Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returned to Channel 4 on Monday night and it wasn’t long before one celebrity dramatically walked

One Celebrity SAS participant dramatically handed in their arm band as they reached their limits as others were on the verge of fainting.

The Channel 4 programme has made its comeback with the debut episode airing on Sunday, January 4. The beloved series continued tonight (January 5) with yet another heart-stopping episode.

In an unprecedented move, the programme showcases two squads from different hemispheres: seven British personalities and seven Australian celebrities.

The UK contingent features Love Island favourites Gabby and Dani Dyer, plus social media stars Jack Joseph and Cole Anderson James. Completing the British lineup are rugby icon Ben Cohen, Gladiator Toby Olubi and cricket ace Graeme Swann, reports OK!.

The Australian roster boasts familiar names including MAFS personality Jessika Power, cricket player Brad Hodge, Olympic swimming champions Emily Seebohm and Mack Horton, plus performers Axle Whitehead, Ryan Moloney and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.

Within moments of Monday’s programme beginning, Dr Gareth’s psychological assessment delivered some harsh realities. Discussing television personality Ryan Molony, Dr Gareth observed: “He’s not an alpha, he thinks he’s more alpha than he is.”

Regarding Jessika Power, the psychiatrist remarked: “She’s an attention seeker”, whilst noting about Natalie Bassingthwaighte: “She will go into spiral and she will let everyone know that.”

In the latest episode (January 5), the celebrities were put through their paces in another gruelling challenge. They were dispatched in pairs to patrol a deserted village, tasked with shooting the enemy, avoiding innocent civilians and ensuring not to accidentally shoot a teammate.

However, it was the second task that proved particularly challenging for the contestants. They were required to reach and destroy an enemy communication tower by crawling through 230m of mud-filled tunnels and confined spaces.

Content creator Jack, alongside Dani Dyer and Axle Whitehead, was the first to take on the task. However, he soon found himself struggling, exclaiming: “I’m going to faint.”

Unable to stand, Jack was helped to safety by his teammates. One social media user commented: “F*** me i think id go into full panic mode in that tunnel.”

Another added: “This task would be a nightmare for someone who was claustrophobic.” A third remarked: “Jack did not pass that! He was dragged through.”

It wasn’t long before the first celebrity surrendered their arm band, admitting they had reached their limit. During an exercise, Jessika Power decided to quit, stating “I can’t do it.”

Taking to X, one person said: “Jessica has completely changed from the #MAFSAU days. She quit too soon or maybe if Harrison was in there..”
