Boy, 17, bailed after assault on Bradshawgate, Bolton

Police were called to reports of an assault at around 5.50am on Saturday, January 17 on Bradshawgate, near to The Cube.

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital with a “serious head injury” and a 17-year-old boy was been arrested on suspicion of assault.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) shared that the teenager has now been bailed, with conditions not to enter Bolton town centre, unless for a pre-planned appointment.

The area was cordoned off following the incident while forensic teams worked on Saturday morning, with blood visible on the pavement outside the newsagents’ and student accommodation.
