Operation requires starting the vehicle, plugging the unit into a 12V car outlet, connecting the hose to the tyre and selecting the desired pressure. For tyres sized 185/55 R14, the inflator can increase pressure from 30 PSI (a unit of measurement of pressure) to 36 PSI in under one minute and inflate from 0 PSI to 36 PSI in under five minutes.
