She also demanded the victim’s body be easily found and stated she ‘did not care if others who lived in the home were harmed’.
A US adult film actress has been sentenced to jail after attempting to hire a hitman to kill the father of her child.
Katrina Lynn Danforth, who performed under the stage name Lynn Pleasant, admitted using phone calls and mail to solicit the murder.
Danforth, who appeared in eight adult films between 2005 and 2010, was caught after unwittingly giving her phone number to an undercover officer. In October, she met with the officer in Idaho and agreed to pay $5,000 (£3,800) for the hit, providing “specific requirements that the hitman was to accomplish,” according to US reports.
Court records reveal that she also demanded the victim’s body be easily found and stated she “did not care if others who lived in the home were harmed” as long as her child was not affected. Evidence included a thank-you card mailed to the undercover officer containing the money as a down payment for the hit. She was arrested by the FBI the following day.
In 2020, Danforth pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Recordings of her conversations with the undercover officer were played in court as part of the case.
Meanwhile, in Indonesia, another adult film performer was arrested for violating the country’s strict anti-pornography laws. Fransiska Candra Novitasari, 25, also known as Sisakee, was among 11 individuals detained following the release of her latest explicit video online.
This marks her second arrest in two years. She previously served 10 months in prison over OnlyFans content and, after ignoring two prior court summonses, now faces another extended sentence.
The arrest comes nearly two years after she was apprehended for filming an explicit video at Yogyakarta International Airport, where she exposed her chest and raised her skirt in a public area, drawing condemnation from authorities.
A police official at the time said: “It is inappropriate as it shows the woman’s breasts and genitals in a public area. Airports have to maintain high security and this kind of vulgar behaviour is not allowed.”
