  • Form guide: Celtic have lost two home games in a week since the appointment of new manager Wilfried Nancy. They lost 3-0 at home to Roma in the Europa League and were beaten 2-1 by league leaders Hearts last weekend at Parkhead. Nancy is now the first Celtic manager in history to lose his first two games St Mirren beat Dundeed United 2-0 last weekend and drew 3-3 away to Aberdeen three days earlier.
  • Quotes corner – Nancy: “I know what we need to improve on, so now this is more for the players. They deserve this win with all the change (at the club) and so on. “The fans for me are the players, with the way they are behind us, all over the world. Everybody knows Celtic, the fans and the atmosphere. So for me it is a no brainer (to win it for the fans). Obviously we want to win the trophy for them. They are so important.” Stephen Robinson (St Mirren manager): “The fans put up on all the banners, faith over fear. Really believe in what we can do. We’ve earned the right to be here. There will be a nervous energy, of course. We aren’t Celtic who get to every cup final or every other cup final. So we have to embrace the day and enjoy the day but most of all what I coin it with is have faith over fear.”
