Anthony Joshua buys Oman's most expensive penthouse as Brit expands property portfolio before Jake Paul fight

ANTHONY JOSHUA has expended his property portfolio by purchasing Oman’s most expensive penthouse – days before fighting Jake Paul.

The Brit is counting down the hours as he gets ready to face the Youtuber-turned-boxer in a shock showdown at the Kaseye Centre in Miami, Florida.

The former two-time unified heavyweight champion goes into the December 19 bout as the overwhelming favourite.

And while he fully intends to provide a knockout blow in the ring, he has found that big hit – worth £1.2million – in the property market outside it.

AJ has splashed the cash to secure the 15,300 sq ft penthouse, the Sky Palace, in the new Park Lane 101 development in Sultan Haitham City.

The purchase marks a first investment in Oman and it will see the 36-year-old become both a resident and investor in phase two of the Yenaier Residences development which is due to be completed by mid 2027.

AJ has already built an impressive reputation beyond the ring as a property investor and this is his latest venture in the market.

The penthouse features 360-degree panoramic views and it comes with a private boxing gym custom built to AJ’s specifications.

It is reported that it also comes with a dedicated spa and custom-designed interiors to provide that extra piece of luxury.

Joshua has revealed his is “proud” with his latest venture and his work inside and outside of the ring is down to “long-term thinking”

He said: “Discipline, community, and long-term thinking have shaped everything I do in and out of the ring. Yenaier represented those same principles.

“I am proud to be an early investor in what will become a truly world-class address.”

The bout marks Joshua’s first outing since his brutal fifth-round KO loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley last September.

Meanwhile, Paul was last in action in June when he defeated former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr via unanimous decision.
