Christmas service showed much the King Charles values family and believes in forgiveness

THE King looked the best he has all year and had a real spring in his step.

After everything he’s been through, it was genuinely uplifting to see him looking so well. Queen Camilla was absolutely stunning in red.

She’s usually seen in darker greens, but this felt symbolic – a hopeful, confident choice that reflected how she and the King are feeling after his cancer battle.

The Princess of Wales did an absolutely smashing job.

She looked beautiful and, more importantly, spent a huge amount of time with the public.

People queued for hours to see her and she didn’t disappoint.

She stayed longer than any other royal, collecting flowers, gifts and chatting warmly with well-wishers.

Princess Charlotte was a little star, just like her mum – confidently chatting, thanking people for flowers and even Cadbury chocolate bars, which she dutifully handed to the policewoman behind her.

The bond between Catherine and her daughter was lovely to see.

Prince George and Prince Louis also showed confidence well beyond their years.
