Police were called to an icy Cambridgeshire road this morning with reports of a collision involving two vehicles. Cambridgeshire Police attended to the crash in Isleham this morning (Monday, January 5).
Officers arrived at the scene to find two vehicles in a ditch. No one was seriously injured in the crash.
Police have now issued a warning on social media following the widespread snowfall across Cambridgeshire for drivers to allow extra time for their journeys. Drivers should slow down while on the road and keep extra distance between vehicles.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “We were called to Isleham earlier this morning following reports that two vehicles had collided with each other.
“Officers arrived to find both vehicles in the ditch, thankfully no one was seriously injured.
“A reminder to stay safe with widespread snow and ice across the county. Allow extra time for your journey, slow down and keep extra distance from the vehicle ahead.”
