Baby in hospital after 'injury' at property in Scots town as police launch probe

Police say inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.

A baby is in hospital after becoming injured at a property in a Scots town.

Police were alerted to the incident at an address in Clackmannan, Clackmannanshire, at 8.05am on Sunday.

The 18-month-old infant was taken to hospital for treatment.

Their current condition is unknown.

Police say inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.05pm on Sunday, 16 November, 2025, we were made aware of an injured 18-month-old child at an address in Clackmannan.

“The child was taken to hospital for treatment. Inquiries are ongoing.”
