coca-Cola flavour?

We asked readers what their favourite flavour of Coca-Cola was and the original version came out on top with 33,806 votes (31%).

The next best, according to readers in our poll (at the time of writing), was Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, which received 28,141 votes (25%).
