I’m A Celebrity typically isolates the campmates ahead of their debut on the show, confiscating their phones so that there is no communication beforehand.

Aitch said: ‘We spoke a couple days beforehand saying “Are you ready for this? Yeah, let’s go. Let’s go”.’

‘Either way, we need to take this crown back to Manchester somehow.’

Aitch proved himself right in the end, as Ginge was crowned King of the Jungle, securing well over half of the vote when he was named the 2025 winner.

Ginge received 53 per cent of the vote in the final three, before scoring 65 per cent in the final two with Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson, who received 35 per cent in the final.

After winning, Ginge told co-hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in the jungle treehouse studio above the main camp: ‘I feel amazing. Honestly, dream come true.

‘I did not think I’d go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted.’

Read Wilson, Ginge, and McGarty were revealed as the finalists after rapper Aitch became the ninth campmate to leave the Australian jungle following a public vote on Saturday – narrowly missing out on the buffet final meals.

For his dish, Ginge chose a Coke, a double cheeseburger and chips, pepperoni pizza, chicken tenders, and a carrot cake for dessert.

The internet star said: ‘Do you know what makes this even better? The fact we’ve earned it. We’ve suffered trial after trial, challenge after challenge.’
