David Walliams issues Little Britain update on ITV's GMB

Little Britain was a popular British sketch show created by Walliams and his good friend Matt Lucas, which ran on the BBC from 2003 to 2006.

Walliams, speaking on GMB on Wednesday (December 10), said the show has received a new lease of life recently, with clips doing the rounds on social media.

He said: “All the clips are being shown on Instagram, TikTok (and other social media channels), so it is finding a new audience.”

Reid and Madeley asked Walliams about Little Britain and whether fans can expect more episodes in the future.

He said: “We would like to do more, or go on tour.”

The interview was then brought to an end, with Walliams jokingly saying: “Is that it?”

Where can you watch Little Britain?

There were three series of Little Britain, plus Little Britain Abroad (which contained two episodes).

In total, there are 22 episodes of the show:

  • Series 1 – 8 episodes
  • Series 2 – 6 episodes
  • Series 3 – 6 episodes
  • Little Britain Abroad – 2 episodes

All episodes of Little Britain are available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

Walliams and Lucas aren’t the only famous faces to feature in Little Britain.

The sketch show also featured other celebrities, including the likes of Ruth Jones, Dawn French, Peter Kay, and Steve Coogan.
