As the new year begins, many people will be looking forward to big events they have planned for this year. For some, this may mean kickstarting wedding plans or putting the final touches on their 2026 wedding.

Whether you’re set on what you want or need some inspiration to get you started, a wedding fair is a great place to go to explore your options and meet different suppliers.

In Cambridgeshire, there are five wedding fairs happening throughout 2026, with the first taking place on January 18. The fairs are spread across the county, taking place in Huntingdon, Peterborough, Cambridge, and St Ives. One is just a quick trip over the border to Sandy in Bedfordshire.

The Cambridgeshire Grand Wedding Fair

Location: Huntingdon Racecourse

Date & time: January 18, 11am-3pm

There will be over 50 of the region’s suppliers all under one roof, ready to help plan the perfect wedding. If seeking the perfect dress is the mission of the day, then there will be professional fashion shows happening thoughout the day showcasing the latest styles as well as inspiration for bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and the groom too.

When you need a break from all things wedding, there will be live entertainment including dancers, live comedians, and a brass band.

The Big Peterborough Wedding Show

Location: Holiday Inn, Peterborough – West by IHG

Admission fee: Free

Registering your attendance for this fair is recommended, and will also mean you get a complimentary goodie bag on arrival. The show will offer the chance to meet a range of suppliers who are on hand to help plan the big day.

The Cambridge Luxury Wedding Fair

Location: Graduate by Hilton Cambridge

Date & time: March 22, 11am-3pm

Admission fee: Free

Local wedding suppliers will be on hand to help make your wedding unforgettable. There will be opportunities for cake taste testing, making memories with a trip to the photobooth and some live music too.

Brides will be able to try on some dresses and watch the fashion shows where the latest trends will be on display. Couples can also discuss décor ideas and talk to photographers all under one roof.

The Cambridge Marina Wedding Fair

Location: Cambridge Marina, St Ives

Date & time: April 19, 11am-3pm

Admission fee: Free

This fair’s location on the marina may prove useful to those wanting to incorporate the water into their big day. The fair will have some unique suppliers who can help those wanting to arrive at their ceremony by boat or get married with a stunning river backdrop. There will also be plenty of food and accommodation options to explore.

The Quirky Wedding Fair

Location: Mill Farm, Sandy

Date & time: October 4, 11am-3pm

Admission fee: £5

The Quirky Wedding Fair claims to be the UK’s biggest alternative wedding fair “for rule-breakers and rebels”. It promises to offer something different than the ‘cookie cutter’ packages offered by other suppliers.

The fair will include live music, street food, and circus performers, as well as a wealth of knowledgeable suppliers.

The event is sponsored by Tipis 4 Hire, and the tipis will be on display for those thinking of bringing some festival vibes to their big day. There may also be a tractor or two.

Tickets are £5 each, with half of ticket sales going to the fair’s chosen charity, Amy & Friends.
