Hearts for Homes in Bridge Street, Ramsbottom, has been relaunched as Pretty Things, offering new stock and workshop opportunities for customers.
Shop owner Kerry Khan, 51, previously worked as an NHS nurse before she decided to open the shop in 2016, which was originally located in Bolton Street.
In 2018, the shop then relocated to bigger premises in Bridge Street to expand its stock.
After the pandemic, when Kerry was considering opening another shop, she was approached about purchasing a former tea room next to her business.
And in 2022, she took up this offer and opened the Hearts for Homes café with its bright pink and floral decoration inspired by cafes Kerry has visited in London.
Kerry, from Unsworth and now lives in Bury, said: “Things are very difficult on the high street and have been for the past couple of years, so we wanted to change it up and see if we can generate new interest and perhaps new customers too.”
Kerry added: “We have had a successful relaunch event with complimentary cupcakes and fizz.
“Customers are loving the change, the new look and the new stock.
“There’s going to be a lot to look forward to!”
The shop will also be launching a website at the end of the month to run alongside the shop.
This will give customers the chance to order its products online.
