Man faces 4 charges in connection with harassment at a Toronto home

A 34-year-old man wanted on charges of harassment, loiter/prowl at night, mischief and breach of probation in Toronto has been arrested.

It’s alleged that between March 22 and April 3, the suspect showed up at the home of the victim in the Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West area on several occasions.

It’s further alleged that the suspect remained near the home and sometimes caused damage to the property.

Cops say the suspect, Joanasie Mingeriak of no fixed address, and the victim were not known to each other.

Mingeriak has been charged with harassment by watching and besetting, loiter/prowl at night on other person’s property, mischief obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property and breach of probation.

WOMAN CHARGED IN DRUG TRAFFICKING CASE

Hamilton Police have charged a 33-year-old woman for drug trafficking.

Cops say that on Saturday around 4 p.m., officers saw the female suspect trespassing on a property near York Boulevard and Park Street North and allege she was seen with illegal drugs in her possession and was subsequently arrested.

Officers searched her belongings and allegedly discovered six grams of fentanyl, 32.50 grams of crack cocaine, Canadian currency consistent with drug trafficking and a working digital scale.

She was also found to be violating conditions of a release order and faces two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl and cocaine, proceeds of crime under $5,000 and fail to comply with probation.

MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG TRAFFICKING

A man has been charged with drug trafficking by Hamilton Police after cops allegedly came across occupants in vehicle doing drugs on Friday around 10:15 a.m in the area of Wentworth Street North and King Street East.

Under the authority of the Cannabis Control Act, officers searched the vehicle as well as all occupants within it and one male was allegedly found with 12 grams of cannabis, 12 grams of crack cocaine, Canadian currency consistent with drug trafficking and a working digital scale.

He’s been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, proceeds of crime under $5,000, and drive vehicle with cannabis readily available.
