Police appeal for next of kin of man who has died in Farnworth

Police appeal for next of kin of man who has died in Farnworth

Officers say that James Masterson died at his home on Thirlmere Grove in Farnworth on March 7 of this year.

A spokesman for GMP Bolton said:” Do you know the next of kin of a man from Farnworth.

“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

“Any information?

” Call the Police Coroner’s Office on 0161 856 4687.”

Police often put out appeals like this to help them trace the relatives of people who have died around the region before establishing a cause of death.

In UK law, there is no legal definition of “next of kin”, but it is usually understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.

Once the police have the details that they need, they will be passed along to the coroners’ office to allow a full cause of death to be established.
