Armed police called after van ‘stolen by men with machetes’

Shortly after 8.30am on Saturday (January 17), police were called to Piper Knowle Road in Hardwick, where the white van was reportedly stolen.

Cleveland Police said three men armed with machetes had taken the vehicle.

A spokesperson from Cleveland Police said: “Officers, including armed response, were called to the scene. Enquiries are now ongoing.”
