Burnley vs Manchester United prediction
It is difficult to say which team has the advantage for this fixture. On one hand there’s a case that Burnley could benefit from a sudden change at Man United to pick up a much needed win.
On the other hand, there’s an argument that United are facing Burnley at the perfect time given Scott Parker side’s poor form at the moment.
We expect a new manager bounce to work to the visitors’ benefit, though it will be a close game.
Manchester United to win, 2-1.
Head to head (h2h) history and results
Man United won the reverse meeting between the two sides earlier in the season thanks to a 97th penalty from Fernandes. That result made it eight games unbeaten against Burnley across all competitions.
You have to go all the way back to August 2009 for Burnley’s last home win over the Red Devils, Robbie Blake was the match-winner on that occasion.
