Are you angry the Chagos money isn’t being spent on hospitals and schools in Britain? VOTE NOW

GB News Political Correspondent Katherine Forster confronted Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer yesterday over the Chagos Islands deal with Mauritius.
Forster grilled Starmer over how he could justify spending “100 million a year, billions over 99 years” on the agreement while failing to fund disability support.
The challenge came after Starmer signed the agreement to hand over sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, following a dramatic legal challenge from Chagossians who felt their human rights were being breached.
In response, Starmer defended the expenditure, stating: “The first duty of a Prime Minister is to keep the country safe and secure, and this base is vital in that respect.”
He added that the base “costs less year on year than running an aircraft carrier without the aircraft” when compared to other defence spending.
