85-year-old taken to Hospital after Peasholme Green crash

North Yorkshire Police are investigating a crash which took place last Thursday evening (November 13) in Peasholme Green, York, involving a bus and silver Toyota Prius.

It is thought to have happened around 5.10pm and an 85-year-old passenger on the bus was taken to York Hospital, where she was found to have suffered a broken rib and minor injuries.

“She was discharged following treatment and is being looked after by family at home,” said a spokesperson for the force.

Police said they are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, anyone who may have seen the vehicles involved prior to the incident, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to get in touch with them.
