The 18-year-old won his second PDC World Darts Championship with girlfriend Faith Miller and social media influencer Angry Ginge celebrating his historic 7-1 victory over Gian van Veen

Luke Littler has etched his name into the history books once more, claiming his second PDC World Darts Championship title at just 18 years old with a commanding 7-1 victory over Gian van Veen.

Remarkably, in his three appearances at the tournament, the prodigy has reached the final each time, showcasing his extraordinary talent from such a young age.

The teenager’s meteoric rise to stardom, competing against opponents significantly older and more experienced, has required a solid support network around him. At every match, his parents have been present to offer guidance, alongside other close friends and family members.

Among those backing him throughout this latest historic campaign at the World Darts Championship was social media personality and ‘King of the Jungle’ Angry Ginge, who could be spotted cheering from Littler’s corner. Also present was the world No.1’s girlfriend, Faith Miller, who has made appearances at various points during the competition.

These familiar faces filled the Ally Pally crowd, celebrating the victory, but the support continued behind closed doors as well. The Littler entourage was filmed rallying around a specially arranged setup, greeting the two-time champion with rousing chants of: “Championes, championes, ole, ole ole,” reports the Mirror.

His partner, Faith, was first to embrace and kiss Littler in celebration, with the champion also spotted wiping away a tear from her cheek.

It speaks volumes about the unwavering support surrounding the darting prodigy, which has proved vital throughout his ascent to the pinnacle of the sport.

His journey on the global stage has not been without obstacles, from his explosive debut in 2024 – when the spotlight shone brightest upon him – to his latest triumph in 2026, where critics remain poised for any slip-up. The youngster’s initial run to the final ended in defeat against Luke Humphries, yet it foreshadowed what lay ahead as he sought to cement his reputation.

Littler’s victory over Michael van Gerwen in 2025 paved the way for a remarkable year in which he accumulated numerous tournament victories. One clear goal remained, though: securing the world championship title once more, which he accomplished in the 2026 competition.

While the final victory appeared comfortable, there was a flash of controversy when Littler was spotted venting frustration at spectators during his match against Rob Cross. Despite ‘The Nuke’ emerging victorious, he hit out at the Ally Pally crowd, insisting he was “not bothered”, while making a pointed remark about the prize money they had helped fund.

The backing from those closest to him has undoubtedly proved vital in maintaining his concentration, while the Ally Pally faithful once again rallied behind him enthusiastically. “It feels amazing. It’s what dreams are made of,” Littler remarked following his second World Championship triumph.

“Nothing will ever beat a first world title for anyone in any sport, because that’s the first time you’ve done it. But this was all about retaining it, bringing it back home with me for another 11 or 12 months, and adding my name to the list of players to go back-to-back. It’s a very short list, but I’m on it.”

For van Veen, however, defeat in his maiden appearance at this level represented a bitter disappointment, though one he can use as a platform for future success. “Not the outcome I wanted, of course,” the newly-crowned Dutch number one told journalists afterwards.

“I said before the game that I wanted to win this title, but first of all I wanted to give Luke a game, because he’s a fantastic player. I wanted it to be close, because I knew if it was close, I’d have a chance. That didn’t happen today.”

This certainly won’t be the final occasion these two competitors face each other on darts’ grandest platform. Having climbed into the top three in the order of merit, van Veen is now eyeing a Premier League berth and the chance to continue competing alongside the sport’s elite.

This sets the stage for another captivating year ahead, as each player aims to disrupt Littler’s reign of supremacy at the pinnacle.
