Coronation Street star feared he had bodies under his floor

Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully on the ITV soap opera, shared his fears while appearing on the latest episode of Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted.

After opening the arched doors of his converted church apartment in Scarborough to the team of investigators, the search for spirits got underway.

Coronation Street star says he was scared there were bodies under his floorboards

The Coronation Street actor said: “When we first walked through the door, it was horrendous! It was filthy, it stunk, it was freezing cold. The wind used to howl through the house. When it was renovated – I know there was potentially bodies in the floorboards! There were the remains of poor souls that perished at sea.”

Despite stating he does not believe in the paranormal, the ITV star admitted that his partner hates the property and sometimes refuses to enter.

He added: “Do I believe in the paranormal? No, I don’t, no. But I’m fascinated in the history of the house and if the team can record either a being, a vibe, an energy doing something… I’m here for it! My other half, Peter, hated it with a passion and would sometimes sit in the car and not get out of the car!”

The Discovery+ team comprises psychic Ian Lawman and paranormal investigators Katrina Weidman and Barri Ghai.

Speaking about the investigation, the Queer As Folk actor told them: “I’m ready to be shown that this stuff exists, I am!”

After exploring the spooky home, the psychic admitted: “This is a first for a long time for me, where I’ve been really confused!
