Blue and silver Falcon road bike stolen in York city centre
North Yorkshire Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they’d like to identify after a bike was stolen from outside the central library in Museum Street.
The theft took place at 3.05pm on October 29 with the man seen walking up to the bike, which was locked to the cycle rack to the right of the entrance to the library, removing the lock and riding off on it.
He was seen going down Gillygate and then onto Clarence Street on the bike, which is a blue and silver Falcon road bike.
“We are appealing for any help that would lead to the identification of the male shown in the still image taken from the stores CCTV system,” said a spokesperson for the force.
